Surpasses the majority of global fantasy dramas in terms of world and character building. Insanely creative.

This drama tried to be many things at once, but sadly failed at each one. The concept was interesting but the script needed to be refined further.

As far as mystery/thrillers go, this one was one of the best dramas in this genre I've watched in a while, and  it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. The actors were also absolutely brilliant. 

Perfect blend of mystery and romance. 

Solid and enjoyable watch. There were some issues, mainly the pacing (which I experience in most Chinese drama, I think due to the longer format with most having 30+ episodes) and the development of  characters throughout, where I did not see significant changes. However, I still recommend.

A truly unique story, brought to life by brilliant actors. No cheesy, childish acting. By far the best Chinese drama I've watched thus far. 

Fun, addictive watch. Seriously underrated.

Heartwarming slice of life type drama. However, was expecting to love it more.

ABH's performance made this drama ten times better.

Starting off with the good..fast-paced watch with likeable female lead. As for the bad stuff, I found the male lead fickle, unlikeable and dishonest. Her best friend was also very disloyal. I'm not usually rooting for the SML but I wanted them to end up together so much in this drama. They were perfect for each other.

A heartfelt story with a lot of soul.

Beautiful story. The acting was also superb. My first real hit of 2026 releases.

Started out so good..arghhh but it went downhill with each episode. The main leads were extremely two-dimensional and difficult to relate to and understand. The acting also felt stiff. It's a pity. 

Would have been a hit in 2017, but in 2026 it feels a bit outdated. Wasted potential of both leads who are pretty good actors.

Engaging story, and the ML's are great actors. What truly tainted this drama was the SFL's performance. She simply cannot act and it is shocking that she is getting such big roles, when there are much better actors out there who have to be satisfied with guest appearances. 

I didn't hate the FL as much as most people did but by mid-way through, her actions (or lack thereof) were annoying and frustrating. The love triangle was unnecessary, or at least it should have ended much earlier on.

Quite boring and the FL is unlikeable and very hard to relate to.

Binge-worthy drama. I couldn't stop watching. The chemistry between the leads was also really good in my opinion.

Fun, but the relationship between the two leads was not given the attention it deserved.

Way darker than expected. 

Took me longer than I care to admit to understand the back story (lol), but eventually I got it. It was a deeply emotional story. Wished it was longer.

Confusing at times and in my opinion we did not get enough back story on the characters, so in the end they felt a bit two-dimensional.

Am I the only one who had high expectations for this? The budget (assuming) = huge, locations = beautiful, wardrobe = to die for, actors = top, story = ... needed more work.

Great acting from PJY (as per usual), however the story dragged a little and seemed to be missing something.

Grinning and giddy with excitement while watching each episode. They don't make 'em like this anymore, do they?

Fun, quick watch.

First Japanese drama of the year and it was cute.

Very fast paced and action packed. Also, Kim Young Kwang as Moon Baek...my goodness.

While my rating for this drama is pretty high and I genuinely enjoyed this drama, I do admit that considering the buzz around this, lead actors and massive budget, the script was overall very basic. There was potential for a better story.

What a fun ride! All leads were incredible as well. Loved it.

It took me a while to finish this, not because it was not beautiful, but it was so heavy. With each episode, I felt like I needed some time to think.

Tugs at your heart strings and action-packed. Rare combo. To all the people bringing up the problematic original source material: Did this have those problems? Let's focus on real problems.

My interest in this drama felt like a roller coaster of sorts. It slowly grew on me in the beginning but started to lose me in the last third. It had potential, but some of the characters' behaviour did not make much sense.

Kinda silly writing at times and I was not a fan of how the FL was portrayed, but Kim Young Kwang did his best with the script he was given.

Such a beautiful, painful story. The flow was slow but I still binged this over the weekend. Goes to show.

Solid thriller. Also, based on the comments section I now know I have become completely desensitised.
