Grave Robbers, Tomb Raiders and Co

One of the best series of the Daomu Biji series. Love the bromance, love the action, love everything.

My second fav after Ultimate note. I love this Fatty actor so much.

MY FUJOSHI HEART IS WEEPING TEARS OF JOY! This one is so damn good, no annoying b*tches, just pure Iron Triangle Horror Action. So many questions. There'll be a third movie or i eat my desk!

This one is great and one of the best sidestories of daomu Biji. My fujoshi heart is singing bcs you can ship shades and flowers so fucking good in this one. They have so many real cool action scenes together and the monster is really really cool (and tentacely hehe). Really. I love it. 

It's pretty okay-ish for the first entry in the Daomu Biji series, but it's so-so if u compare it with later ones. Still cute tho.

Horrible. The only good thing is that they still have the same Fatty actor. The rest is  bad at acting. The story is bad. Just skip it, you won't miss anything except stupid drama, that is so illogical and would never ever happen to the iron triangle.

This one was really good. The chemistry between the iron triangle is wonderful, like in Ultimate Note. I think it takes time after sand sea, because they are retired. The tomb is great and it's quite horrific and brutal. Really really good. 

Yeah ... dunno what to say. Didn't like it that much, but some parts of the story were great. Older Wu Xie is really good. They did explain a lot of the confusing story that happened in LT and UN, so worth watching it just for that. Lieutnant Zhang is in there too, so pluspoint.

Didn't like the "new" triangle in this one. They were all quite annoying. And that female doctor, holy fcking shit, i wish she would just die like in the original novel, really.

It's nice. You understand more of the modern Daomu Biji series after watching this one.
Later in the series there is way too much romantic bullshit and not enough tomb raiding and there is a lot that got cut out. But still nice - Er Ye and Fo Ye are a good pair ;D and Lieutnant Zhang is just so ... good looking.

Not a bad film. The story is a bit shallow with japanese invaders searching for a special tomb in china, so expect some china vs japan stuff. But most of the film is inside a tomb, which has some really cool mechanisms and it loos quite nice - especially the monster.

Confusing story, tomb shows up at the last 15 minutes. Unimportant romantic bs added. The monsters were animated pretty good. Still not worth it.

The only good thing in this is Shades (and that his actor is the sandsea shades). The best is boring. The female Mc is an annoying stupid idiot, who doesn't listen to him and only can scream and fall on her face. There's not even a good tomb in this movie.

Some students go tomb adventuring, without good equipment or telling anyone, where they're going. You can imagine how good that works out. The chars are all very stupid.
But the tomb is quite cool, the monster is nice, there are some creepy scary moments. Plottwist at the end is a bit ridiculous. But overall, it's okay to watch.

The translation of the title is a bit .... welp - it's a tomb, in which 9.000 children got sacrified for the immortality pill. Buuut otherwise, the action was really good in this movie. There wasn't much story to speak of (zero actually), and the female mc was... well just there to make trouble. But the tomb was really really great, the ending was refreshing, and overall it's a good popcorn movie.

Even tho it has tomb raiding as tag, there is not much tomb at all (none in fact, just an empty grave). It's a really bad historical detective murder story, full of dramadramadrama. The only good thing is the buff guard, whos nice to look at.

I think, the story is about some ancient device/machine/formation, that needs shredded humans (literally) to give power. The japanese (ofc) want to use that, to win a war (i think the story is somewhere in the 1920s). And the MC needs to stop them. Well, the subs were really bad, so i didn't understand more. But the two male chars are shipable and it's nice drama with them :D so recommend it just for that. The tomb is smoll but one part of it is visually really cool.

And i think the film belongs to the candle in the tomb series. But I'm not sure. You find the film on iqiyi under "Golden Leopard".

This is not a grave robber movie, this is a romance movie, and a really boring one. The girl is a hundreth years old princess, that slept in a tomb, and hes a reincarnated general and her lover. Boring. Tomb is boring too. The only good thing was the ruthless villain, she was hot and really bad (and one of those horny types *eye rolls*), but I liked her. But the movie is not worth it at all.

Because of the bad subs I didn't get the whole story, but it is about two guys, who went into a tomb, to rescue the village from a disease. One of the guys gets killed for the sake fo the village and his daughter years later tries to find out, why her father died. She gets poisoned while searching for the answer and the rest of the movie is about curing her.

It's pretty boring. The girl is an annoying teenager b*tch, who doesn't listen to her stepdad. There is not much shipping. The tomb is boring (the skeleton dude on the movie poster doesn't show up at all). The only good thing is. The two villains are pretty hot and the weapon of the main villain is cool. That's it.

This one was surprisingly really good. It's about a carpenter, whose brother was a tomb robber, and he gets invited to a village for making an expensive coffin. Then shit goes down. There were a lot of different, really cool characters, and ofc the carpenter is actually from a really known tomb robbing family and needs to get an immortal pill out of the tomb. To help the pretty (completely useless) girl.

Quite a nice plot twist and the tomb was great too. You can even have a tiny bit of shipping (if u squint ;D), and the main char is quite cute.

You can find the movie for free on YT, if you search for 牧野诡事之寻龙 | HUNTING FOR DRAGON. It's with audio issues, but the subtitles are quite good.

Another one of the Muye / Candle in the Tomb-Series. This one was nice, tho there wasn't much story to speak of. It's again the time of one of the intern wars and a general wants the tomb treasures to pay for his soldiers, i guess. The head of the grave robber family Feng helps him (and boi, the actor is REALLY hot). Stuff in the tomb happens, of course there is another tomb robber family, who wants to kill Feng-boss (who is quite good looking too), and that was it. You can ship the two tomb robber family bosses a tiny bit, especially after a revelation at the ending. But not much happens except tomb robbing going wrong.

Another entry in the candle in the tomb / muye series. I dunno... i didn't like this one at all. Mostly because I was just annoyed by the female in this one, and because they ofc needed to added romantic interest bullshit again. The rest was pretty storyless, the tomb or the monsters weren't anything special. Just meh.

This one was surprisingly good! Even tho a lot of the story got lost in the AI translation of the subs, but it's about some japanese archaelogical team, that searched for a tomb, they failed and now the chinese army is searching for it in the name of the japanese emperor to get uh ... their fighting power in the war (or something like that).

There was a nice amount of bromance in this, the female lead is REALLY nice for once, she can fight and isn't only there for the purpose of getting in problems. of course there's an underlying romance hinted, but .. it's okay-ish. But it's obviously just the start of a longer movie-series, because the ending is obviously just the start of more. (oh yeah, and there isn't much tomb robbing in this one, i guess that will hopefully happen in the 2nd movie)

Let's be honest. This is Tomb Raider in Chinese searching for her missing father. BUT! It is REALLY funny! She's actually quite in the "manly" role and the male main char is quite "female", because he's always making stupid jokes and get in trouble, while she is stoic. I really had a fun time with this. It has one or two sexiest jokes, which are *eye roll*. Oh and there is a really cool tomb in this one, and the monster design is quite nice.

This one is really bad, sadly. It's about a yougn men, who needs to find the golden city to rescue his girlfriend, who got poisoned by the bad guys (somewhere at the beginning of the film, no idea). And ofc the bad guys are searching for immortality. And on the way he finds his father, who got lost on the first expedition and i really have no idea.

It's a weird mix of tomb robbing and reading to much Jules Verne. The acting is bad, the chars are lame, the girlfriend is a western girl, which means they're talking english BADLY lipsynced. Oh the ending is horribly bad, like... bad.

The only really, REALLY cool thing, are the monsters. The visual effects of them are awesome, really, really good monster design.

You need to watch Grave Keeper: Track of Lord before this movie, otherwise you won't understand jackshit about the relationships between the characters.

But even without the (actually really good) first movie, this one was just bad through and through. There was no grave robbing or anything. it was a political scheming shitshow between several groups. The romance from the first movie got heavily pushed into focus in this one, which was annoying too. And it was overall just really boring. Don't bother watching it.

THIS IS SO DAMN GOOD! There's so much tomb robbing action, the three main leads are so good as a trio, the story is great, there is no damn romance. The whole story and the plottwists are so good, like boi. It's even a ten without my fujo heart being happy, because really. This is so good.
