I'm just now starting on "Boy Next World", so I can catch up on the first three episodes just in time for Sunday's episode 4 and can join in on the group watch. Whoo-hoo!

Same on both! I barely caught up with The Heart Killers this week. It took me forever to get past ep 6 because it gave me anxiety lmao

For Boy Next World I accidently saw a spoiler for the plot and it kind of weirded me out in the typical Mame sense, so I'm still on ep 2 lol-- I'll try to catch up before Sunday.

I would say Pit Babe, where Babe is a bottom and is the more assertive one the rest of the time. I think the "typical" is the top is the more assertive one.

The Heart Killers: Uncut

Right, I finally have the time and energy to give my thoughts on this series.

As the episodes progress I find I am enjoying it less and less. It is by no means because of any specific fault, but rather a matter of preference for me in how I would have liked the story portrayed. I would prefer for it to lean more into the dark romance theme. I would have preferred for GMMTV to channel and exceed the darkness and danger Not Me had; plus some of the toxicity of Theory of Love. 

As I said earlier in this post, there is no apparent fault in the series in my opinion, but I am just finding the happenings too "calm" for this type of story-line; I especially feel this way after watching episodes 8 and 9. Another thing that is not giving this story the mood I would have preferred is the production. I would want Be On Cloud type of production. For me they capture the darker/danger themes well. 

Edit: That fake blood used for Style's bullet wound pissed me off because there is no way that was supposed to be believable. It looked like the water from a red paint brush after the second wash.

Basically what I am saying is that this series is getting too PG for my liking with this type of story-line.

Anyway, the series is good. I will of course finish it, but if I am being honest, if I was in the practice of dropping series, I would drop it.

Overall this episode was a shocker,  I love the music video concept so much it suits MARS tbh

It has been a very busy week I am afraid. As I type now I have an essay on Haiti post-independence to finish.
