3 lakorn dysfunctional wealthy families and the female lead's who are far more fun and colourful. Things to complain about but it's so full of love and acceptance I could never stay cross with it for long. Recommended.

They used lakorn tropes well to set up the scenario in the first episode before taking a turn into comedy and going all over the place through the rest. High fashion lesbians who haven't learned that women don't need to be rail thin to be sexy, plus cat fights, a pointless jealousy plot not in the novel and various other things I try to avoid in straight women characters x 4. It is women-centred though.

Eng subs and Ch3 is making episodes available on youtube for international fans three days after they air.

Uncut with subs on IdolFactory's official YT (no subs Ch 3+). Melodrama exaggeration and lots of violence but not the pacing and lift of a good lakorn. Careens in and out of the kind of police/crime drama I'll probably always be burnt out on, but second-rate compared to European. Too stressful for me, which meant I could never stay invested in the parts I should have liked.
Finished it so I could be done with it, which is never good.

Eng subs on Ch 3+ but timing is off in ep 1; timing off ep 2 from approx 20 mins. Watchable but some of the jokes miss and group scenes can be tricky to follow. Unsubbed on YT. The sub timing issue does improve.

Mostly light lakorn, with more friendship than overt romance. It's an odd mix of serious and silly.

Subs elsewhere. Short-ish (8 x 40 mins) university GL which turns into something else, dark and sad.

Complicated impossible story well-explored. Some things I wish they'd done differently but writers and actors did a great job. My favourite was Jinny who loves as big as she whines :)

A tale of two halves. The first was my favourite lakorn of those I've seen. It became something more, with greater depth, but the transition was abrupt. It was worth continuing through a few tedious episodes.

This is such an impressive lakorn, full of heart and courage. In awe of the writing and directing to make this jam-packed complicated plot work. Highly highly recommended.

Subs on Ch 3+

Another that sets up a perfect couple early to heighten the tension when everything changes. There's some to dislike in the early episodes (manipulative father, the annoying, stupid 2nd family living in his mansion), but the couple are wholesome and lovely, seeing the best in each other. The transition episode between the parts was very well-crafted. It's just everything after. A cynical dark story that drags on and on and on.

Abusive tsundere and delulu sunshine. Episode 3 and it's just getting worse. Oh, and a physically abusive relationship too. But that one's bad ::facepalm::

Crashing a lakorn into an exaggerated rom com with sometimes inverted gender dynamics in order to maybe talk about abuse is, I don't know. I seriously don't know how much was an attempt to subvert toxic tropes and how much was embracing them. In the end it still perpetuates the dangerous myth with real life consequences that abusive men can change if a woman loves them well enough.

Anusaya says one of best of '21. Tags say supernatural and comedy. I need to find this one :)
