-- Kitagawa keiko.
Fukuda saki and ashida mana :3
I know this may be a bit controversial, but i sincerely consider her to be a great actress; Sawajiri Erika. Putting aside One Litre of Tears, her movie roles are impeccable. She is able to move you and touch you even when she's a character who is not in the forefront. i.e. Tenshi No Tamago. I think Nakama Yukie & Shida Mirai are right up there too. ^^
Kitagawa keiko Eikura Nana Karina Inoue Mao
Tanimura Mitsuki: I love her to pieces, but I wish she would get more lead roles! But her minor roles are definitely memorable. Nakama Yukie: One word-AMAZING! That is all. Atsuko Maeda: I love AKB48, and I'll miss her but man she is a great actress! I was surprised! :D
I've posted in this thread before but a lot of time has passed but my top 5 now are: 1. Toda Erika 2. Aragaki Yui 3. Kanjiya Shihori 4. Kawashima Umika 5. Kitagawa Keiko The last 2 haven't seen as much as the first three but I see a lot of potential in Umika (plus her other characteristics) and for Keiko, there is a certain unique charm about her in her roles that I like. But yeah, all 5 of them have a certain uniqueness in their acting that I like. Erika Toda has this odd nerdy way about her acting. Yui Aragaki has a calming effect that just soothes your soul with her acting. And with Kanjiya Shihori, her perkiness just makes you smile with her in her shows. :)
Erika Toda and Keiko Kitagawa
Aragaki Yui Ueto Aya Horikita Maki Toda Erika Kanno Miho
Toda Erika Nishiuchi Mariya Inoue Mao Kato Rosa Mizuki Alisa
Kumiko Aso. I am surprised no one mentioned her on the list. She is a quality actress and I glad she is a regular in movies, not crappy dramas
Miho Kanno. You gotta watch her works when she was younger (1997-2005). Sad to see she is typecasted in bland roles, even though she still stands out due to his talent
Riisa Naka. Younger, female version of Yuusha Yamada, her versatility is simply jawdropping and has countless expression to convey various emotions. Still a bit atrocious in terms of role choices, though
Fumi Nikaido. This youngster is way ahead of her biological age. She is set to be on the premier league indeed.
Mikako Tabe. A comedy master for someone of her age and versatile as well
Rena Nounen. A new discovery this year, she is making headlines in Japan right now due to fantastic performance in Amachan. Technically decent and super-adorable talent.
Mayu Matsuoka. Again, I came across this young actress in many good wonderkid shows, and fact that she is casted in all that critically-acclaimed show is already astounding. She is still 18 years old but can portray very diverse roles.
