10/10 - perfect amount of funny, mysterious and heart fluttering. i've never seen narration of thoughts/internal monologue match that acting this well before. jj is great and i think he's carrying although the other actors do a wonderful job of being so in-character to convince me of the time period. give the production/art design team a raise!!!!!

10/10 - as far as remakes go this was incredible dare i say better than the original. jinta is SUCH a loser (affectionate) i love him.

9/10 - pathetic down bad guy with a crush to lovers university bl. they perfected golden retriever x black cat. the courting and dating phases are perfect there's minimal conflict plotlines but the chemistry and nc scenes are awesome

9/10 - Such a thoughtful, compassionate, warmhearted take on mental health. I shed many tears. The complexity of the human psyche/and by extension relationships and love as the core of human existence/and by extension relationships are the themes of this show. Reminds me of these lyrics from Somebody Does Love by agust d — “Love is like the sunlight streaming in on a spring day, and like the surging rough waves of the winter sea”

8/10 - tone fluctuates between a hallmark movie and angsty coming-of-age . not enough depth in the plot or pacing for it to live up to one of the most anticipated bl of all time. i love when can feel the longing and desire of the characters through the screen but the stakes were so low i couldn't be invested. conflicts resolved themselves unsatisfyingly.

8/10 - the production alone deserves all the praise. the reincarnation fantasy historical mystery aspect is perfect.  however, i do think the main character is a bit typecast as a people pleasing pushover who has no personality outside of being a nice guy who is cursed and it failed to explore the lead love interest's motivations outside of his shamanism so his falling in love felt abrupt. the second couple were both yuri and yaoi and intrinsically connected to the main couple which i loved. the nc scenes were the best of this entire list.

5/10 and in this essay i shall 8/10 - too many plotlines, all of it lacking cohesiveness. (THE SPECIAL EPISODE WAS PERFECT.. i hope season 2 happens)

9/10 - coming of age highschool romance perfection. age gap of one of them with his tutor was weird but i understood where it was coming from.

8/10 the problem with a lot of bigger budget bls these days is that they are entirely too focused on the aesthetics and loose a grip on the storytelling aspect. this has a lot of plot holes. (KHUN METHAS <3)

8/10 - it's really sweet, cozy middle aged yaoi. as jbls go, no plot just vibes focusing on interpersonal relationships.

8/10 incomprehensible mess of a plot that pendulated between romcom and mystery. the romance and comedy is perfect overlooking the ridiculous visions of the future/time travel, the friendgroup of main and side couples' dynamics and fifth wheel had me hooked

8/10 (season 2 had very stupid amnesia plot and was basically the reverse of the first season) age gap² (non creepy)

8/10 messy. communication / compatibility / compromise is more important than love. there are no villains, people are complicated.

8/10 - tried and failed to do too much. the aesthetics production were the only things that carried along with the acting on occasion. second couple (jimmyohm) served my favourite live action toxic yaoi even though they didn't have much material to work with.

7/10 - solid but predictable plot that was a little bit hard to follow. i love it when they keep me guessing as to who the seme/uke is and i still haven't figured it out!! side-couple came in late but came in with a bang

7, 8 if you're generous/10 - comedy is a hit or miss. they were working with a tight budget and you can tell. the story would've made more sense if they fucked end of first episode.

7/10 the action scenes are mid, i'm mildly curious about where the chaebol family drama will end up but offroad's character is absolutely batshit insane like he's incomprehensible to me and to daou's character it's like he sees how unpredictably insane the dude is but there's is this pull he can't escape and he excuses it as ends to a means (getting his job back) but you can see him get sucked in deeper and deeper by this borderline psychopathic rich dude with a revenge story who sometimes seems sweet then turns around and acts like your typical devoid of human emotion villian. that's romance.

7/10 plot is very manga, it could've been an email. can't deny the chemistry but unfortunately for all of us this ain't a science class.
