ep 23 @ 26:30 - imagine you're an e-sports girl and you're kissing your e-sports boy in your secret e-sports relationship but then your other e-sports teammate walks in on how you were kissing and he's wearing a sweater of pikachu cosplaying as sasuke uchiha

ep 8 @ 20:14 - when they decide to nearly kill xiaobai and jackson by launching them hundreds of feet in the air for funsies or whatever it is set to very intense music from the naruto ost, that being 美しき碧い野獣, rock lee's theme. this also plays in ep 11 @ 25:20

ep 7 @ 39:05 - someone has a bunch of naruto posters on the wall. it’s mostly early part 1 manga artwork (technically this means that shikamaru nara is in this drama </3) but there’s also some shippuden anime artwork, which did not start until 2007 but the drama currently is in 2005 at this point. there specifically seems to be a small print of the final naruto vs sasuke battle which would not be until over a decade later

i don't know how they made lu di that likable for being someone who makes liking naruto a primary personality trait but i would protect him with my entire life

so in the last episode @ 01:21:39 when the zombies start attacking the song 薄暮 from shippuden’s BGM starts playing and yes i hate myself for immediately picking up that it was naruto music
