drama watched in 2021

this surprised me with how good this was! our female lead never had a major makeover but she managed to grow, mature and love herself in the end! i'm going to miss this little drama for sure!

I have been looking forward to this drama ever since they announced it! i mean look at the cast!! A++++ cast.... so, the cast was superb, everyone of them gave their best acting! the plot was good but some characters did some dumb moves!!! and most of the time esp during the first half i was yelling wear GLOVES&MASKS/HELMETSSSS!!! don't touch anything recklessly... anyway despite that the drama kept me interested until the end! but the end was the weakest part of the drama and i'll leave it at that!

going into this knowing fully how this will go having watched the american remake  i have to say this was good! ksh protrayed hyunsoo very well, the pain the fear the frustration the confusing the guilt the stress the breaking point and everything!! i was waiting forever though for him to shave that mushroom hair and they did the bare minimum in the end by trimming it only!!!!!!!!!! his hair was ugly... also we should've seen more of him being corrupted getting more tattoos and such.........

going with low expectations and i was pleasantly surprised i just wish the girls were given more happy times, they just throw hurdles at them one after another without having time to breath...... loved the osts! and the chemistry between jenna&ceo. cha was fire, and i loved their dynamic whatever it was!!

another boring and dull show which i went into with high expectations and was utterly disappointed.... given the people behind this one writer&director one would think we will have something good and memorable and engaging but sadly the show lost me...... such a waste of this cast and crew............. the osts were nice though

fun quirky show that deserved more than love than it got!! fun dynamic between our leads, sort of like a cat and a mouse!! great acting from all the cast esp kjh!! such a young talent.. the osts were fun and matched the vibe of the drama...

one of the good dramas this year! very compelling storyline and cast... and we have one suppoting and there for each other otp which was nice to watch... the only downside to it is most of the residents of that building were trash people and deserves the worst!!!

such a bad dull drama! one would think with this cast we are in for something good but the final product was boring and dull! such a waste of time....

the trio friendship was truly something!! they seems so opposites and so different from each other but they click together nicely!! loved seeing them supporting each other when needed!! the cast had a great chemistry too!!!

i was excited for this for a very long time only to be utterly disappointed!! it was so underwhelming, the two cults where so unnecessary esp the headarrow one BLEGH........ we never get to see them trying to figure these monsters or why these people really got the decree and why some get it so early and others just 30seconds before their death.......... and most of the deaths felt staged :////

i thought i would be in for something cute and fluff, while it was to a certain degree, the amount of insufferable characters which was like the majority of the characters was TOO MUCH!!!! the lead otp was cute.

great and enjoybale journey of these characters. they felt like people! the acting was good and the chemistry between the cast was sooo good!! love the overall feel good vibe this gave me!

an action packed drama, the whole drama was carried by mingoong nim, his acting was superb!!!!! but it was killed by the overuse of plot twists one after another with no breather.... the osts were great!!

such a great rom-com, the way i loved this town and it's people, the town community is really lovable, there for each other and support each other... so heartwarming! great osts!

as a horror drama this drama truly delivered what it was aiming for... the creepy atmosphere and all the drakness and lets not forget PAK IL DOOOOOO!! truly an amazing thrilling experience! the main trio were awesome and ones you could root for... the osts were sooooo good to set the mood!

good and entertaining  drama that kept me hooked! the characters were good while i find the male lead a good character i wasn't able to root for him... i wish they fleshed these characters more before killing them, as it was always clear who's the last winner will be........

an end to an era, it's such a shame how bad this one turns out to be.... it was such a MESS!!! lots of it didn't make sense, and the ending was bad like really bad.............. and some plots *re-writing history* were used just to give certain characters development when they should've kept it as it is!!! and ssr being out-smarted by csj????? the seokhoon/rona breakup was so unnecessary because it never really adressed the guilt the boy was feeling and was reduced to be a link between a mother/daughter??? and logan should've stayed dead!  the only good thing about this season was THE.TINY.QUEEN.RONA!!! and the seokhoon/rona being the endgame that they deserved since long time ago!

one have to save themselves and skip this one all together... it was bad, the female lead was too clingy, and the reason for the breakup was rubbish!! the only good thing about this one is the scenery and jeju island and that's IT!

the drama was dark and brutel, but can easily be shorten more into a 2-hours movie, as the story only really started at the last two episodes! the actors did a good job and the drama theme colors was very preTTY!!!

i wanted it to go much more deeper and darker.. but it kept being a light one.. the twist at the end was nice....

a very light cute short jdrama, the otp was sooo cute and the whole cast was lovable!! tendo-sensei was so swoon worthy, i would be the same as sakura-chan!

cute, light and had fluffy moments... it did shed some lights on the kpop industry and how ugly it can get but in a light sort of way.. i'm gonna miss the characters they were adorable, and the songs were catchy!

this was a fun ride from start to finish, enemies to lovers done right were it took time for the otp to develop their feelings towrds each other, the friends of the fl were THE.WORST!! and the ml childhood friend was no weight down on the ml, the osts of the drama were quite nice and catchy.

cute, light and fluffy, with not so much drama.. although i do wish they developed the triangle or at least the 2nd lead much better because he was just a plot device a conflict when he could've been his own person to make the love triangle much more interesting.. the 2nd otp were way too cute they stole the show for me!!

i loved the cast, and it started strong and promising, but i lost some of my interest in the middle, still decent drama that was carried by the cast chemistry! it had a great osts, and the cinematography was amazing on this one!

this drama had its cute and fluffy moments, but weirdly enough i think it would've been much better with a love triangle and without the second female lead, it would've been fun to see geunyoung connect with hoojoon as she's living and getting to know him better and also connecting with jj over their mutual hate/disliking hoojoon, see that's much better than what we've got and totally plausible plot....

such a heartbreaking drama for one that gave me the butterflies at the beginning.. the ending was way too cruel.. and the fact the events was based on true story -the gwangju uprising- made it very heart wrenching and heart breaking..

the best 2021 korean drama so far!! it's so heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. the journey of the lead and the emotions they carried with the them... everything was perfect in this one!!!!

cute and a very light cdrama, took me almost 2months to finish not because it was bad but because there were really nothing happening in the drama, it was fun watching the two liking each other and seeing the ml trying to confess his feelings for her in many ways and each one of them fails badly..

I think I am of those few people who watched this casually, sadly i didn't care that much about the charaters to be invested in them.. i found myself either watching half asleep or skipping scenes... but i did love the first few episodes they were fun and all but after a few episodes i just lost my interest!! but the acting and the cast did a great job here.....

one of the best and warmest dramas of 2021! such a ride from the start to the end.. the relationship between deokchul/chaerok was so heartwarming!! i want more dramas like this one...

one of the cutest and lightest dramas in 2021. it had such a positive massage about loving, embracing and valuing yourself, you're your best ally and should always believe in yourself.. the romance was actually a subplot in this one and not the focus of the drama.

just as good as the first season, with so many twists and turns.. happy that my favorite ones made out alive!! the acting is top notch!

such a big disappointment.. can't believe i waited almost 2 years for this trainwreck!!! still furious about it... very depressing and soulless sequel! and that ugly white/grey filter making everyone looking like a vampire didn't help either...

where do i start with this one, lets see the main reason i picked up this drama because it was a short one 12 episodes which means 6 weeks and it'll be done... the thing is everytime i start watching an episodes i fall a sleep after 10-15 minutes or so only to wake up in the last 10 minutes, and i didn't even bothered to check what i missed in the middle. i guess this was bad enough for me. but i did like the ost in this one that might be the only good thing about it ..

while it's cute and short it's missing lots of the original charm of the cdrama, and while watching it i couldn't help but comparing the two in the back of my mind given how i finished the cdrama recently. watchable for all the fluffiness and cuteness this could bring!

what a trainwreck of a drama. i thought with this cast and director and the pretty cinemagraphy i would get something good, but nope this was a disaster, very unlikable leads to the point of rooting for them NOT to reunite. there's a cute couple but ugh i could get the point of their ending sigh......

this dram was more like 4 movies, each woman had her own story and the stories got a bit darker as you go on. good drama overall.

the drama that could've been much better if it hadn't fallen in its later episodes. i was in for the feel good enjoying how tropey this was. but they went and ruind some characters and then the unnecessery time jump in the end just UGH!!!

one of those dramas where in went in blindly and i was pleasntly surprised! this such a gem drama. it had lightness, warm and healing feels to it. perfect rom-com slice of life drama. loved all the 4 main characters and supporting ones too. words can't descripe this little gem. it deserve all the love it can get.

it's a cute 30minutes webdrama and that's it.

one of those drama where i skipped lots of the unnecessary plots, i wasn't here for the cheating husband or the 2nd female lead nor the lousy detectives i was here for yeojo and her assistant and her nanny ahjumma! and i was able to get the whole picture. the ending is open for interruption , and in my headcanon she faked it and divorced him and then went with suho with her ahjumma solving crimes and writing novels!! anyway great acting by the cast. it can be fun if you're in the mood for it.

i wasn't planning to check this one because this was an ocn drama giving how lots of their drama are dark with not much lightness in them, but seeing it was in netflix (and netflix is fast when it comes to subbing and uploading dramas) i was like i'm gonna check the first episode (for sejoeong) and see if i liked it i'll continue my watching. and i was hooked from the get-go! such a great drama from the start to the end, this one felt like a shounen live action drama done so RIGHT!!!! great cast and the chemistry with our founded family was so amazing. each character have their moments to shine.  the drama blended the lightness and darkness very well. 

i mainly picked this one for kim youngdae and i found it cute and short friends to lovers webdrama, it's mainly an ad for a face mask. it had it cute moments. 

one of those dramas i picked up randomly, it's crazy over-the-top makjang, you'll most likely almost hate everyone, but you'll find some characters you will root for only to be betrayed by some of them ://  the drama was able to get me hooked from the start the end. and that little romance plot between seokhoon/rona i want more of it in the second season and no more deleted scenes between them! the drama had an amazing cast the managed to make me hate or love them. looking forward to s2!

this can be cute and adorable, but it had a rough start, and also we a role reversal here with cold female lead and cling and bubbly male lead. the strength of this drama comes from the friendship. the downside is it had some useless fillers and the last few episodes were wasted in plot no one asked for. and my poor kyungwoo/minji heart will forever be broken ?..... there's no real ending here!
