Actual Good MLM Series/Movies

Less so about romance and more focused on the Mother-Son relationship. But it is a good melancholy movie about a mother, son, and his secret boyfriend.

This drama is beautiful in so many ways, however it is more on the sad side. It has a happy ending but this drama will make you feel several different emotions all at once. Amazing story and acting overall. It's definitely worth the watch.

The production and acting can be a iffy at times, but the main couple has good chemistry. Also, this drama feels a bit different from the other typical romcom bls out there. Just watch it if you're bored.

Definitely one you can easily sit down and watch. The main couple is really good and the acting is fairly decent.

Just season 2 of WBL. Actually ended up being better than season 1 which surprised me considering the plot was after a time skip.

Beautiful, show stopping, never done before. Truly the blueprint and the success gmmtv wishes they could have again. It can be slow at times and there is several conflicts going on at once, but the chemistry and acting make up for it all.  Mix and Earth will always outserve.

It may be short but it's able to portray a good relationship and conflict while also resolving it well. It was just such a nice watch, so if you want something cute but also serious then check this one out. 

It's just a very relaxing and nice movie.

Definitely not sunshine and rainbows, but feels so real. It's more emotionally complex compared to the typical MLM movie or show you may be used to. It's time, setting and plot is very interesting so don't miss out on this. It's a beautiful film. 

This one portrays the innocence and pureness of first love very well. It's an easy watch.

CHECKS OFF ALL THE GOOD POINTS A SERIES NEEDS. It has a great mix of romance, comedy, and serious moments. The relationship of the main couple is one that is so endearing. It's also not only about romance, but also how the main character comes to terms with himself. While it has supernatural/magic themes in it, it oddly feels very relatable. 

Revolves around the exploration of sexuality and identity. It has more real life conflicts about sexuality and is relatable for those who have or had a hard time accepting themselves.

Can only be described by the word perfection! It is so raw, so real. The love is like a storm (far from perfect but still impactful). It portrays a special kind of relationship and feelings that those who have experienced queer teenage love for the first time would undertsnad. There are so many emotions to be felt while watching this, it's truly a roller-coaster. Also if you're a cinematography nerd then it definitely is for you.

P.S DO NOT WATCH THE SECOND SEASON (I PROMISED YOU THE MOON).

Definitely not as good as the first season but it's fun and feels a bit like filler. It also is a nice addition to the main pairs relationship, especially since some of the stuff from the first season was questionable.

This was a game changer for GMMTV for sure. It has it's flaws of course but it still is a pretty cute show. I think it's a must watch at this point.

Not a happy or wholesome story by any means. It is mature and a heavy story, but if you're into that then you will have a good time.

Angsty at times but also has it fair share of wholesome moments! A pretty good soulmates concept series.

You must put away all logic to enjoy this. The production on it is God awful but it was surprisingly a fun series to watch!

Surprisingly hit different? It's about depression, sexuality, and all that fun stuff. I think this series is a very interesting watch, though. This show doesn't have a happy ending but I still think you shouldn't let that stop you from watching this.

Funny how no Korean MLM movie has yet to beat this.

Had a duo I never would have expected together but they made it work. The show is pretty slow and the pining is real. The ending is a bit absurd as well. 

If you wanna be depressed this one is for you! It does have a happy ending, however, all you will feel is pain.

Just a cute movie you can't go wrong with.

One of the most iconic series ever, it is a MUST watch. Just ignore the side couple.....

A bit slow but it has very cute moments in it! The main actors really came through with their chemistry and you can tell everyone just had a good time filming this series. 

At first it starts off a little weird but if you stick with it you got yourself a cute little show to watch! Very tame enemies to lovers but still super cute.

I was not trying to support Mean's drama by any means but this one was too good not to miss out on. It's bittersweet yet has a good ending. I just enjoyed it for no particular reason. 

Let's be real, the message it tried to show fell short. The plot had potential but just did not give all it could have. Overall, I still did enjoy it regardless of that. I think the acting and offgun's performance saved it by far.

Genuinely such a good drama despite it being just another school drama. The chemistry between the two actors is so good and it will make you feel things. Way better than the webtoon in my opinion. Just overall so many good choices made in the production of this.

HEAR ME OUT OKAY....it def has it's issues but something about this drama hit different for me. I think it gets a little too dramatic at times but I really enjoyed the main couple. This is more so of a drama to check out when you don't have other stuff to watch.

Had a rough start but the lead up to their kiss was so so good and satisfying to watch. The acting was way better than most gmmtv dramas as well. I do not like the last few episodes but I still cannot ignore that it was a good series. 

You can tell this was adapted from a manga 100%. It is very sugary and sweet but still has some important and serious moments as well. I am not the biggest on miscomunnication used in plots but I still found it an alright watch. Just keep in mind this is another school drama and relies heavily on miscommunication multiple times to steer the plot. 

It lacks a little in the production department at times but PLEASE give it a shot, the story is very interesting and the relationship gets better with each episode.

While not necessarily a fave, I feel like this one is a must watch. The humor of it alone is worth it. Don't watch this just for good relationships and action in the plot though. At least the chemistry is good, however.

Short, sweet, and does everything right. This one is really heartwarming and I love that the characters are older in this. This one is almost perfection.
