  • Your Eyes Tell

    1. Your Eyes Tell

    Japanese Movie - 2020

    10

The acting is so well done and the story is absolutely superb. even though I already knew whatwas going to happen, I was so wound up in the actor's performance and the plot that I felt genuinely worried and afraid for the characters at the climax. My eyes definitely watered a bit during this film. If you're looking for something emotionally refreshing that ignores all the cliches and unecessary drama you see in other shows, then this is for you.

  • Double Patty

    2. Double Patty

    Korean Movie - 2021

If you're looking for a slice of life movie that is sweet, has a good ending, and has no unecessary drama, then this is the one for you. This movie is about two strangers who feel lost in life and how they're able to encourage each other to once again pursue their dreams.

  • Must You Go?

    5. Must You Go?

    Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes

This was a nice, lighthearted watch during my busy week schedule that helped me to relax a bit. The story doesn't have unecessary drama about breaking up and getting back together ten times and features a sweet relationship between the main leads. There are a few parts of the story that weren't fleshed out enough to really make any sense, such as the shaman, but it doesn't affect the main story so much. This drama is also fairly short, with about 30 minutes per episode, so it's great if you don't have a lot of time to watch something. It also has a somewhat happy ending, too.

  • Crash Landing on You

    6. Crash Landing on You

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

Wow, I seriously loved this drama! This was one I followed weekly as it released, from beginning to end, and I always looked forward to it every week. It was a really interesting and well executed story that I hadn't know I'd wanted before starting. I just wish that I'd had someone to watch it with at the time.

This was an interesting concept that incorporates supernatural elements, comedy, romance, and all comes together at the end in a way that will make you cry. A touching drama that I would definitely rewatch. I also followed this series as it was releasing and looked forward to each episode. :)
