My REGRETS: shows I completed BUT WISH I DIDN'T
NEVER AGAIN ! I said it. (Sorry not sorry)
Here's a personal list of Asian dramas I watched and forced myself to COMPLETELY finish (probably because, as an eternally optimistic, I still hoped it would get better at one point or another -but sadly never did.
Do I regret watching them ? Just a little, for some. A LOT, for others !
These dramas tested my (extreme) patience but I've lived to tell. That's positive, right ? Right ???

See my full review here: Love Me, Love My Voice Review (Chinese Drama 2023) | Ariane - MyDramaListThe premise was genuinely engaging and the first 3–4 episodes were enjoyable.
Then, what began as a cute, quiet slice‑of‑life romance quickly turned into something oversweet, repetitive, and almost aggressively conflict‑free.
Ironically, that’s exactly when the story lost whatever charm it had.
For me, the lack of nuance, the absence of character development, the overly sanitized tone (borderline propaganda‑like), and the (over)sweetness made it a genuine struggle to finish.
In the end, the sweetest thing about this drama was the relief I felt when it ended.
