MDL staff have thoroughly ignored requests like this one for years.
With 63 votes, this suggestion should have been added to the List of Suggestions months ago, and would now be in the "medium priority" category.
It is not.

There are rumours that the owner(s) of MDL and/or (one of) the major sponsors are homophobic and simply don't want a streaming platform for and production company of LGBTQ+ titles to be visible on MDL.

I wondered if this was true and started digging around to see if I could find any official statements. And I found none, just this:

GagaOOLala themselves created an account and asked to be added as a streaming service here and here.  I recommend scrolling a bit further, there are more people requesting Gaga in April and May 2021, and ... just a short time after, staff decided that they wanted users to use a form when requesting new streaming providers to be added.
Several people (and GagaOOLala themselves!) said they filled out the form immediately afterwards, but -- well.
It could be a coincidence, but I don't really believe in coincidences.
(A form is private, nobody will know how many requests there were, while in a public thread other people, like me, can easily see that requests were made and ignored.)

GagaOOLala also asked to be added as a network in this post  (the same request was also made by users, as you'll see if you scroll down a bit), but there was no response at all.
(They do produce originals, and it's just ridiculous to see a GagaOOLala Original on MDL, without any indication that it was produced by them, but with a link to WeTV or iQiYi.)

GagaOOLala have also tried to reach out via other platforms, I found this thread on Twitter.

So, are the rumours true?
I don't know.
But the silence is deafening.
