Wow! Thats quite a feat! Im the total opposite.  I met my hubby in uni and all my travels since then (other than business trip) were with him only. I never got to travel with my buddies because we all have different interests and schedules. Never successfully arranged a holiday although we have been saying it for years.

Full of admiration for Chinese actors, many of them can do this. They cry so beautifully. Weiwei can do it too. Whilst we mortals just cry so uglily along with them. Hahhahaha...

Ok, the next sad scene, I will try to cry beautifully with them.

However to find a right one is tough. I am still looking for someone who loves cdrama to travel to Hengdian with me and this is tougher to fulfill hehehehe

My close pal went to hengdian during mid Autumn festival. She sent pix of ‘dashing youth’ JOL to me!  Knowing me favorites. Haha .. So I am happy liao

Wow soooooooo so romantic hehehe I should had done that even just local trips. 

To me with buddies is depends on you whether you want or don’t want. I don’t see why cannot be arranged. I see my friends priority isn’t traveling like me that is why more difficult. They not willing to find time or make time. They rather travel with their family too. This is reality I guess. If I travel with kids I have to pay for everyone Hahahhaha that is why I need a travel buddy hahahahah

Joa, Fiona…. I think the most important thing is  to have safe happy travels regardless biz or with family or pals.. I done all 3 except with my poodle.. ha. Travelling with pals are risky - u may end up as enemies haha..

Yes have to be careful which friends u go holiday with.  Go with the closer ones. My buddies and I went to school together and have known each other for 30 years. (I'm old!) Im not afraid of falling out with them but no chance to go! There are 4 of us. 2 are working full time and 3 of us have kids. Our schedules never match. And yes like fiona says, whether all of us give priority to make it happen.

I do want to travel alone though.  More exciting! The closest I've come to that was to bring my 5 yr old to tokyo for a few days before meeting up with my hubby or those few days alone on business trip. But I've never done a full holiday . i can imagine the panic if an emergency crops up! Or like ur turbulence incident. Hahaha.. 

Did u read about the person who spent 30k$ bringing her dog on holiday to Japan?! 

@Joa.. wahaaa spend so much to hol with doggy? Must be super rich.  Hmm, my close friends know I am a ‘princess’ when travelling with em.. I must eat, zzz and dress chic haha.. I brought one close pal to eat puffer fish in Tokyo 1 decade ++ ago. Aiya.. must eat in style.. haha.. It was a 4 star joint and I ate there few times with the locals… Her hubby was totally shocked cos he and wifey r super ‘hygienic’ peeps.. and wifey shocked him further by showing the videos…  haha we are pals!

Not that different from you. Met my hubby not long after graduating from uni and get married soon. But for me before marriage, I traveled with my parents, or with grandparents or with my brothers or with my cousins,etc  so basically families and relatives. After I get married, most of my travels/vacations/trips are with my hubby. And sometimes we traveled together with our families or with my brothers or with cousins from both sides. Never travel with my buddies too. Well apart from shopping trips hahaha so that doesn't count as most of my buddies live in NY.

I do usually extend a few days to travel myself. Yes, it's fun. Own time own target.

This part is true. I lost a friend post trip. Her bad behaviour during the trip was so unexpected. I won't call her an enemy, but she is not my friend either. We have become 2 ships passing each other in the night. Dang, watched too many period dramas, starting to speak like them. AHAHAHHA

I always have my seatbelt on. Watched too many airline disaster documentaries where the folks who had their seatbelts on, are the ones who lived to tell the tale. But @pytheos, the turbulence you encountered sounds scary! Glad you are ok. Btw, if the stranger looks like Xixi / Weiwei / LeiLei, please don't be shy and just grab his hand ok? ChunTian support you!!! AHAHHAHAHA

Funny experiences with strangers on the plane for me brings to mind the one where I was seated next to a guy who kept trying to chat me up. It's like dude, which part of my 1 word answers do you not get? Surely you already get it that I do not wish to speak to you. I just wanna watch my movie. It was not funny at all whilst I was trying to not give him the chance to speak to me. But now that it's over, it's funny.  Hahahaha...isn't that always the case? Post situation, one realises how funny it is.
