how about those dramas where the girl in a kissing scene is a stone wall?
purplenette wrote: OK...I'm bothered by the cell phone battery thing too and that they get "love"sick. It makes me roll my eyes. However, my biggest pet peeve is the wide eyed look for every emotion. Seriously...

This girl has the same face for every emotion

Although I have yet to watch anything with this actress in it .. I totally know what you mean .. super annoying.

Purplenette, I see that Kim Sun Ah is your favorite actress ;) I just recently started watching My Name is Kim Sam Soon and I'm really enjoying it (i love Hyun Bin)!

I know right! I first saw this with Koo Hye Sun in BBF. That woman is a statue. I never bothered to watch any of her other work, so I don't know if she's always like that. How could she just sit/stand there with a stud muffin like LMH .. such a waste! Although .. I think LMH's kissing skills got much better after BBF ;)

Kim Sun Ah really is the entire package to me...I'm glad you are enjoying that drama. I totally know what you mean about Koo Hye Sun just standing there while being kissed by Lee Min Ho. Is she crazy??? They would have to scrape me off that guy with a spatular. Anyway, I guess directors tell them to do it that way. It is stupid, but I guess it is the Korean way.

That picture is from my girl. Weird thing is people inside the range rover is sleeping while frozen winter outside. Beside that why that flash lights are open? So much waste of fuel or end of a battery :P

People just assumed it was a mistake...but knowing how many people work on shows, twice is more than just an 'oopsie'.

They knew what they were doing...they just didn't care it was stupid.
Sponsors paid for all those pretty stuff and production so had to be advertised I guess.

*shakes my head*

Oh LOL i never notice that b4!
Not just kissing scenes but hugging scenes too! He hugs her...and then nothing...my refridgerator can give a better response!
Glad I'm not the only person who realized what would be considered weird acting. Here's another one. I always get this irritating feeling when the character uses the word 'what to do' over and over again when It's painfully obvious.

lol yeah!!! I'm always like.......... "if that were real life, they would probably be jumping each other's bones"! And I don't mean it in a sex-reference way, I just mean that that's the way you act when you have a couple, all mushy-I-can't-get-enough-of-you-mushy. That's one of the reasons why I loved Queen In Hyun's Man. Now THAT is a real couple.

And for me the weirdest acting is the one of foreigners. They are ALWAYS white, and really don't know how to act. This is the downfall of several dramas, like King2Hearts, which required serious foreigner acting

If I remember correctly the foreigner in Tamra, The Island did a really nice job. There was a black guy who played an extremely small role in Great Teach Onizuka Special and he did a nice job as well. Those two are the only foreigners that I can remember doing a good job.
the step brother on To The Beautiful You did a pretty good job. best I have seen in a k-drama at least.
