The Coupang Play series Once Upon a Boyhood has unveiled 12 character stills.

Once Upon a Boyhood is set in the 1980s in Onyang, Chungcheong Province, and tells the story of Jang Byung Tae, a pushover who unexpectedly becomes a boss overnight.

The newly released character stills depict the dynamic daily lives of Jang Byung Tae (Yim Si Wan), who becomes a boss overnight without even knowing why, and the various characters around him.

Transforming from a pushover to the Onyang boss of the Agricultural High School's gang, Jang Byung Tae evokes laughter with his quirky demeanor. As a victim of bullying whose life goal was to live without getting beat up, Byung Tae leaves his bad experiences from his previous school behind and confidently leads a gang.

The stills depict him exuding confidence, an image different from that of a weak boy bullied by his schoolmates, as shown in the previous teasers. Curiosity mounts about his transformation.

The stills give a glimpse of moments when Byung Tae receives fight lessons from his childhood friend Park Ji Young (Lee Sun Bin), who is also known as Onyang's dark horse, to moments of crisis with the appearance of the actual Asan White Tiger Jung Gyeong Tae (Yim Si Wan), a great thug who everyone at Buyeo Agricultural High School believed was Jang Byung Tae, and his moments with Kang Seon Hwa (Kang Hye Won) who is the crush of everyone at Buyeo Agricultural High School.

With actors such as Yin Si Wan, Lee Sun Bin, Kang Hye Won, Lee Shi Woo, and Kim Yun Bae in the cast, the K-drama promises to give viewers a delightful experience with the synergy among young actors, who promise to evoke 1980s nostalgia with their performances; a unique storyline; and rib-tickling comedy.

The K-drama is directed by Lee Myung Woo (The Fiery PriestBackstreet Rookie)

Once Upon a Boyhood will premiere on November 24. Stay tuned for more updates!
