Erk…obviously…but I wouldn’t ask here if that’s the option for me. I don’t have the freedom of time to read so I’m asking to be spoiled from those who had read it.

Please someone spoil me coz I saw a clip about Cang Xuan and Xiao Yao in S2 and it’s too sad! I wanna know what’s the ending for CX and XY, and who she really ends up with. I mean I really don’t want her to hate CX in the end.

She’s not going to hate CX in the end. I added excerpts of their conversations in this thread that you can read. XY loves Xuan more than anything so much so that she can’t bring herself to hate him despite what he did. So, she tries to kill herself permanently and when that doesn’t work she attempts to become Royal Mother so that Xuan will give up. However, thanks to XL’s efforts, Jing comes back and they get married. Xuan finally gives up.

After watching episode 32, I can't help but wonder what if Jing died? XY couldn't save him in time. The story would really change then. XY would go to Mount Jade or stay be Xuan's side. I would settle her being by his side if she can't be his spouse. At least, they will still have each other.

What are some of your thoughts on how the story would end? Would Xuan still have a chance?

I'm going to be honest idk. There is still the whole engaged to FengLong thing. Without Jing, XL wouldn't have a cover story to break up the wedding. I'm torn on if he'd still break it up or not. And Xuan tried to stop the wedding to FengLong but couldn't. So I feel like they might still not end up together...

There is also XY's requirements for a husband which Xuan does not meet...I'm honestly not sure what potential changes could be made, aside from him picking up on the hints XY gave him as WXL, for them to end up together. 

There is a point in the novel where he confesses to her and tells her he can wait for her to open up her heart and she is confused. This is before she realizes that he assisted with Jing's death so there is also that.

I like the ending ie. although CX lost XY to TSJ, he was able to protect XY forever.  Even TSJ couldn't do so with his money except CX. 

XL- he gave up on living.  

And, XY and TSJ go to the ocean to live in one of the islands.

I think CX married one of each.

From the novel, we could deduce to the fact that CX would spend more time with Ah Nian compared to other women.  Yin Xue would still remain as an Empress and CX would treat her well.

That's the part I was wondering about...what happens to Furball...I forgot if TH addressed that or not... I'll probably go reread to see if I can find it.

Yes because everyone but XY knows about CX's love for XY. Towards the later parts of the novel, it is very obvious to everyone but XY. His actions and words clearly show that he's in love with her. You'd have to be blind or well...XY not to see it in the later parts of the novel.

No, not Ah Nian.  Only Xin Yue who knew about CX's secret love for XY.  I think her brother knew it too because XY asked him to help her look for XY during her attempt to kill XY.
