I really hope screenwriter don't whitewashing main male lead character from the original novel too much.

Still no English translation of the novel but when reading novel reader comments, all of them mentioned how really red flag his character is.

I will fell very annoyed if the screenwriter change main couple ending from original novel yet whitewashing main male lead character so much.

The most exciting thing for me is because Liu Xue Yi and Wu Jin Yan using their own voices for their characters in this drama.

I'm willing to close one eye for many things of Chinese costume dramas like some plothole, too much filter, too much white makeup for main leads, more red lipstick than usual for main male lead and other things but voice acting is one of main part of the actor/actress job.

They could use beautiful costumes, headpieces, accessories, body double or director filming in certain way to cover their performances but voice acting is most important part that show the true skill and level of an actor/actress. I could understand if an actor/actress used voice actor/actress in the beginning years of their career but what do you means he/she already acting almost 10 years and some of them even played many main leads already yet still no improvement for using your own voice?

So that means another person doing half of your job as actor/actress for almost 10 years right 0_0
