Do the viewers' votes affect the overall rating of the drama?

I would appreciate it if you could answer this question. Viewers have been rating a drama on MDL for several days and the comments indicate that everyone is pleased with the drama. So why is the overall rating of the drama decreasing instead of increasing? Are the viewers' votes not being taken seriously?

I think you’ve already answered your own question. People who like the drama are usually more vocal and leave positive comments. However, those who don’t like it often don’t comment but still leave a rating. That’s likely why the overall rating is going down even though the comments are positive.

Not to mention sometimes when user say something negative,people complain under their comment and saying stuff like "If you don't like it dont comment" "No one asked if you liked it or not" etc. Seen many instances.

No, I still haven't received my answer. Because despite high ratings being given for a series for days, the overall score is not increasing. And this has happened with many dramas. So, do the scores change according to the votes given by the viewers?
