UKISS Lee Jun Young is in talks to work with Choi Woo Shik and Park Bo Young in a new romantic comedy K-drama.
On January 17, media outlets reported that Lee Jun Young will be working alongside Choi Woo Shik and Park Bo Young in the upcoming K-drama Melo Movie.
Lee Jun Young's side shared their response to the circulating casting news. According to Lee Jun Young's representative, Lee Jun Young received the offer, and he is positively considering to star in the upcoming K-drama.
Melo Movie will possibly be added to the long list of upcoming projects of Lee Jun Young. The idol actor is expected to star in the upcoming K-dramas Dreaming of Cinde Fxxxing Rella, Weak Hero Class 2, You Have Done Well, The Impossible Heir, and Na Rae, Kicking Out. He will also star in the upcoming movies More Painful Than Sadness and Badland Hunters which will premiere this month.
Last year, Lee Jun Young was not officially part of any K-dramas. He only made a special cameo appearance in the K-dramas D.P. Season 2 and Mask Girl. Meanwhile this year, the actor is booked and busy with several K-dramas with different genres.
The upcoming K-drama Melo Movie is a romantic comedy K-drama that will revolve around young people who are confidently facing their hardships and bad luck and now have finally found someone they can lean on to take a rest from all the struggles.
It will be the next work of director Oh Choong Hwan (Castaway Diva, Hotel del Luna, and My Love from the Star) and writer Lee Na Eun (Our Beloved Summer).
Lee Jun Young got the offer to portray the role of Hong Si Jun. Ever since his school days, he has dreamed of becoming a genius composer but always tried to hide and keep this dream from his friends.
