Yeah, it's not a light drama for sure, but it was at least a good story with good performances. If you don't like sad/bad endings, it probably wouldn't be a good one to start.

Melody at least has a happy ending.

Just started Love Game in Eastern Fantasy - it's fun, light (so far). If you like Ding Yuxi it's worth checking out. Esther is...Esther lol, much like in LBFAD, but it's not bad.

LBFAD is also just okay but it didn't leave an impressive mark on me. Esther's role in Love Game is like a child (in the trailer I saw) and I'm sorry but her voice bothers me, or maybe I just didn't get the mood of the drama yet 

Melody. Okay I will check the trailer 

Love of Nirvana, I just checked the trailer, it's Ren Jialun but he looks better with his ancient costume and high ponytail for this drama. And he also wears a mask, I find it very handsome. I remember Deng Wei's Love of the Divine Tree wearing a mask. I'm okay with sad endings but I will weigh bad endings ?

How bad is the ending of Love of Nirvana?

She was scared because of something happened in their past and she thought he was behind it. The goose is one of the fun things in the drama,

Melody of Golden Age is good. Like she said, if you like the male lead, you can try both his dramas. I think Melody female lead sometimes not good as Rise of Ning female lead but both work good in solving cases. The chemistry is also good. Melody male lead confession is so sweet, if you like him, you can start with it

Love Game female lead is funny and crazy how many time she had to die in the game. Her character outside the game has a sad story but her in the game has a bad reputation and not good story. She was a spoiled child in the game,

In the trailer, the second male lead u were talking about is Ci Sha, the ML of the Legend of Heroes: HB who also has Jing in his name. I will look forward to the sword fights. Zhang Wanyi looks good when does fight scenes. Is it action packed?

I am not familiar with him,

The Rise of Ning? It has action scenes with the male leads involved but not every episode,

It's more sad than bad in my opinion. The ML dies (and the emperor with him), but it kind of was heading in that direction throughout the story. FL has his child and that's the ending scene, her with their son.
