Trying not raise my hopes, but it's basically the censoring government vs money grubbing corporation.  I can't imagine the executives at TenCent aren't salivating at having this on their roster, given the two leads had the hottest shows this year and the market for BL.  But allegedly the government has said no Danmei book adaptations.

That said, this show was all set to go before or right as the ban came down.  It actually had passed approval.   I don't know why they didn't try to grandfather it in, but maybe they did.  Allegedly, that approval is supposed to run out soon.

We are still getting leaks of footage, so, who knows?
