Princess of the second dynasty of the Winged Tribe of Qing province, Yu Ran grew up in the State of Xia Tang where her aunt Gong Yu Yi took refuge after fleeing to the Eastern Lands.
Yu Ran is a bright and spirited young girl, who loves escaping from the palace dressed like a man to freely roam the city. During one of her adventures, she meets Ji Ye and Lü Gui Chen, with whom she becomes close friend.
