Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
Yoo Seung Ho, Kim Dong Hwi, and Yoo Soo Bin are confirmed to lead the upcoming Wavve original drama "Deal."
"Deal" will tell the story of a billion-dollar kidnapping trick of former classmates that gets out of control. It will revolve around two young men in their 20s who accidentally kidnapped their friends.
The upcoming series "Deal" will be based on the Naver webtoon of the same name. It will be directed by Lee Jung Gon, the man behind the 2021 film "Not Out" which got an award at the 22nd Jeonju Film Festival.
Yoo Seung Ho was the first to receive the casting offer. In just as few days, the production team of the drama already confirmed that Yoo Seung Ho will be joined by Kim Dong Hwi and Yoo Soo Bin and they will play the role of the former high school friends.
"Deal" will begin filming in the second half of 2022 after it finalized the casting of the major roles.
Yoo Seung Ho will give life to the character named Lee Joon Sung. He was a star on the soccer team in his high school days but his dreams were shattered because of an incident. After becoming lost for a while, he then decided to get up and get his life back together. While he is on his preparations to have a new beginning, he will get involved in an unintentional kidnapping. This will be the comeback drama of Yoo Seung Ho. He last starred in the 2021 series "Moonshine" with Girls Day Lee Hye Ri, Byeon Woo Seok, Kang Mi Na, Choi Won Young, and Jang Gwang.
Kim Dong Hwi is booked with another drama. After the news of his being part of the upcoming dramas "Missing 2" and "80 Billion Boy," he will take part in a new crime thriller drama. In the series "Deal," Kim Dong Hwi will play the role of Song Jae Hyo, the mastermind of the unintentional kidnapping. He is a medical student who seeks a thrill in his stable life. He then impulsively decided to create a fake kidnapping incident.
Lastly, Yoo Soo Bin's character named Park Min Woo will be the victim of the fake kidnapping. He is the only son of a wealthy family. He also gives suggestions for the fake kidnapping and forces his classmates to change plans repeatedly.
