"The Roundup: Punishment" Surpasses 7 Million Moviegoers
KBS 2TV has unveiled a preview of the fantasy drama Heartbeat.
The production team of the K-drama is stoking the excitement by releasing a captivating preview featuring Ok Taec Yeon as vampire Seon Woo Hyeol and Won Ji An as Joo In Hae.
The preview opens with Seon Woo Hyeol's saying, "We are vampires" while showing the vampire trio - Seon Woo Hyeol, Park Dong Seop (Go Gyu Pil), and Lee Sang Hae (Yoon Byung Hee) - and their friendship bond that transcends time and space.
In the next scene, Joo In Hae, after inheriting a building from her father, where Woo Hyeol has been sleeping for almost a hundred years, shouts at him to leave. However, contrary to her aversion towards him, the two of them engage in a conversation at a convenience store, leading the neighborhood residents to mistakenly perceive them as a newlywed couple.
One particularly memorable scene is when Woo Hyeol, who, due to a century-long slumber, remains unfamiliar with modern customs, boldly uses In Hae's credit card. Upon discovering this, In Hae becomes furious and exclaims, "Go out and earn money. You said you wanted to be human?".
Then comes into the scene Shin Do Shik (Park Kang Hyun), In Hae's fellow student in college, who coincidentally reunites with her years later. As Woo Hyeol observes Do Shik's growing interest in her, he confronts him and asks the question, "What do you think of In Hae?".
Adding to the intrigue is Do Shik, who wonders about Woo Hyeol's cold hands, and In Hae, who has been silently observing them, disguises his true identity by saying it's "acrodynia".
The preview concludes by giving glimpses of Ok Taec Yeon, Won Ji An, Park Kang Hyun, and Yoon So Hee, heightening curiosity about the destined relationships that will unfold in the drama.
