I would recommend these series

+ Sci-fi, time-loop, social commentary, Bai Jing Ting.

- Kindddaa rush the ending (but still singular).

+ Sci-fi, time-loop, action, social commentary, Guangdong setting, pop cultural references, Song Yang and Bai Jing Ting.

- With that ending, I need season 2 (only if possible and capable).

+ Transmigration, comedy, romance, drama, music, casting.

- Somewhat with the costumes (but fit the transmigration genre in comics), the duo rulers (but acceptable in this story).

+ Coming-of-age school setting, social commentary, friendship, personal identity.

- Can be a bit depressing at times (but realistic, effortful and uplifting).

+ Hilarious slice-of-life/workplace/flatmate romance with strong performances from both leads and a proper storyline that puts efforts in reflecting modern China. Some smart investigation and detective work too.

- It could have explored the main characters more on who they are as individuals and people outside of their work (their interests, what they want in a relationship, etc). It feels like without their work, they have no identities, which again is reflective of the current age.

+ Historical detective cases, mystery, thriller, action, sets.

- Minor ridiculousness.

+ Comedy, gag, silly fun.

- Haven't finished (because afraid of the ending) but will.

+ Main leads, main couple, romance, sets, wide shots, food, family, costume.

- First 5-6 episodes were a chore (but picked up thereafter). Questionable writing for certain characters and plots (but always good with the main). Not so sure about the ending (but definitely conclusive). A bit icky the age gaps between most (high-ranking official) couples...
