-
1. The Untamed
Chinese Drama - 2019, 50 episodes
A story that shows the world is not black and white yet there is right and wrong.
From the poetic dialogue to the stirring OST to the splendid cinematography, every aspect of the drama captured my attention and stirred my emotions.
Most of all, it is the story that moved me completely. A story of courage to do the right thing, to help others, to take responsibility, to face the worst in oneself yet persevere to be the best one can be.

21. You're Beautiful
Korean Drama - 2009, 16 episodes
This gets a nostalgia boost in its score because it is the drama that sent me totally off into kdrama addiction.
Where it excels is that it takes a wacky and unbelievable premise and then tells a story full of heart, showing the audience that love and caring between people -- whether as friends, lovers, family, or coworkers -- is what makes relationships possible and beautiful.
Filled with pop culture references, it is and ode to its times.
