Every Korean or Other Asian Drama I Watched in 2019
This is the place where I rate and review every drama that I saw in the year of 2019. It's basically my diary of feelings about (Korean) dramas. Most of the dramas I watch are K-dramas, but you might see a random Chinese or Taiwanese drama here and there.
This is also the year I discovered Asian television and how my love for them began.

1. My First First Love
Korean Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
It is quite funny how this drama is called My first first love because it is also the very first Korean drama I saw. Haha, it basically was my first love too but then in the sense of it being the reason I fell in love with Korean Dramas. Since it was my very first K-drama this resulted in this drama having a special place in my heart. It´s simply one that´s really close to my heart. Both seasons were a rollercoaster of emotions for me. Besides, literally, everyone is my baby and I would die for all of them.

2. Romance Is a Bonus Book
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Another drama that completely destroyed me feeling wise and that is a favorite to this day. Even after a year and a half, I still think about this drama a lot. This is also the Korean drama that officially sealed the deal that I needed to watch more of them. It is also THE DRAMA that turned me into a Lee Jong-Suk stanner. It is just really good (like really really good), super adorable and cute, the romance is just afagshsjisydfd great, the side-characters are such babes too, and it is also emotional as fuck (well at least for me it was).

3. One More Time
Korean Drama - 2016, 8 episodes
This is the only drama I've dropped so far (so the only drama I haven´t completed watching and never will complete). The ML was so insulting to the FL and didn't respect her at all even though they had been in a relationship for many years. The ML truly made some horrific remarks about his then-girlfriend & the things he said about her appearance and sex life just nauseated me until no end. And like we're supposed to ship these two characters together and they supposedly were madly in love, but I just wanted to smack the hell out of the ML. Seriously that girl 100% deserved better. It's quite surprising that I loathed this drama since I normally like L's dramas (yes, even meow the secret boy was something I loved lol)

4. My First First Love Season 2
Korean Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
This was simply the perfect ending/conclusion to one of my favorite Korean dramas so far. I once again was over feeling everything and basically crying non-stop. It was just so good and I simply cannot describe how much I love this drama. It´s also extra special since I watched the second season with my best friends and that was such an amazing experience too.

5. One Spring Night
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
This would have been a drama that I would have loved a lot more if the ex-boyfriend from our female lead just gave up on her a lot sooner (sooner as in the first four episodes or so and not in episode fourteen). I just wanted the dude to accept that their relationship was over and move the hell along but, of course, he couldn´t which annoyed the crap out of me. However, the romance between the ML and FK was really cute though and One Spring Night also started my love for Jung Hae-In. Also, the younger sister of our female leas was such a mood. Overall a frustrating drama to watch, but one that I still enjoyed since it made me very emotional numerous times too.

6. Well-Intended Love
Chinese Drama - 2019, 20 episodes
This was super dramatic and emotional & contained amazing side characters and subplots. Also, there were so many twists and turns. The male lead´s best friend will also forever be my baby. I did like the romance between our main characters even though I personally wouldn´t want to date the male lead (or someone like him) in real life. The female lead´s friend also had a cute relationship with the male lead´s secretary. However, I refuse to watch the second season of this show since it is about the leads´ love story in an alternate reality and I can´t go through all those drama llama moments again. My heart can´t handle it. Besides, I would have much preferred to see more of their relationship, them being a couple, and going through other stages of life than watching a season where everything starts all over again.

7. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
I used to hate this drama (especially the way the girls ate), however, after seeing multiple K-drama meme videos about this drama I might change my mind since I am willing to give this drama another go. So I will give it another shot, which is also the reason why there is currently no rating.
