Why only shen yue?

"actress wearing the same outfit from different angles. Keeping all of them isn't necessary" Other have a same outfits and different angels as well, but you didn't include them.

Hi, @Woshishei2 Since your post is very long, I can't quote it, but could you kindly tell me which photos you actually meant by 'others'? If you provide the links to those photos here, I can answer your question. Thank you!

Moonlight:

Thank you for taking the time to go through the photos and for sharing your suggestion.

Just to clarify, the photos I uploaded aren’t duplicates, and they fully follow MDL’s photo upload guidelines. They’re different shots from the same set, showing her posing, looking, or facing in different directions, and they’ve also been uploaded under the appropriate show section. So I don’t really see an issue with keeping multiple photos when they capture different moments and angles.

And this isn’t something unique to my uploads either. If you go to the profiles of any of the artists on MDL and browse through their Photos section, you’ll find plenty of similar examples and in some cases, there are even repeated or near-identical photos. So I don’t think uploading several different shots is particularly unusual or something that needs to be corrected.

Hi, maple_snow. Thanks for responding to my message.

I think you should carefully read the three links provided below:

Everything has been clarified there. From those, it can be understood that the photos you posted, as well as the types of photos you uploaded for other dramas of her, don’t appear to be allowed under the guidelines. In fact, I have already reported the photos you uploaded, and they have already been removed. There are still quite a few other dramas that need to be reviewed, and when I get time, I will add those too.

MDL's photo upload guidelines were posted in last year, but at that time, no one was aware of it—and even I didn't know about it myself. That's why, until now, everyone (including me) has uploaded many things against the rules. However, jaxca has now joined the staff team, and his duty is to ensure the photo gallery is properly maintained. So, we are all currently helping him gradually clean everything up according to the rules. I hope you’ll be able to follow the guidelines going forward and will also help us keep the photo gallery in order. Since a comment was quoted my post, I have shared my opinion on what I had to say, and I leave the rest up to jaxca—whatever decision he make will be fine with me. Thank you :)

Thanks for clarifying, Moonlight.

I understand that you believe that many photos uploaded by me of Shen Yue fall outside the guidelines. However, let me reiterate that I always make a point of following MDL’s guidelines when uploading any photos. So, if there is a specific rule I’ve misunderstood, I’m perfectly happy to take a look at it and correct anything that needs correcting.

And as you’ve mentioned, the guidelines weren’t widely known when they were introduced, and many users, including yourself, have uploaded photos that may not have complied with them. So I think it makes more sense to let the staff team determine what should or shouldn’t remain, rather than individual users deciding which photos other users should remove.

If the staff determines that a particular photo doesn’t meet the guidelines, that’s completely fine with me. I’ll respect their decision.

I think the question Woshishei is asking, why have you only reported the Shen Yue pictures from that particular gallery. There's plenty of other pictures of other celebs that fall under the same reasons for deletions, i.e. multiple shots that are only slightly different.

You definitely need to post a link in the description box of where you got the picture from, which is helpful for staff (Jaxca) to decide if the image is official / or not.

It is entirely the staff's decision about which pictures should be removed. The lists from most the posters here are suggestions for images that may not meet the guidelines and rules.
