Asian Movies watched in 2021

I really love this movie, the storyline, the plot, cinematography, music scoring and of course the acting of the actors. It has beautiful love story that make you cry and then contemplating. I love the reason why the present scene is in black and white color. A lot of heartwarming scene too, this movie present realistic story and also meaningful. I can relate on so many point on this movie, especially the feeling and condition on missing someone.

I hope everyone that watch this movie can be brave to show our love to precious one, including family, lover, and friends.

This movie really deserves an Oscars nomination. Raise important issues with good story execution too. Zhou Dongyu said she was stressed out having to play a 17-year-old teenager at the age of 27 at the time, but her acting was so great. She really success on potraying high school student who have to endure bullying.  I can feel her emotion, her crying make us sad too. Director Derek Tsang himself also said that Zhou Dongyu had the ability to act in tears that touched other people and this what we can see on "Better Days". The bullying scene is also suffocating and for those who are easily triggered, please be careful, watch it on caution.

For Jackson Yee who get the first main role on movie also managed to carry out his role well. The make-up team also deserves an appreciation for contributing on bringing the characters of Xiao Bei and Chen Nian  to life.

It's also interesting to know there are several alternative endings and why they finally decided to use the ending in the film. I love that they decided to give hope in this film. This film also mark second time collaboration between the directors, Derek Tsang and Zhou Dongyu. Of course another success collaboration

Watching this  is really like we follow our see someone's life, the journey that not easy, adulting, up and down. All the sad things happened make me heartbreaking too till the ending can't cover those event.
