TVING original series "Ants Are Riding" will officially premiere this August.
On July 6, TVING released the official poster of the upcoming series "Ants Are Riding." It was also revealed that the drama will air its first episode on August 12, 2022.
"Ants Are Riding" will revolve around five different individuals who will enter the world of the stock market. As they have their mysterious meetings about stocks, they will also learn about life, love, and friendship.
The upcoming series will be helmed by Choi Ji Young ("What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" and "The Host" co-writer). The script will be penned by Im Yeon Soo and her team ("Birthcare Center" and "The Sound Of Your Heart.")
The drama will be led by Han Ji Eun, Hong Jong Hyun, Jung Moon Sung, Kim Sun Young, and Jang Gwang.
TVING released two kinds of posters showcasing the joy and despair of the individuals about stocks.
The first poster with a red background showcases the main leads with hopeful expressions signaling the stocks are doing well. On the other hand, the blue poster showcases their opposite reactions signaling disappointment because of the stocks dropping.
"Ants Are Riding" will air its first episode on August 12. It will exclusively premiere on the OTT platform TVING.
Other successful dramas that came from TVING are "Yumi's Cells," "Happiness," "Work Later, Drink Now," and more.
This will be the first drama of Han Ji Eun for the year. She last starred in the 2021 series "Bad and Crazy." She will be part of the 2023 drama "Ask the Stars" with Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin.
Meanwhile, this will be the comeback drama of Hong Jong Hyun after three years. He last starred in the 2019 drama "My Absolute Boyfriend." The actor will also reportedly lead the upcoming drama "Race" with Lee Yun Hee.
