Top Kdramas of the 2010

One of the best meta romances I've seen, and also one of the best high school romances. It has so much clever details, and such a touching main couple. So, so good. Also, Roo Won. 

Sadly this is the last big budget show of the legendary writer Song Ji Na who stopped writing dramas after The King in Love. This is one of her best work with a stellar cast and gripping writing. Maybe one day Song Ji Na will write again, hopefully...

A very bittersweet romance that you need to be in the right kind of mood to appreciate. Like a lot of shows that gets their hero to time travel, this is about redemption. 

Huh, I have a weakness for fauxcest and this is a festival of really toxic but also fascinating and gripping tropes around fake siblings. In this case he is also a swindler, and she is a blind heiress who doesn't know who is really on her side, so it's all the more intense. Production is gorgeous. I just don't like what they did with the ending, I find it too confusing. 

This is a Kdrama that came in my life at the exact right moment. I'm not sure it has aged well but the struggles of the heroes are timeless. 

My favorite drama of all time, a big Joseon romantic tragedy. A masterpiece of writing, directing, and even if the cast is a bit uneven, acting.
