1. Persona
Korean Drama - 2019, 4 episodes
Was fun to watch and IU really made these, but I couldn't help but feel like the first one dragged on a bit and I missed a meaning somewhere.
-
2. Animal World
Chinese Movie - 2018
Incredibly entertaining game movie, I'll have to check out the Japanese version as people have been saying it's superior.
-
3. Business Proposal
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Did all of the cliches right and was so fun to watch! My only complaint is it possibly dragged a bit at the end.
-
4. The Beast and the Beauty
Korean Movie - 2005
This movie pissed me off in so many different ways, starting with the male lead wasn't even ugly. While he wasn't conventionally attractive, he immediately assumed that was what she would look at and it frustrated me. Besides that though, the antics were funny.
-
5. 20th Century Girl
Korean Movie - 2022
Could've been such a cute highschool romance and then they had to throw the end out of left field
-
6. Hiyama Kentaro no Ninshin
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Honestly touched me more than I would've expected, I was expecting something that was more of a "joke" but it touched on serious topics, which I appreciated. The only complaint I have is with the episode length it felt like we weren't given any time to marinate in anything we learned.
-
7. Cyber Hell: Exposing an Internet Horror
Korean Movie - 2022
Incredibly interesting and scary to watch as someone who has had experience in chatrooms throughout the years.
-
8. Horror Stories
Korean Movie - 2012
The first story was pretty scary and the others were enjoyable, except for the last one which was just incredibly frustrating.
-
9. Switched
Japanese Drama - 2018, 6 episodes
A very good binge watch even though I was watching in pain a lot of the time from secondhand embarrassment, I never could guess what twists were coming and it made it an enjoyable bingewatch that did not overstay its welcome.
-
10. Sweet & Sour
Korean Movie - 2021
Truthfully I don't know if it was because I wasn't paying attention 100% of the time but I didn't expect the twist at the end. I also didn't really know what the entire premise was because Netflix didn't spoil the gist of the movie like many commented on in the reviews, so I was shocked when he "gave in" so to speak. I didn't feel any empathy for any of the characters, but besides that it was definitely a fun watch.
-
11. The Glory
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Genuinely so good and such an easy binge, I finished the entire drama in one day. I was rooting for the main character so hard and I cannot wait for S2 to see how she enacts her revenge.
-
12. Single’s Inferno
Korean TV Show - 2021, 8 episodes
I mean it's fine, I like reality TV as much as the next person but even though this premise is overdone I just felt like there wasn't all that much to be interested in with the short timeframe and no real stakes.
-
13. Violence Action
Japanese Movie - 2022
I zoned out during most of this movie because it just wasn't engaging, but it did make me interested in the manga so thats something
-
14. My Name
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
Such a good binge watch I was entertained at every moment and I loved solving the mystery of who really killed her father, though I have mixed feelings about the last episode it was still such a wonderful watch
-
15. Remarriage and Desires
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
I'm not gonna sit here and say this is top tier entertainment, or even that it was objectively good, but it was entertaining to watch and definitely melodramatic, even if sometimes I had a hard time of keeping track of the characters
-
16. Physical: 100
Korean TV Show - 2023, 9 episodes
