But most importantly, he’s the one who believes and persuades FL to follow her dreams. He supports her but doesn’t spoil her. Xu Zi Quan / Elvis (played by Elvis Han) -  Fake It Till You Make It - sexy, flirty and mature boyfriend.  He might be a playboy before he's committed, but he has boundaries and knows when to stop.  Once he's in a relationship, he's funny and dotes on his girlfriend.  He's communicative and is honest, trusting and supportive. Forever and Ever - Zhou Shencheng is one of the kindest, most gentle humans ever, which is one of the reasons Shi Yi falls for him when she first meets him. And I loved how supportive and trusting they were of each other as a couple. - u/TVAddict4

Zhousheng Chen from Forever & Ever - My most favorite romantic MLs in any media. He is gentle, kind, compassionate and simply full of love and devotion. There is so much layers to his character that I can write essays to all his act of love since they are mostly silent. It was meant to be that way and instead of telling us by the script, it all showed in action -- every detail, every efforts, every extra miles, even the insignificant ones; which is a lot. He never tell her but she felt his love all over her -- in every part of her bones. A drama that portray inner beauty at its best. My comfort drama. - u/tsuyoi_hikari-

id also recommend Hidden Love, it’s actually written by the same author as WIFTY so it’s another lighthearted romance but the ML is such a green flag, the age gap puts some people off at first ( the actress portraying the young FL makes the age gap seem way bigger then it is ) but we don’t get any romance until shes in college so that’s nothing to worry about, even then it still takes time for the ML to view the FL romantically. so it’s another really cute watch - u/AmazingBeastboy1

Duan Jia Xu (played by Chen Zhe Yuan) -  Hidden Love - He's sweet and kind, thoughtful and considerate.  He endured difficult times and has a complicated family life but doesn't deter him from working hard.  He's actually a little too perfect. - u/virgievirgie

Mo Qingcheng (Tan Jianci) from Love me Love my voice, i believe the drama is a bit controversial as many didn't like the show but I actually liked the fact as someone very eloquently put it, it is a drama without a drama and I liked it

Pei Zhao from Maiden Holmes is the most supportive, understanding and patient ML I have seen. He possesses high emotional intelligence, treats the FL with love and respect and enables the FL to shine in every scene. He has excellent relationships with his friends and subordinates. xie zhi yao (a yao) from meet yourself.

he’s someone dependable that everyone counts on. despite the pressure he faced, he’a always maintain a positive attitude about it, making it seem like everything has always been peachy for him. he’s not only kind, but also patient as well. there was a misunderstanding between him and xu hong dou in the first half of the drama where he thought she was there to heal from a break up and despite his attraction to her, knowing that she’s still in a raw position, he just offer his companionship. i’d date him tbh.

the drama itself is like it namesake. it’s a drama about this career woman, xu hong dou, who quit her job after a health scare, and went to the countryside (yunnan province) to take a break. it was a promise between her and her best friend to go there when they finally had time, but unfortunately they were never to fulfil it. as she settled in, she came to know and befriend the other residents of the homestay and also fellow villagers. it’s a story of how one process with grief, how it really takes a village to raise a person, and how to ‘meet yourself’. all the characters are fleshed out and have their own arc i’d say, which some people might not enjoy bcs the story doesnt revolve around the protagonists only. - u/sftkitti

he’s someone that i would like to befriend. i’d say he’s like a puppy dog especially in front of lian you’an. you can basically see his tail wags every time he sees her.

the drama itself dabbles into some serious issues like infidelity, absent parents and how it shape the children. but it’s not the main topic. i’d say it’s a drama about a career woman changing her career path and have a serendipitous encounter with a badminton player who’s in a slum. along the way, they accompany each other thru the rough times, always rooting on the other just bcs they see how hard they work to get to where they were. even when others doubt their vision, they stood by each other, offering the sincerest of companionship. - u/sftkitti

Qin Chuan (played by Zhang Yi Shan) -  Once and Forever - not perfect but he's the perfect boyfriend.  He demonstrates his love through actions - run to you when you are in danger, sad, or needs help, backs you up if you are yelling at someone, bickers with you but can act all shy.  His love never wavers. s and has only eyes for FL even when there are other women obsessing over him. - u/virgievirgie

Zhang Sinian from Perfect & Casual - Marriage contract plot made right imo. He is a total green flag and simply a nice guy. He never took advantage of the FL, always do the best for her and think the best for her and never stop her agency to pursue what she loves. But the things he did for the FL, she didnt even know it until she went back to the past and realized that there is someone beside her that always protecting her. In her 2nd life, he shows her what it meant to have fun, what it meant to have friends that truly care for you, how memorable high school life can be, or what it meant to have someone that truly love you -- as you are. Bai Lang (played by Gao Zhi Ting) - Small Town Stories - He’s definitely not perfect in the fairytale kind of way, but he’s perfect in my eyes as a regular guy. Bai Lang is smart, hardworking, considerate, caring, loyal, dependable, responsible, and funny. He’s not cute or handsome in the traditional sense, but I love his tan skin and adorable smile. - u/virgievirgie

Liu Qing from The Lion's Secret - Where can I start? This guy is lovely! ? Carefree but absolutely sweet and funny. The drama started with an arrange marriage between the lead and this time around, the FL is the one who is cold and distance. But he won her heart by just simply being himself and won everyone around her as well. I like this drama a lot since the FL has been scarred from her past love, but after falling in love with the ML, she just move on and didnt even want to find out what happened in the past since it simply no longer important. Ji Jun Xing (played by Wu Jun Ting ) - Time and Him Are Just Right - - sweet, patient, doesn't get defensive or upset when misunderstood but gives FL time and space; loving looks and affection at FL that melts my heart - u/virgievirgie

Shan Shan from Twilight - Such a delightful, sweet and lovely ML. He is just loveable and huggable and always wore clothes that made him look so cozy and warm. Shan Shan has very interesting characteristic that you can catch how broken he is simply by watching his behaviors -- all those little cracks are so little yet say thousands of words. But, he is still kindest soul despite his scars -- always think the best of people, living his life to the fullest and never blame anyone. The romance with the FL is slowburn but are simply a delight to watch. They are souls with the same colors and all their little talks with each other are the best part of the drama. If anyone want to watch organic way of falling in love, I would recommend this drama. - u/tsuyoi_hikari-

off the top of my head i’d say When I Fly Towards You not just the male lead but there’s green flags all around, friendship and relationship wise. by far it’s one of the cutest dramas i’ve seen. plus i love the whole camera asthetic, the FL is always recording stuff on this old sony camcorder and the intro is just camera footage which i think is an adorable touch and i managed to get the exact camera the FL uses which i’m happy about. - u/AmazingBeastboy1
