  • Love and Redemption

    1. Love and Redemption

    Chinese Drama - 2020, 59 episodes

    9.0

The best! I was addicted from beginning to end! Such a good storyline, I truly loved it! The only reason this is not on my favorites is because the female lead made me so mad lol! She didn’t deserve the male lead at all! But I truly loved this drama!

  • The Romance of Tiger and Rose

    2. The Romance of Tiger and Rose

    Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes

    8.5

This was honestly so good! The right combination of chemistry, comedy and drama. This has spoiled other transmigration dramas for me, because they just can't compare. Zhao Lusi is too good in this type of role and of course coupled with her awesome chemistry with the male lead!Towards the end though her character began to annoy me with her schemes and I actually ended up dropping this even though I'd loved it so much in the beginning. I ultimately pushed through and finished but alas that accounts for the score!

  • Sound of the Desert

    3. Sound of the Desert

    Chinese Drama - 2014, 35 episodes

Watched this years ago but it’s honestly so nostalgic for me! The soundtrack is amazing, I never remember soundtracks but this one was so good! Also, after second rewatch the female lead was infuriating! However, this drama was still addicting. Also, Eddie Peng that is all!

  • The Smile Has Left Your Eyes

    4. The Smile Has Left Your Eyes

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    8.5

The ANGST! Truly this is tragedy done right. The masochoist in me loved this. One of my favorite angsty dramas it had everything. Its no wonder this is based on a Japanese remake because they know how to do angst and messed up story lines! The leads chemistry was sizzling and the character of Moo Young had me by the throat! The only unfortunate thing is that I really wished they had followed through with Moo Youngs character in the early episodes it would've made things more interesting. The character switch that he got just made his actions in later episode so out of character and didn't really work for me. Not a minor quibble but I loved this so much. Hence why its in my "likes".

  • 100 Days My Prince

    5. 100 Days My Prince

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    8.5

Sageuks are not my thing unfortunately. I just don't find them interesting, and a little repetitive maybe I need to do another deep dive into the genre to suss out some gems? However, I really enjoyed this. The humor was my style and the romance was beautifully done. However, the palace/ court intrigue was so uninteresting to me I skipped it to death lol (sorry han sohee).

  • 35sai no Shoujo

    6. 35sai no Shoujo

    Japanese Drama - 2020, 10 episodes

This made me cry and was just so heartfelt, and heart warming. I loved the concept of this show and the lessons learned. It was truly amazing. I also loved the portrayal of the romance between the leads. It was very realistic. And Sakaguchi Kentaro that is all. Oh I love Shibaski Ko she always picks really good roles!

  • The King's Woman

    7. The King's Woman

    Chinese Drama - 2017, 48 episodes

    8.5

The best toxic love story there every was? But seriously the King had red flags all over him; traumatic childhood, daddy issues, mommy issues, trust issues the list goes on. Can he truly love and know what love is? I really enjoyed this. Bin Bin is just a wonder to behold lol he's in his bag as the King the epitome of manliness. Sorry, I fell in love lol. There were parts that dragged but it was enjoyable. Had to watch after Eternal Love loved Bin Bin so much in that.

  • My Roommate Is a Gumiho

    8. My Roommate Is a Gumiho

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    9.5

I'm not a rom-com gal usually and I was going in this with some preconceptions. Opinion's on Hyeri's and Jang Ki Youngs acting is divisive to say the least. However, I was truly surprised how much I liked this evry week. The chemistry between the leads was so good! The story was mediocre at best, I mean how many times has the gumiho storyline been done in dramaland. However, the chemistry blinded me and sailed me all the way to the finale.

  • When the Weather Is Fine

    9. When the Weather Is Fine

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

  • Yumi's Cells

    10. Yumi's Cells

    Korean Drama - 2021, 14 episodes

    9.0

There's something comforting about Yumi and Yumi's cells. I feel such a comforting feeling from this drama. I really loved the cells although it did take me a few episodes to warm up to them however once I did, I was sold. I loved how realistic their relationship was and the insight wegot into the different characters emotions and thought processes through their cells.

  • Age of Youth

    11. Age of Youth

    Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes

    9.0

This is a big favorite of mine. I watched it years ago but I've never forgot how much I loved this drama. I loved the college landscape. The cast and their chemistry was amazing and this show introduced me to so many new faces. Hello, "chef" (die hard Yoon Park fan now when they gone give my man a lead role), Han Ye Ri, Park Eun Bin to name a few! Truly loved this, upon rewatch this may get moved to my "loves" list!

  • Lipstick

    12. Lipstick

    Japanese Drama - 1999, 12 episodes

  • Twenty-Five Twenty-One

    13. Twenty-Five Twenty-One

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

Okay, this story is just so so good. Made me feel like how the Reply series made me feel; nostalgic, longing for my youth. First the friendships in this drama was just so good! Also, I loved the relationship between Baek Ye Jin and Na Hee Do. Some of the lines they say to each other in this series is just too beautiful. Their relationship was beautiful, pure, heart warming!  Wow Kim Taeri she was incredible she WAS Na Hee Do she's such a good actress (this is the first thing I've ever watched of her btw, I'm a fan now) However, even though I loved this immensely it had a lot of issues from the pacing of the drama, chacterization issues, the ending (which was terrible and it didn't stay true to this beautiful relationship). Now, I'm a sucker for realistic endings,  I never need my endings to be happy but I need them to make sense, did the script writer understand her own characters, the casting for older Na Hee Do was just so bad I skipped all her scenes. Lastly, did Baek Yejin have no friends his age? Did he never meet girls his age like this was weird lol. But yeah this had the recipe to be my life time favorite but it had too many bad ingredients. However, I loved so many aspects of this its being rated 9!

  • All of Us Are Dead

    14. All of Us Are Dead

    Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    8.5

Wow, me liking a zombie story this much? Maybe its because I watched it while I was recovering from a back injury? This was just really good setting a zombie movie in a high school is just arecipe for drama why has no-one thought of this before lol? I loved the the exploration into what makes us human & friendship, love and loyalty it was just too juicy. I will say that they did not need 12 episodes 8 episodes would've sufficed and made for a tighter script. Because it began to draggggg. However, the early episodes were masterly done and had me at the edge of seat! And they wrapped it up nicely at the end! Season 2! I'm excited, enjoyed this more than squid games!
