Not exactly because they do not complete the marriage ritual because Houchi will hurt Bai Jue very badly when she gets her powers back. He will never fully recover of this wound. The wedding is not official but Jing Zhao keeps living with him and for everyone they are married. Bai Jue just manage to avoid the wedding night. The obstacle is Bai Jue, he is the one who wants to use Jing Zhao as a smoke curtain. And when Shang Gu recovers her memories, she won’t have her last 300 years memories so she thinks she and Bai Jue only had a crush so she didn’t really try to get Bai Jue back from Jing Zhao. But I don’t think the drama will go like this because in the previews Shang Gu seems really sad this is different from the book.

With all of this it doesn’t sound like a happy ending for Bai Jue and Shanggu. I’m so lost. I just want them happy. Qing Mu and Houchi somebody. Love and kids that’s what I want ??

Who defeated wu huan in the Novel ? i mean was it bai ju ? shanggu or someone else. as bai ju is poisoned and wu huan is so much powerfull.

Shangu but Wu Huan never got that powerful in the novel.

well that could be heavely emperor as well there is a flash in the trailer of using some kind of powers also wu huan was not killed but stripped from her powers only heavely emperor would show that much mercy on her.

Mu Guang still forgives Wu Huan despite all of the horrible things she has done, becomes a dragon spirit, and gave up the Heavenly Emperor position. From what I watched from the fast-track episodes: He saw and knew that she is cultivating Devil power, but still, he turns a blind eye to everything. I face-palmed many times because of it lmao. Hmm, Love really is blind.

Oh man. That's going to be tough to watch. Love is blind, but horny-ness is forever LOL. First his oldest son is an absolute brat and his daughter are just insufferable. Jingjian deserved a better family.

On another note, can someone clarify just how much Houchi/Shang Gu remembers of the past after she has her baby? Is she just pretending to not remember too? Or does she actually not remember?

She do not remember anything. Bai jui taken her memories but those memories were from her scarifice. so she thinks she was sleeping all that time but she would soon find out truth about her child and houchan.

Which sacrifice are you referring to? The one from 60,000 years ago? How does she figure out about her son and houchi then?
