Seo Ye Hwa will officially join the upcoming KBS drama "Police University"

According to her agency Namoo Actors, Seo Ye Hwa will participate in the new Monday-Tuesday KBS drama "Police University" directed by Yoo Kwan Mo and written by Moon Jung Min. She will be working with
Cha Tae Hyun, B1A4's Jung Jin Young, f(x) Krystal, B.A.P Yoo Young Jae, and Hong Soo Hyun

"Police University" will revolve around a detective who is passionate about catching criminals and a hacker-turned-student who uses his knowledge to solve everything. The two will meet as professor and student at the Police University and will join forces in order to conduct an investigation.

Seo Ye Hwa will play the role of Baek Hee in "Police University." She is the head of the Police University's guidance department and has a picky and meticulous personality.

"Police University" will be produced by Logos Film and will air after the ongoing drama  "At a Distance, Spring Is Green."

Seo Ye Hwa last starred in the hit 2021 tvN drama "Vincenzo" as Jang Yeon Jin, the pawnshop owner, and tenant at the Geumga Plaza. She gained more recognition after her great chemistry with Yang Kyung Won in the drama. The actress was also part of the dramas "The Goddess of Revenge," "Backstreet Rookie," "Extracurricular," "Her Private Life," and "Lawless Lawyer."

"Police University" will be Seo Ye Hwa's second drama of the year. 

Meanwhile, it was reported that filming for "Police University" was temporarily halted due to a staff who tested positive for COVID-19. Although the staff was not in close contact with the cast, the entire cast and crew have still undergone testing for COVID-19 as a precautionary measure.
