Therefore, she has spent all these years deceiving herself and blaming the male lead instead. By making him responsible, she can continue living while seeing herself as the pitiful victim.

3. The male lead’s existence constantly reminds her of two things: the mistake she made back then and the fact that she has failed in her responsibilities as a mother for all these years. That is why he has become a taboo subject for her. Whenever he appears in front of her, she immediately becomes hysterical.

4. She has strong narcissistic personality traits. You can see this in the way she treats both her eldest son and her adopted son. She expects them to be obedient and to live entirely according to her wishes. Therefore, the male lead’s determination to live on his own terms poses a major challenge to her authority. She cannot tolerate it, so she constantly belittles and physically abuses him.
