    1. The Good Bad Mother

    Korean Drama - 2023, 14 episodes

This kdrama really did it for me. I kinda knew what the storyline was about but I was shocked when revenge was a part of the storyline, I love revenge. My love for Dohyun is indescribable, I just love him so much. Based from his other work, his role in this kdrama has to be one of my favorites. It was also a lot of lovely actors in this one that played interesting and funny characters that is hard to forget. This series has it all, it is emotional yet warms your heart.

The thing I like about this kdrama, is that it is bringing light over a dark time in the korean history. At some times it was very disturbing to watch when you think about what the storyline is inspired by. This kdrama  is different but I like it. Loved seeing Sohee on the screen again. Can't wait for season 2 to be released.

I don't know why I didn't start watching this kdrama earlier. First of all, I love the concept / storyline and the fact that it have so many familiar / famous actors in it as well really made it for me. I really liked the quality and production of this series. It was always something happening and it was hard to take a break from it . A darker seires that filled me with so many emotions. I have to rewatch this one for sure.

  • The Bequeathed

    4. The Bequeathed

I was very exciting about this one as I was reading the storyline and watched the trailer. A thriller / mystery series that is very dark, my cup of tea. It also have many great actors and especially Heesoon that I really love.  I guess I hyped up this kdrama for myself because I ended up kinda disappointed. This kdrama was a more slow paced thriller but I wished I was more intrigued about what was happening throughout the series. I wished I got like the "woahh" feeling when we knew who the murderer was and the backstory of the female leads family but unfortunately I didn't hit me like I wanted. Wasn't very happy about the ending either.

  • A Killer Paradox

    5. A Killer Paradox

    Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes

Compared to the kdramas I have watched, this one is more of the "different" type. I like the genre and the cinematography but I wished it was more thrilling and had more suspense . It was kinda hard to finish this one, a little slow at my taste and wasn't exciting enough but I watched it because of the concept and Sukku.

    7. Chicken Nugget

I read about the storyline last year and I thought "what on earth is this".  So glad it finally came out. I didn't really know what to expect when I started watching this series. I just have to say that this series was a breath of fresh air. Very different and at times strange but also very funny. + Amazing actors are in it as well.

The series started very strong for me, really enjoyed the first 3 episodes. I kinda felt that I lost a bit of the interest that I got at the beginning of the series in the middle and towards the end of the series.  I had a wish that they would find a solution and that she would become a human in the end. I was a bit disappointed with how the series ended. But all in all a unique and different story that I'm glad I checked out.

  • Doctor Slump

    8. Doctor Slump

    Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes

    8.5

    ✧ Watched in February -  March 2024 ✧

I started watching this mainly because of Shinhye and Hyungsik and their reunion since The Heirs. I'm also at a place in my life where I feel lost, so this series related a lot to what I'm going through.

Many touching and beautiful moments/ scenes throughout the series and lovely characters were in it too. Seeing two people who are in a difficult place in life and how they support each other in the darkest of times made me relate with them in different ways. I enjoyed the series but to a point it got a little boring. After episode 11 I felt that the storyline dragged out and it would have been better if the series were shortened by a few episodes.

  • Marry My Husband

    9. Marry My Husband

    Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes

    8.5

    ✧ Watched in February -  March 2024 ✧

Considering that the series was very well received by so many people and that the series is about revenge which is a theme I really like, I decided to check this one out.

Episode 1 started very strong for me, it was very dark and you really got sympathy for the main female character. I really couldn't stand her husband and her "best friend" who also made it difficult for me to continue watching the series, but that says a lot about how good the actors were when you think about it.

I liked how the main female character took revenge with different people and how she changed the original story. I don't know why, but it wasn't all that interesting to me, I wish her final revenge with her "best friend" had more impact and I think Boa's character ruined a lot for me. All in all, a decent series.

  • Parasyte: The Grey

    10. Parasyte: The Grey

    Korean Drama - 2024, 6 episodes

    8.5

    ✧ Watched in April 2024 ✧

I was very interested in checking this one out considering the story and since I really liked sweet home, I thought I would like this one too. We also have Kyohwan in this series, who is a wonderful actor who I really liked in D.P. and he did not fail to impress here either.

I was a little unsure of what I thought of the series after watching 2 episodes, but when I got halfway through and to the end of the series, I have to say that I enjoyed this one. I liked the flow of the series and it wasn't too slow, things were happening all the time. I was very curious how this series would end considering so few episodes and if you get a nice ending but i think there will be a part two. Very exciting to see how the story will end.

  • Goodbye Earth

    12. Goodbye Earth

    Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

    ✧ Watched in April -  May 2024 ✧

I had high hopes on this one. Expected an action survival thriller / doomsday kinda series but it was more a slow slice of life series. I understand that we get introduced to a lot of characters based on the storyline but it was just too many of them. The result of this is not getting connected to them on a deeper level and you end up not having any form of emotions towards them.

So many different things happening to the story that was not interesting watching either. And all the timeline jumps back and forth just adds confusion. At least in the flashbacks in the 4 first episodes was more of what I though the series would be about, chaos, demonstrations etc. They could just have started the series with that instead of put those scenes as flashbacks.

Strange that this seires had a lot of focus on child trafficking and getting revenge even at the last minutes of the last episode. Was a little bit unnecessary when the focus could be other things. It was difficult to complete this so ended up skipping through the 4 last episodes.

Other than that I liked a lot of the characters and the actors did a really great job.
