I wanted to make a thread to discuss the little details that make this show so good -

The storytelling in this is absolutely insane! The detective's refusal to see Hyun Soo for who he is despite damning evidence presenting itself time and time again ties in well with the first case with the poisoned wife. I love the little incidents where the detective comes a step closer to realizing that her husband is not who she thinks he is.

- That night when the restaurant owner was murdered, the way she looked at him when he came back home, how she couldn't recognize him. The music and lighting were crucial and they pulled through.

- That time when she saw the footage of the restaurant owner being killed, the way she looked at the man in the raincoat and flashed back to her husband the same night.

- Thinking that her husband had been kidnapped in the preview for ep 5

If you guys saw any other stuff, please let me know. I'm sure I missed a bunch of stuff.

I think she knows but decided to be in denial. The restaurant scene where she recalls her husband cooking the same food, n the moment she realized the reporter know her husband too

To be honest, she is exactly like the wife that took the vitamins from her husband. There is a reason that DHS could go down to harass the reporter at 3 AM, because he fed her sleeping pills. Remember the scene where DHS meets up with his mom in episode 2 and then end the conversation with: I need sleeping pills

I thought the pills were for threatening the reporter but that makes sense as well!

Also, I'm wondering how the hell the detective hasn't concluded that Hyun Soo has some kinda trauma going on with all his spaced out staring and paranoid behaviour when they first met... Tbh the only thing that keeps him from being outright sus are his fake parents.

Did anyone notice her phone screen background?

 Ulzzang:

Did anyone notice her phone screen background?

Yup... what kind of a psycho has a rando flower rather than her daughters pic as the lock screen XD

all jokes aside I'm wondering if it'll actually play into the plot or just be a easter egg.
