Actress Nam Ji Hyun takes on a challenging role in High Cookie as she sets out to rescue her endangered younger sibling.

LG Uplus's upcoming K-drama High Cookie, written by Kang Han and directed by Song Min Yeop, has unveiled stills featuring Nam Ji Hyun in her lead role as Choi Soo Young.

High Cookie weaves a narrative around a mysterious handmade cookie capable of fulfilling desires with just a single bite, unleashing chaos in an elite high school. It explores the struggles of individuals consumed by their own desires.

The released stills capture the everyday life of Nam Ji Hyun's character, Soo Young. In one still, she's seen dressed in work attire, raising her hand like she is about to beat the person she overpowered while being observed by her colleagues, creating curiosity about the unfolding situation. In the following images, her serious and contemplative gaze hints at underlying tension and suggests an impending crisis.

Even without her work attire, her expressions hint at the heavy responsibilities she has on her shoulders. The scene where she stands in the hospital with a disheartened expression and sits lost in thought provokes curiosity about the challenges and experiences that have shaped her character.

Soo Young is also a responsible older sister who sacrificed her education and works as a temporary worker in a factory to support her younger sibling, Min Young (Jung Da Bin). When Min Young's life is in danger due to the mysterious cookie, Soo Young embarks on a daring journey to save her.

Nam Ji Hyun, who describes Soo Young as a girl whose life is like a blank canvas, is expected to show a compelling portrayal of the character's transformation as her ordinary life becomes entangled with the mysterious cookie. With her versatile acting prowess demonstrated across various genres, including historical dramas, melodramas, and rom-coms, Nam Ji Hyun's performance in High Cookie is highly anticipated.

High Cookie will premiere on Uplus Mobile TV on October 23.
