Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Yoo Sun Ho is confirmed to star in the upcoming fantasy drama "Excellent Shaman Ga Doo Shim"
Kakao Entertainment confirmed on June 24th that Yoo Sun Ho will be added to the cast lineup of the upcoming KakaoTV drama "Excellent Shaman Ga Doo Shim." He will be joining Nam Da Reum and Kim Sae Ron.
"Excellent Shaman Ga Doo Shim" will be directed by Joo Brothers and director Park Ho Jin. It will showcase the life of high school students Ga Doo Shim and Na Woo Soo who become embroiled in a mysterious chain of events. The story will unfold as Ga Doo Shim transfers to a haunted high school wherein the student who achieves the lowest rank in class is cursed to commit suicide.
Yoo Sun Ho will play the role of Hyun Soo, a high school student who clings to Ga Doo Shim after suffering a tragic death due to evil spirits.
Kim Sae Ron will portray the character of Ga Doo Shim, an 18-year-old high school student who is born to be a female shaman (mudang) to fight evil spirits.
Nam Da Reum takes on the role of Na Woo Soo, an outstanding kid from a rich family. He's also a high school student who is not used to life's difficulties.
The upcoming drama is set to premiere in the second half of the year and will have a total of 12 episodes. Each episode will consist of about 20 minutes and they will start filming soon.
"Excellent Shaman Ga Doo Shim" will be Yoo Sun Ho's follow-up drama after starring in "Undercover" with Ji Jin Hee, Kim Hyun Joo, Yeon Woo Jin, Han Sun Hwa, and more. He was also part of the dramas "My Strange Hero," "Devil Inspector 2," "Big Forest," and more.
Yoo Sun Ho is also expected to debut on the big screen with the upcoming movie "It's Been A Long Time" with main leads Girls Day's Bang Min Ah and Lee Ga Sub.
