Yoo Seung Mok will be added to the cast of the upcoming ENA K-drama Crash.
On May 13, it was officially confirmed that actor Yoo Seung Mok will be part of the upcoming action thriller K-drama Crash.
This will be his first official K-drama project for the year. The actor made a special appearance in the K-dramas The Bequeathed and Chicken Nugget.
Last year, Yoo Seung Mok impressed everyone after starring in the K-dramas Moving and A Good Day to Be a Dog. He also made a cameo appearance in Shadow Detective Season 2, Decoy: Part 2, and Taxi Driver Season 2. He also participated in the films The Devil's Deal and Ransomed.
Yoo Seung Mok made his acting debut in 2000. He is best known for nailing different roles whether in K-dramas or films. The actor is known to be part of the cast of the hit works One Ordinary Day, Taxi Driver, Kingdom, Voice Season 2, Decision to Leave, 1987: When the Day Comes, and more.
Yoo Seung Mok will work alongside Lee Min Ki, Kwak Sun Young, Heo Sung Tae, Lee Ho Chul, Choi Moon Hee, and Baek Hyun Jin in Crash.
The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Park Joon Woo who is known for creating the hit K-dramas Doctor Detective and Taxi Driver. This will also be the reunion work of director Park Joon Woo and Yoo Seung Mok after three years. The two worked together in Taxi Driver.
Crash will showcase the life and challenges of a Traffic Crime Investigation Team that deals with crimes using their wheels instead of knives.
Yoo Seung Mok will portray the role of Min Young Gun. He will play the father of Kwak Sun Young's character Min So Hee. He is a veteran taxi driver with 30 years of accident-free experience. He will help his daughter in the investigation.
Crash will begin airing on May 13 at 10 PM KST. It will be available on broadcast channel ENA, Genie TV, and Genie TV Mobile.
