Favorite Drama Couples

I'm not gonna lie -- most of the time, I'm in drama for the EPIC ROMANCE. I want my HEA, and I want it... well, maximum 20 episodes from now!

These are the couples that made me laugh, cry, and fall in love right along with them. Unfortunately, I can only use show titles, so they may repeat!

Come on, Kim Shin/Ji Eun Tak? Convince me they're not the sweetest, saddest, most romantic couple in DramaLand!

No, don't, because I won't believe you. LOL

  • The Untamed

    2. The Untamed

    Chinese Drama - 2019, 50 episodes

While the story is a little tame for my usual tastes... Wangxian really does it for me anyway. Their story is sweet, adorable, and tragic, but it definitely sticks in my heart. A quirky, misunderstood misfit and a perfect example of a man in this society who loves his man no matter what anyone says? Yes, please!

  • It's Okay, That's Love

    3. It's Okay, That's Love

    Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes

Jang Jae Yeol/Ji Hae Soo - REAL, sexy, flawed, hilarious, and so, so loving. They banter, they fight, but ultimately, they really understand and respect each other, and stand by one another through REALLY tough times.

  • The Legend of the Blue Sea

    4. The Legend of the Blue Sea

    Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes

Heo Joon Jae/Shim Chung - They are the walking definition of charming, cute, sweet and hilarious. There is, of course, a tragic undertone in their story on many levels, but all in all it's a joy to watch them fall in love and fight to stay that way.

I'm also a big fan of "fish-out-of-water" stories (in this case, literally), and TLotBS is perfect in that respect.

  • Kill Me, Heal Me

    5. Kill Me, Heal Me

Let's face it, there are TWO major romances in this story. I was a fan of both in their own way. Like, A HUGE FAN. I'm glad it ended the way it did, even though I was a hysterical mess.

  • Big

    6. Big

    Korean Drama - 2012, 16 episodes

Kang Kyung Joon in Seo Joon Jae's body/Gil Da Ran - Lots of people don't like this couple for various reasons, but I ADORED them. There is a certain innocence to the way they fall in love (in spite of the circumstances), and there is nothing quite like their devotion to one another.

  • Goblin Special: Every Moment of It Shined

    7. Goblin Special: Every Moment of It Shined

    Korean Special - 2017, 1 episode

It was nice of them to use this pic for this one. LOL

    BROMANCE OF THE CENTURY!

    Goblin/Grim Reaper

They're one of the best parts of THE best drama!

  • Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo

    Wang So/Hae Soo. Buy Kleenex

Runner Up: Wang Jeong/Hae Soo No, they weren't lovers, but they were married, and Jeong's devotion to her broke my heart.

  • Shopping King Louie

    9. Shopping King Louie

    Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes

Ko Bok Shil and Louis have got to be one of the cutest couples ever. You would think their innocence and naivte would be grating, but I just fell completely in love with them. One of my favorite fluffy rom com couples.

  • Fight for My Way

    10. Fight for My Way

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

This show has TWO adorable couples: Ko Dong Man/Choi Ae Ra and Kim Joo Man/Baek Seol Hee.  The couples travel down two completely different paths, but each with grab your heart and not let go until the end.
