Aso Haruto is Aya's classmate and is part of the biology department. He tends to think and act by himself, and sometimes might seem like a very stubborn person.
After meeting Aya he fell in love with her, and seeing her suffer with her disease, decided to study medicine after graduation, eventually, after Aya's death, becoming a neurologist at the hospital she was hospitalized at.
