My favorite so far in this franchise because of the Jet vs Donnie fights.

The stunts weren't as good as the first one.  Neither had a great story.

This one had a strange twist that didn't make any sense.  

The story had issues, but Michelle was wonderful in it.

I think I rated this one too high.  I didn't like the story, but the last two fights were excellent.

A re-watch.  Worse the second time around.  Way too much bad CGI

Would have rated it slightly higher if not for the ending.

This was beautifully shot but lacking in personality

If I'd grown up with this one, I might have liked it better but I thought it lacked the charm of the first one and I really hated the 12 year old Fight Club feeling.

Terrible copy, but that's not their fault.  It was fun to watch Michelle, Donnie, and Tony when they were young.  One of the most bonkers "weapons"

Soul of the Sword had no soul.  Jerk of a ML

Simon Yam and Yuen Wah?  Yeah, I'm not exactly objective.

This was awful.

Cynthia Khan and Donnie Yen did a good job and the story was fairly coherent. It was Yuen Yat Choh’s final movie. 

This was Kurata’s movie until they shifted the focus abruptly in the 10 minutes or so. 

A rewatch for me and I still enjoyed it

The most positive thing about this movie was that David Chiang didn't annoy me as much as he usually did

4 hours of dialogue.  Are we trying to talk someone to death?  Biggest disappointment of the marathon.

Really expected more from the Venoms in this one

Was one big mess of a story and the fights weren't very good either.

A breakthrough for the time in terms of the stunts.  I enjoyed Police Story 3 better

a re-rewatch.  Third time was the charm for this one

Big SB extravaganza that spent too much time introducing people who weren't even in the movie!

Follow-up to the Water Margin.  Less story, more blood and death

People came and went inexplicably and the fights were ho-hum
