  • I Feel You Linger in the Air: Uncut Version

    1. I Feel You Linger in the Air: Uncut Version

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    9.5

OH MY GOD what a BEAUTIFUL series!!!!!

I’m genuinely so in love with this drama. After Interminable (BillyBabe), this is easily my second favorite Thai period drama because WOW… the atmosphere alone had me completely enchanted.

Everything about it feels soft, emotional, and almost dreamlike. The cinematography, the OST, the romance, the historical setting — it all comes together so beautifully. And the whole “time travel + destined souls” concept??? Yeah… that trope owns me completely. It scratches something in my brain every single time, and this drama did it so well.

The relationship between Jom and Yai felt so emotional and sincere that I got attached ridiculously fast. Their love story has this quiet tenderness to it that makes every moment between them feel meaningful.

BUT… I need to complain about the ending because I’m still bitter... The one thing I truly hated is that they basically don’t end up together.

I genuinely thought the story was building toward Yai reincarnating and finally getting to live his love story with Jom in 2023, especially since Jom was the one from the future and had to returned to his own time. I was SO ready for that emotional payoff.

But no... Instead of reincarnated Yai, they bring back the Yai from the past… which immediately made me realize: wait, doesn’t this mean they’re going to be separated AGAIN eventually???

So yeah, I absolutely hated that part because after everything they went through, I desperately wanted them to finally get a real future together.

BUT aside from my ending trauma… I truly adored this series. It's so damn beautiful, emotional, immersive, and one of the most magical Thai period dramas I’ve watched. I just wish love had won a little more in the end T_T

    2. Wishing upon the Shooting Stars

    Taiwanese Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

    I absolutely LOVED this series!!!!!!

Maybe it's because I'm incredibly weak for beach settings, summer aesthetics, sunsets, ocean views, and romances that feel warm and nostalgic... but this drama had me hooked from start to finish.

There's just something so comforting about the atmosphere. Even when the story dives into heavier drama, misunderstandings, and emotional twists, it never loses that casual, feel-good energy that makes you want to stay in its world a little longer.

I won't lie though — the beginning had me worried... Around episode 3, I was genuinely sitting there wondering if all the anticipation had been worth it.

I had been looking forward to this drama ever since it was announced, so my expectations were pretty high. For a moment, I thought maybe I had overhyped it in my head. AND THANK GOD I WAS WRONG T_T Because once the story found its rhythm, I was completely invested.

The characters became so easy to root for, the emotional moments started hitting harder, and the relationships developed in a way that kept me engaged the entire time.

And can we talk about the chemistry??? Because OH. MY. GOD. Both couples delivered SO MUCH chemistry. Every romantic scene felt natural, every emotional moment landed perfectly, and the intimacy between them felt genuine and beautifully portrayed.

And those NC scenes??? EXCUSE ME???

Seriously, some of the most beautifully shot and emotionally charged scenes in the entire series. They weren't just there for shock value — they actually enhanced the relationships and showcased how comfortable and connected the couples had become. That's exactly the kind of intimacy I love seeing in BLs: meaningful, emotional, and overflowing with chemistry.

  • Double Helix

    3. Double Helix

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

    9.0

FINALLY a dark romance that actually understands what makes dark romance interesting!!!!

What I loved most about this series is that it doesn't try to convince us that one character is completely right and the other is completely wrong.

They're both toxic. Just in very different ways.

Lu Feng is the obvious one. The possessiveness, the obsession, the intensity, the willingness to burn down his entire life for the person he loves... he's a walking red flag and the series never pretends otherwise.

We need to talk about Ayden's performance because WOW... WOW!!! What an incredible portrayal. He managed to bring so much depth to Lu Feng, every scene felt charged with emotion, whether I wanted to hug him or shake him by the shoulders.

But what surprised me most was Xiao Cheng. Because his toxic trait isn't loud. It's subtle. It's the fact that no matter how much Lu Feng sacrificed for him, Xiao Cheng never truly chose him first. He never prioritized their relationship and that's what made their dynamic so frustrating and addictive to watch.

What makes the story work so well is that neither of them is innocent. Neither of them is easy to defend (specially Lu Feng. Damn, the man did some shitty things). Yet somehow you still find yourself rooting for them, and that's the beauty of dark romance.

Now, Xiao Cheng's brother? I swear, every time he appeared on screen, I prepared myself for another unnecessary tantrum. At some point he stopped feeling like a protective brother and started feeling like an overgrown child throwing a fit whenever things didn't go his way.

I also felt the need for more details about his relationship with Qin Lang, they were a very underutilized couple.

Beyond the romance itself, I also loved how addictive the overall story became. Every episode felt like it was building toward something bigger. The tension kept escalating, the emotional stakes kept growing, and the series constantly made me want to watch just one more episode.

  • You Are Mine

    4. You Are Mine

    Taiwanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    9.0

"I like the way you say good morning..." *SCREAM INTERNALY*

Taiwan really knows how to serve YEARNING and this series is proof of that!!

Honestly, You Are Mine is the pure definition of yearning done right. The longing, the pining, the stolen glances, the tension... it's all so ridiculously satisfying to watch that it easily became one of my favorite comfort BLs.

The plot itself is fairly simple, and there are definitely moments where the story feels a little messy. I also wish they had explored Shanzhou's childhood kidnapping more because it felt like such an important part of his character that never received the attention it deserved.

The communication issues between the leads also created some drama that felt a bit unnecessary at times. It wasn't enough to ruin the story, but it definitely wasn't my favorite part either. But honestly? I was having too much fun watching these two pine after each other to care, because that's where this series shines.

The chemistry is fantastic, the emotional tension is delicious, and every little moment between Shunyu and Shanzhou had me smiling like an idiot.

And can we please appreciate Shunyu standing his ground against Shanzhou's mother? Because that was a 10/10 moment for me. No unnecessary groveling, no instantly backing down, no letting other people decide the fate of his relationship. We love a man with a backbone ?

The ending was also incredibly sweet and left me with exactly the kind of warm feeling I want from a romance.
