Yeah, the thread is huge and easy to miss the details within it.

 LBPG:

Yeongjo died at 81 and San was regent for 1 year. He's barely now coming into that role, so maybe a mistranslation? Or he's right around 80? But definitely it would seem there are implied time skips throughout, and the story is pretty compressed. It's 16 episodes, there's not enough time :'(

Yeah I think maybe 1-3 years have passed instead. But the king is definitely going to die maybe in two episodes? since there are only 8 more episodes left.
