    Thai Drama - 2016, 15 episodes

    1. This is my honestly my favourite BL series ever, mainly for the nostalgia but specifically because of how high quality it is despite being considered an ‘older’ BL.  Although many BL’s have come out since that I would consider better than this, I’ll forever hold this series close to my heart and I don’t think it’ll ever leave the first place rank. If you are looking to watch a good BL, with characters who have great chemistry, a great plot, and well budgeted series definitely go for this one. This is about a boy called Kongpop that joins a school to study engineering, and there he meets the head hazer Arthit, and at first they can’t stand each other, but eventually over come that. It has incredibly cute moments and shows the progress of enemys, to friends, to lovers!! It also has a few side couples, though we don’t get to look into their relationships very much. Also I know this has been added onto Netflix, so you can imagine my complete excitement and joy at seeing it!! This series was definitely a game changer in the BL industry, and if you’re new to BLs and see a lot of these series based in an Engineering facility, this series and its large popularity is the reason why there are so many engineer-based BL’s. So if you’re interested in getting started, I would absolutely recommend this to be your first BL!
  • The Untamed

    2. The Untamed

    Chinese Drama - 2019, 50 episodes

Wow. This series is definitely one of, if not the best series I have ever watched. The only reason this isn’t in the Number 1 spot, is because it isn’t technically a BL. As this was based in China, the novel and manhua is a BL, but this series, and the anime are just bromances. You may recognise this show by its other name, Mo Dao Zu Shi, or The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. This series is about 2 boys named Wei Wuxian/Wei Ying, and Lan Wangji/Lan Zhan. These 2 are often described like Fire and Ice. They are so different that originally they cannot get on, and Lan Zhan despises Wei Ying. However, as the 2 become closer, they soon become attached, and see the other as their soulmate. However, when Wei Ying disappears for 3 months, and comes back having learned Demonic skills, members of other clans begin to protest, causing Wei Ying to go rouge. Finally after Wei Ying’s powers went out of control, a war started. After Wei Ying accidentally caused the death of many lives, he threw himself off a cliff, and despite Lan Zhan’s attempts to pull him up, he was struck by his own brother and fell to his death. 16 years later, a boy named Mo Xuanyu took his own life and summoned Wei Ying’s spirit into his body to take revenge for his life. Around this time the village has been attacked by deadly ghosts, and cultivators from the Lan clan have showed up to help the situation. Here Wei Ying meets Lan Zhan again, who helps him discover who was the one that really killed all those cultivators. When watching this, you will smile, laugh, cry, and feel emotions you probably have never felt before. This may be a very long drama, but it’s by far the best drama I have EVER watched, and I couldn’t recommend this enough!

  • Manner of Death

    3. Manner of Death

    Thai Drama - 2020, 14 episodes

As soon as this was announced I knew instantly I was going to love it. It has an interesting, hooking plot with a suspenseful crime genre, which is one of my favourites. MaxTul is the main couple which made me so happy as they are already well established as a couple with boundless chemistry. I had so many hopes and expectations that part of me worried this wouldn’t live up to them. However, I’m not even surprised to say not only did they meet my expectations, they far surpassed them. This series focuses on Bun, a medical examiner who moved back to his hometown after finishing his university degree. When investigating the murder of an old friend of his named Jane who was found dead, hanging from the ceiling, he ruled it as a homicide instead of a suicide. This conclusion makes him a target and Jane’s killer begins targeting and threatening him. All conclusions he comes to points to one man, Tan. Bun first met Tan when he was very drunk and accidentally kissed him. Tan worked with Jane and his brother, Pued, was in a relationship with Jane. Tan convinces Bun to team up and find the killer, and eventually Bun moves in with Tan after being threatened by Jane’s killer. As the two spend all their time together, strong feelings develop between them. But can anything come of this connection while they run the risk of being murdered so that Jane’s killer can remain anonymous? This series was just incredible, MaxTul had so much chemistry, and I completely fell in love with all the other cast members. This is honestly my favourite BL series overall despite not being first place on this list and I’m so glad I was able to watch this before all the spoilers came out.

  • I Told Sunset about You

    4. I Told Sunset about You

    Thai Drama - 2020, 5 episodes

    10

When I think of this drama there is one word that comes to mind, “perfection”. The storyline is about Teh and Oh-aew, who were childhood best friends until a rivalry split them apart. Several years later they meet again as they prepare for university, both wanting to study communication arts hoping to become actors. They meet in a Chinese language class and Teh, who is top of the class, offers to help Oh-aew study in the hope of rekindling their friendship. However their reunion and the subsequent time they spend together ends up unlocking stronger feelings between them. This series was just incredible for so many reasons, but for me the best part was exactly how real their feelings were to me as a member of the LGBT community myself. The subtle self-homophobia they both show, and the confusion they feel with their identities made me cry so many times throughout this show. This series only has 5 episodes but it took me 3 days to finish it because I kept having to pause it when I got too emotional. The scenery, setting and overall production value was absolutely incredible and I’m blown away at just how amazing the cinematography is for a BL series, and it’s not at all an exaggeration to say this is the best cinematography I’ve ever seen from any series or movie I’ve ever watched. This was easily one of the best series I’ve watched, even including non BL series in that statement. I’m completely overwhelmed still and I can’t even write a review that will do this series justice.

  • Not Me

    5. Not Me

    Thai Drama - 2021, 14 episodes

    10

This was an incredible series that contained almost all of my favourite themes including gangs which fight against social injustice, identical twins switching identities, and of course a romance that doesn’t feel forced but is sweet and natural. This series is about White, he and his twin brother Black were separated after their parents divorced and taken to different countries. When White returns to Thailand he discovers Black had recently gotten into a serious fight leaving him in a coma. White decides to find out who caused Blacks injuries and poses as him, joining the gang he’s part of in the process. There he meets Sean, who makes it clear right away he and Black hate each other. Through the fight against social injustice they target a popular politician, Tawee, known for his corruption. As White joins their plans to take Tawee down he struggles to hide his true identity while developing feelings for Sean. This was amazing and I loved it so much, the aspects of a gang formed to fight against the corruption of political parties combined with twins that have the special abilities to feel each other’s pain created the most incredible series I’ve ever seen. I was devastated when it finished airing and can’t recommend this drama enough. This is absolutely a must watch and I would go as far as saying, if you haven’t watched this series you haven’t lived and if you didn’t like this series I don’t trust you, lmao.

  • The Sign

    6. The Sign

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

This series had me completely lost for words, I came into this BL not sure what to expect and left with tears in my eyes, an interest in ancient Thai history and mythology, and higher respect for the entire cast. This series is about Tharn and Phaya, two cadets aiming to become police officers in the toughest training course available. Tharn has a special ability, the power to see dangerous events that will happen a few minutes into the future and does his best to help people prevent these situations alongside his childhood friend, Yai. Phaya grows suspicious of Tharn’s premonitions, but after one of the camps instructors is found dead, the two are swept into a series of dangerous events. After they qualify as police officers, each case they take on seems linked to the case of Tharns parents murder. With the help of Yai and two of their new friends, the lovers Khem and Thongthai, the five of them decide to secretly research the connection between all these cases and find one man, Montree, is believed to run a secret drug ring, and swear to take him down. Meanwhile, Tharn and Phaya grow closer and believe they have some deeper connection as they soon discover they have not only met when they were younger, but were a couple in their past lives. However, every life they have lived they were a couple that ended in tragedy after Tharn continues to sacrifice his life for Phaya due to the actions of Chalothorn, a man in love with Tharn throughout every life time and wants Phaya dead so he can keep Tharn to himself. This life might be their final chance, can they survive the challenges they face together, or will fate play out the same way with Tharn sacrificing himself yet again for Phaya? This was an incredible 10/10 series, the aspects of mythology were mind blowing and the cinematography was just insane. This is definitely a must watch!

  • Last Twilight

    7. Last Twilight

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

From the very second the pilot trailer was released, I knew I was going to absolutely love this series. What I wasn’t expecting was for it to surpass every expectation I had and end up becoming one of GMMTV’s best BL’s they’ve ever released. This series is about Mhok, a poor student who went to prison after a fight went out of control on the same night that his older sister took her own life. After he finishes parol he needs a job but struggles to find people willing to employ an ex-convict. One day, he happens to attend an interview where he meets Day, an athlete who was involved in an accident and is slowly loosing his vision and his mother is looking for a caretaker for him. Mhok initially walks away after witnessing Day’s poor attitude but meets him a few days later and saves him from being hit by a car. Day is intrigued by Mhok, realising he is not pitying Day and instead encourages him to do things on his own. Day offers Mhok the job which he eventually accepts and starts to take care of him. Over time, Mhok starts thinking of Day as more than just a job, but how can a poor student with a criminal record take care of a rich son like Day? When Day is given 90 days left of sight before he’ll become completely blind, Mhok decides to help Day travel and visit some of the greatest sights in Thailand before he will be unable to see them. In this journey, will Day be able to accept and reciprocate Mhok’s feelings, or will this remain a one sided love? And also, will a miracle come and allow Day to get a cornea transplant so he can regain his vision? This was an absolute masterpiece, everything from the acting to the chemistry and cinematography was a perfect 10/10. Aof, you’ve done it again, and a huge well done to JimmySea, you were incredible. This is absolutely a must watch and I cannot find the words to describe how perfect this series was!

  • We Best Love: No. 1 For You

    8. We Best Love: No. 1 For You

    Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes

    10

I didn’t expect to love this series so much, but it was absolutely adorable. This series is about Zhou Shu Yi who has been in love with his childhood friend, Jiang Yu Xin, for many years. He gets his heart broken after finding out she is in love with his friend, Fang Zheng Wen, who also returns her feelings. After finding this out he finds and gets closer to his rival, Gao Shi De, who is number 1 in everything and Shu Yi has never managed to pass him in anything. At first Shu Yi hates him after getting blackmailed to be his “servant” until graduation. However, as time goes on he discovers Yu Xin has been in love with Shu Yi ever since they were young, and Shu Yi finds himself returning his feelings. However, Yu Xin is hiding a secret. After graduation Yu Xin will be moving to America with his mother as she is getting remarried. Will Yu Xin decide a long distance relationship is not worth it, and stay away from Shu Yi, or will he find the courage to confess his feelings regardless to the situation? I really loved this series, all the actors were really good, and I didn’t feel any awkwardness from them. I’m so happy I watched this!

  • My Only 12%

    9. My Only 12%

    Thai Drama - 2022, 14 episodes

    10

This series is criminally underrated and I just don’t understand why! This series is about Seeiw and Cake, two best friends who live next door and have been friends since birth. As they grow older Seeiw realised he has developed feelings for Cake, but the problem is Cake is super popular in school and already has a girlfriend. After an unfortunate separation for four years, Seeiw begins to come out of his shell and makes new friends in the time Cake has gone. Cake returns to a new, confident Seeiw and begins to realise he’s always had feelings for Seeiw, but is it too late to act on them? I’m honestly still in shock at just how underrated this series is, this was an absolute 10/10 masterpiece. I loved the “old school” feeling at the beginning and it slowly became more and more modern as time in the series passed, I honestly could have believed that this was filmed back in 2009 when it was originally set. As someone who’s gay myself, this is easily the best Thai BL series ever released in regards to the LGBT representation it has. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Wabi Sabi may not be the best BL company out there, but they’re easily one of the most diverse and inclusive companies in the industry. SantaEarth’s chemistry was insane and this is definitely my favourite BL that came out in 2022.

  • 30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii

    10. 30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii

    Japanese Drama - 2020, 12 episodes

    9.5

When I first heard about this series, I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I did, but I ended up binge watching the whole series within a day and immediately wanted to rewatch it again. This series is about Adachi, a virgin just about to turn 30. There is a myth that if you turn 30 and are still a virgin you unlock magic powers. On Adachi’s birthday he gains the ability to hear people’s thoughts just by touching them. While he’s still trying to work out his powers and how they work, he accidentally discovers that his handsome and talented coworker, Kurosawa, is in love with him. Adachi begins to use his ability to help his coworkers and gets closer to Kurosawa. But when Adachi’s best friend, Tsuge, also gains the same ability and falls in love with a delivery boy named Minato, Adachi must learn to confront his growing feelings for Kurosawa. This series was so sweet, yet had strong elements of comedy that actually made me cry from laughter. Adachi is very clumsy, he trips over and drops things often, and he finds it difficult to express words and emotions, which made him a very relatable character for me. This was definitely one of my favourite BL series of 2020 and I’m so glad I decided to give it a go.

  • Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!: The Movie

An amazing ending to an amazing series. This movie focuses on the events directly after Cherry Magic the series. We see the development of Kurosawa and Adachi’s relationship as they spend some time long distance, move in together, introduce each other to their families, and build their life together. Finally, we see the long awaited proposal and wedding. This was an amazing end, although I do wish we could have gotten a season 2 I think this was such a perfect ending regardless with great closure for both couples. I will admit, I’m hoping they may make another movie or mini series focusing on Tsuge and Minato’s relationship because we didn’t get to see them much, but aside from that I’m so happy with everything they gave us. If you loved Cherry Magic the series then you NEED to watch this!

  • Triage

    12. Triage

    Thai Drama - 2022, 13 episodes

    10

I have honestly no words to describe just how amazing this series was, it’s just a complete 10/10 masterpiece. This series is about Tin, a medical resident who lost his sister a few years ago because of a drunk driver, and since then hates caring for drunk drivers in the ER. One day a student called Tol is brought in after hitting a man on a motorcycle with his car while drunk and died on the operating table. Tin walks away, not too sad over this drunk strangers death, until he falls asleep and wakes up stuck in a time loop to the morning before this accident took place. Tin is given one job, to save Tol’s life. However, no matter how hard he tries, Tol always ends up dead some way or another. Through Tin’s attempts he discovers a sinister plot carried out by the hospitals professor, Sakda, and realises Tol’s death and the death’s of many of his close friends and colleagues may be linked to this plot. Tin now has a new objective, stop professor Sakda’s plan and save as many lives in the process as possible if he wants to end this time loop. But by living through these situations again and again, won’t Tin eventually feel something stronger than just protection for Tol? Will something more come from their connection, or is death an inevitable part of their story? This was incredible, it was such an interesting plot and TaeTee have such great chemistry together, it’s awesome to see them in a main role together after their lack of screen time in 2 Moons and Hotel Stars, I really hope to see more from them in the future. I cannot recommend this enough, it’s definitely a must watch (especially if you liked Manner Of Death, these series are set in the same universe so you may recognise a couple familiar faces).

  • My School President

    13. My School President

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    10

When someone asks me what’s a drama that completely blew me away, this series will always be my go to answer. This is about Gun, the head of the schools music club and leader of a band called Chinzhilla. When the new school principle threatens to suspend the club’s activities Gun decides to try out for the role of School President, knowing only then the club can be saved. This plan is derailed by his classmate Tinn, who also happens to be the principals son. Gun believes Tinn became the school president just so he could disband the music club, yet as we discover from the first episode, Tinn does this to help Gun and the music club because he has had a crush on Gun for 2 years. However, the music club has a rule that no one can date until they win a popular music competition known as HotWave. Tinn secretly helps Gun with this competition while trying to hide his feelings for Gun from his mother, as she would never allow her son to date a troublemaker like Gun. Over time Gun begins to also develop feelings for Tinn and becomes aware of Tinn’s feelings for him. The question is, will the Chinzhilla’s be able to win the competition so Tinn and Gun can finally date, or are they destined to never be together? This series was absolutely incredible, the music was amazing, the actors were insane, all of the couples were so sweet, and of course Tinn’s best friend Tiw was the best character I’ve ever seen in a BL. I loved everything about this series, don’t let the simple sounding plot stop you, because  there is a reason why (at the time of writing this) this is currently the highest rated BL series on Mydramalist. I can’t recommend this series enough, it’s incredible.

  • KinnPorsche

    14. KinnPorsche

    Thai Drama - 2022, 14 episodes

    10

From the second the trailer for this series was released I immediately knew I would love this series, and it did not disappoint. This drama is about Kinn, the son of a mafia leader, who one day gets attacked by enemies of his father and meets the bartender Porsche. He helps Kinn escape his attackers, intriguing Kinn and his father who forces Porsche to work for him as a bodyguard. Porsche hates his job and tries everything to get on Kinn’s nerves, but needs this job in order to provide for his brother and pay off his uncles debt. Shortly after working there Porsche takes on a job in which he gets drugged and Kinn saves him and sleeps with him. At first Porsche is mad that Kinn took advantage of him but eventually they begin sleeping together and soon after start dating. However, with Kinn’s rival Vegas discovering their relationship, how safe are they after all? I loved his drama so much and I’m praying that a season 2 gets made, hopefully without the problematic authors this time. I cannot recommend this series enough to do it justice, just watch it and you won’t be disappointed.

  • Cherry Magic

    15. Cherry Magic

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    9.5

After the love I had for the Japanese adaptation of Cherry Magic, I didn’t think this was going to be nearly as good, so I came into this series with no expectations but was absolutely blown away. This series is about Achi, a virgin who has just turned 30. There is a myth that if you turn 30 and are still a virgin you unlock magic powers. On Achi’s birthday he gains the ability to hear people’s thoughts by touching them. While he’s in the process of figuring out his powers and how they work, he accidentally discovers that his handsome and successful coworker, Karan, is in love with him. Achi starts to use his ability in order to help his coworkers and in the process gets closer to Karan. In doing so he discovers how much Karan has done for Achi within the 7years he’s secretly loved him and believes he is not worthy of Karan’s love and attention. But when Achi best friend, Jinta, also gains the same ability and falls in love with a delivery boy named Min, Achi forces himself to confront his growing feelings for Karan. This was just incredible, TayNew haven’t been a ship since 2019 and I honestly didn’t think their chemistry would still be on the same level it once was. I’ve never been happier to have been proven wrong, this was a fantastic adaptation and I hope to see it back on GMMTV some day.

  • Be My Favorite

    16. Be My Favorite

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    10

Very rarely do I consider a series to be a masterpiece, but there is simply no other word I can think of to describe just how incredible Be My Favourite is. Everything about this series was a perfect 10/10. This series focuses on Kawi, a poor boy who has a crush on his classmate Pearmai. However, he misses out his chance to confess to her so she dates and marries another classmate, Pisaeng. When Kawi receives their wedding invitation he decides to find a gift for Pear, but after a strange man fixes it Kawi spins the globe to discover he has gone back in time to before Pisaeng and Pear were dating. He decides he will use this opportunity to get closer to Pear and confess his feelings. In doing so he inadvertently gets closer to Pisaeng who is immediately interested in him. Kawi attempts to travel back to the present to see if he has changed anything, only to discover Pisaeng has developed feelings for him. Kawi now has a choice, should he avoid Pisaeng in the hope his feelings will go away, or should he stay by his side and try to return Pisaengs’s feelings himself. The storyline, the character depth, the chemistry between the leads, the perfect ending, the gripping plot, the amazing LGBT representation combined made this drama a masterpiece. As a queer woman I have to acknowledge how Pisaeng’s coming out journey is probably the best I’ve ever seen from a BL. The unexpected chemistry between Gawin and Krist still shocks me now, but I’m honestly hoping we may get another series with them. GMMTV really nailed the casting for this series, this was definitely a full 10/10 drama for me and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

  • The Eclipse

    17. The Eclipse

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    9.5

This was a series I honestly didn’t expect to love as much as I did. This is about Ayan, a boy who transfers to Suppalo, Thailands leading all-boys school. The school has a very strict system with rumours of a curse that will punish those who break the rules. Ayan transfers to Suppalo after the death of his uncle Dika, who worked as a teacher there before taking his own life, leaving a journal behind. Ayan knows the school is responsible for his uncles suicide and decides to find out the truth behind the schools dark secrets. On his first day he meets Akk, the head student prefect tasked with taking down a group of protesters who call themselves “World Remembers”. Akk is a straight laced student who follows the rules almost religiously, so when meeting Ayan, the rule breaker, he immediately expresses a dislike towards him. As Ayan discovers more of the schools dark secrets, Akk tries his best to get Ayan kicked out of school. They begin to grow closer while Akk begins to question if the rules he follows really have his best interests at heart, and Ayan shows him just how far the system has brainwashed him. Two boys, both with declining mental health and on the verge of suicide themselves, can they piece themselves back together and expose the school for its corruption whilst protecting each other and the people they care about, whilst also juggling romantic feelings developing between them? This series is incredible, it has pretty much everything I could ever want. Ayan and Akk have great chemistry and Akk’s struggle with his sexuality and identity is so relatable I nearly cried. I cannot recommend this series enough, everything about it is amazing.

  • Bad Buddy

    18. Bad Buddy

    Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes

    10

There is a reason why Aof, the director of this series, is considered to be the best BL director, and this series demonstrates why. This drama is similar to a Romeo and Juliet theme with the main characters being Pran and Pat. They are born into families who are neighbours that have hated each other for years. Due to this Pran and Pat grew up constantly competing to show who was the best son. There parents had one main rule for them, to never befriend those next door. However, it seems Pran and Pat are pretty bad at following orders, and they begin a friendship which blossoms into something more. Can they make their relationship work and survive despite their parents hatred of each other? This series was absolutely incredible, I genuinely never expected to like this series so much but it completely blew me away. Everything from the acting to the scenery and OST was perfect. They better make a season 2 because having to go each week without any more Bad Buddy is a devastating thought.

  • Until We Meet Again

    19. Until We Meet Again

    Thai Drama - 2019, 17 episodes

    9.5

This series was one of the sweetest but most heartbreaking dramas I’ve ever watched. 30 years ago 2 boys, Intouch and Korn, fell in love during their university days. However their fathers were unsupportive of their love, especially Korn’s father who was a gang leader. Their story ended in tragedy after Korn shot himself with Inn soon following, leaving them both dead in their apartment. 30 years later, Pharm enrolls to T-University, a boy with a fear of loud noises, frequent nightmares, and a bullet shaped birthmark on his temple. There he meets the third year president of the swimming club, Dean, who has a matching birthmark also on his temple. They feel a connection immediately, and feel love for each other despite not even knowing each other’s names. The connection caused by the red thread, used to tie lovers together after their death, so they will meet again in their next life. They grow closer through Pharm’s friends, Team, another freshman on the swimming team, and Manow, a girl in the acting club along with Dean’s sister, Del. As they grow closer memories of their past life begin to appear as they slowly realise their connection was because in the past, Dean was once Korn and Pharm was once Intouch. As they grow closer and memories begin to appear, they begin losing apart of themselves when they realise their new selves are still connected to their old self. Although the pacing of this series wasn’t the best, the acting, story, plot, and cast members were incredible! I watched this not only for the plot, but also for Fluke and Earth (2 openly gay actors) playing these roles, and I was so happy with this series. It’s not for everyone, but it’s so amazing!!!!!

  • Vice Versa

    20. Vice Versa

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    9.5

This was such a good series, which I’m honestly surprised about as themes of body swapping/multiverse normally aren’t my favourite as they are hardly ever done well. This series is about Talay, a colourist who started working for a prestigious filming company. One day, he meets the famous actor Puen, and gives him a gift to show his support. However, Talay later ends up at the beach with several friends and ends up drowning, where he suddenly wakes up in a different universe in another mans body named Tess to find out they swapped places. He can only return to his universe once he finds his ‘portkey’ who will help him get home. While searching for his portkey he meets Tun, an old acquaintance of Tess’, who he soon realises has also traveled across universes. Tun tells Talay about his job as an actor but decides to keep his name a secret. The two of them suspect they are each there portkeys and to get back to their universe they must spend a lot of time together until the day they dream of a location. Once they visit the location they dreamed about, they can return home. However, spending so much time together means they have begun to develop feelings for each other. Will they be able to return to their universe, can they find each other again, and will a famous actor and normal worker be able to date in a, still conservative Thailand? This series was a little confusing at first, and there are far too many product placements, but overall I absolutely loved this series and highly recommend it. The chemistry between the leads was insane, they were so sweet and the whole series was so romantic. The cinematography was a masterpiece and I loved all the references to other series and actors. I can’t count the number of times I’ve rewatched this.

  • Gameboys

    21. Gameboys

    Filipino Drama - 2020, 13 episodes

    10

Gameboys is the best Filipino series I’ve ever watched, and probably will ever watch. This at first seemed to be the story of an internet romance during the Covid pandemic surrounding Gavreel and Cairo, but soon it became much more than that. Cairo is a gamer that meets Gavreel, his fan, during a live stream. The 2 talk and grow closer as Gavreel confesses his crush on Cai. As they talk more Cai meets Pearl (the queen!), who is Gav’s best friend and ex. Cairo finds himself feeling jealous but luckily Pearl understands and sent Cai a video call clearing up the situation and forming a close friendship together. As the series progresses we see that in only 13 short episodes the drama deals with the fears of coming out, first relationship, loss of a loved one, betrayal of a friend, jealousy (that is actually justified for once), and all of this was done through dual screens with very limited face to face interaction. This series is a game changer for BL series, not only in the Philippines, but maybe the world. I’m so in love with this series and following on from this series came Pearl Next Door, a GL featuring our queen Pearl, and I was so excited and in love with it!

A fantastic final to an incredible series. This is the second season of I Told Sunset About You, and is set a year after the first season as they move to Bangkok and begin university. As they spend time meeting new people and building new friendships Oh-aew begins questioning his career path and wonders if being an actor is right for him. Teh becomes friends with a senior in the drama club, Jai, and suddenly begins questioning his relationship with Oh-aew as he starts developing feelings for Jai. Will their relationship fall apart as the two of them change and grow, and can they find their way back together and rebuild the broken trust existing between them. Although there were themes of infidelity here which I absolutely hate, I genuinely loved this series so much and can’t recommend it enough.

Sadly another Chinese bromance here, but it was so good! This is about a world that 10,000 years ago had been overrun by demons after they crashed into this world. Now a teacher named Shen Wei is researching into what they truly are. One day when a student is found dead the chief of the SID (special investigation division), Zhao Yunlan meets Shen Wei, who seems to know him from somewhere but can’t remember where. As hidden secrets are revealed we discover how they met 10,000 years ago, and how they met again. We look into the lives of all the individual  members of the SID. We have Changcheng, the pure-hearted boy who recently joined and became a vital member of the division. Then there’s Chu Shuzhi who was originally one of the demons, and joined the SID after the death of his innocent younger brother. Then there’s the cat hybrid Da Qing, the snake hybrid Zhu Hong, the scientist Lin Jing, the ghost Zhang Ruonan and finally her boyfriend Sang Zan. There are lots of characters we are introduced to, but I didn’t find it confusing to keep track of at all which I was happy about. This was so amazing, even if the bromance between Yunlan & Shen Wei, and Changcheng & Shuzhi was only limited, each interaction was pure and enjoyable. I’m so sad now that I’ve finished it and I wish despite the long length, that it could have been even longer!

I would say this is probably the second best Filipino series I have ever watched after Gameboys. This series is about Karl, a 19 year old architect student who is forced to move into his uncles old condo by his parents. One day he meets Vladimir who sneaks into his house to escape his sister when she visits and his sister accidentally sees a moment between them and misunderstands, thinking they were a couple. Vlad asks Karl to play along with it and he will help pay Karl’s rent. However, when Vlad, who has had a falling out with his parents, has nowhere else to go, Karl proposes the two of them live together as housemates. But how long will that last before Karl falls for the out and proud Vlad? This series was incredible and I could really relate to Karl’s panic and fear over his own sexuality. I really hope this series gets a season 2 otherwise I will cry!

This is definitely my new favourite Korean BL series, it was so sweet and I absolutely loved it. This series features Chu Sangwoo, a computer science major who is obsessed with rules and structure, he likes everything to be in order with a strong sense of right and wrong. He is put into a group project with Jang Jaeyoung, a design major who contributes little to the project leading to a failing grade and the need to repeat a year. Angry, he decides to go after and annoy Sangwoo every day in revenge, forcing them to partner up for projects. Over time, after working together they begin to feel a strong attraction to each other which develops after Sangwoo impulsively kisses Jaeyoung. I honestly loved this series so much, it was so wholesome and sweet and a very enjoyable watch. Definitely recommend.

I was not expecting to love this as much as I did, but this series completely blew me away. This drama is about Ji Hyun who has moved to Seoul for university with his childhood friend. He manages to find a job working in a small store selling pork and soju, and while working he meets Jae Won who is out with friends celebrating his departure from the military. They immediately become fast friends and Ji Hyun decides to join the surfing club to become closer to Jae Won, a club which is run by not only Jae Won, but his ex girlfriend Eun Ji who he broke up with after finding out she cheated on him while he was in the military. Ji Hyun and Jae Won are instantly attracted to each other, but are scared to pursue their feelings. When Ji Hyun gets into a serious accident, Jae Won blames himself and vows to avoid him. Will this separation be the end of their romance, or will Jae Won be able to forgive himself for Ji Hyun’s accident and can they return to each other’s side again? For a Korean BL series this has a much longer run time than expected, the plot is great with good pacing and the chemistry between the leads is honestly incredible. I wasn’t expecting such intimate kiss scenes in a Korean BL but this completely surpassed any expectations I had from this series. I highly recommend this drama, it’s a beautiful watch with an incredible cast and storyline.

My jaw hit the floor so many times throughout this series, it was an incredible but disturbing watch. Before I discuss the plot, if you’re interested in watching this series PLEASE read the trigger warnings very carefully. This is a psychological horror with trigger warnings of serious blood and intense gore, death, themes of graphic suicide, bodily harm, SA, grooming of a student by a teacher, bullying and there’s probably more than I can’t even think of. If you’re sensitive to any of those themes I highly advise you to stay away from this series, but if these topics won’t trigger you then I absolutely recommend this drama. This is about a group of friends who travel to a vacation house in the middle of nowhere. When they find an old camera with a recording of a short film that their old friend, Non, directed who died 3 years ago, they begin confronting their horrific past. Who exactly is Non, and what did they all do to him which lead to his death? And who is the strange masked killer going after each member of the group one by one. In the script of the short film Non wrote, a masked man hunted down each member in the house until none were able to leave the house again. Is that the killers goal, and will this script be brought to life. This series does get a little confusing at times, the first 4 episodes are in the present, then after that there is a long flashback to the past which introduces us to Non and we learn more about him and the rest of the group. Non’s backstory genuinely broke my heart and made me cry, he deserves the world but unfortunately the world turned its back on him. Now it’s time for justice to come, let’s all root for the masked killer and come watch this series!

This is just incredible. This is about a ghost called Mes that is lonely and has no one visit his grave. One day a little boy called Than comes along who has the ability to see ghosts, and visits him every year. The two of them have a special bond until Than suddenly leaves for a few years with no warning. Mes is about to give up hope with seeing him again, but is surprised when Than visits him again when Than has grown up and is now an adult.  Than finds a way to get Mes away from the graveyard, and Mes moves into Than’s apartment. They become even closer while they try to solve the mystery of how Mes really died, in the hope that Mes can reincarnate when he discovers the truth. But along the way the two begin to develop strong feelings for each other, whilst knowing that a ghost and a human cannot have feelings for another or be in a relationship. This was filled with cute moments, heart stopping scenes, hilarious moments, and unexpected plot twists as we work out Mes’ true identity. This is such a good series, and the chemistry between the actors is amazing. If you are another BL fan like me you will probably recognise most, if not all of the actors in this show!!

Wow, this was just incredible. This series is based from one of my favourite novels “Faraway Wanderers”. This is about Zhou Zi Shu, the leader of a royal praetorian service that turns his life around for the worse to escape the situation he finds himself in. He begins to wander the world disguised as a sickly man, when he meets the mysterious Wen Ke Xing and his servant Gu Xiang. On Zi Shu’s journey he also meets a young boy named Zheng Cheng Ling who he saves from being murdered by assassins. He takes Cheng Ling in as his disciple, and Wen Ke Xing joins them as they form their own family. But, how long can a life of wandering peace last when each of them are concealing their own identities, including Ke Xing who is actually the Chief of the Ghost Valley? Despite this series apparently having a low budget, you could not guess that at all when watching this. It was absolutely incredible and I loved it so much!

  • Theory of Love

    30. Theory of Love

    Thai Drama - 2019, 12 episodes

    9.5

This was a sad tear jerking drama that made me cry, and feel angry, sad, hurt, but also happy and excited. This was about a boy called Third, that has been secretly in love with his friend Khai for 3 years. For those 3 years he has kept his love silent, while knowing Khai is straight and a playboy, who never takes his relationships seriously, and doesn’t know how to love. He decides to try and move on, but when Thirds friends Two and Bone discover Thirds feelings for Khai, they try to set them up, but fail. Finally when Third discovers a secret of Khai’s that breaks his heart, he finally gives up and moves on. But when Third falls out of love, Khai falls in love. This drama has no shortage of angst and tears. However this is unlike the stereotypical dramas and is sad until the very end, but the last few minutes of the ending turns very happy. There is also another gay couple, which came about unexpectedly but fit well. The actors were amazing, Off and Gun played the main couple, proving yet again why I love them so much. Off made us hate and despise his character, then fall in love and root for him in the end. Gun made us love and empathise with him throughout the drama. Don’t watch this expecting a happy go lucky show, but definitely give it a go if you don’t mind a lot of angst and can stick around of the very happy ending!

  • Secret Crush on You

    31. Secret Crush on You

    Thai Drama - 2022, 14 episodes

    9.0

My honest reaction to this series is, if you can make it through the cringe and second hand embarrassment this series will give, you can make it through anything. This series is about a boy named Toh who has a crush on his senior Nuea. As he believes his love will never come true he settles by stalking Nuea and collecting several items of his to keep as a reminder of his love (used drink cans, napkins etc). However, what happens when Nuea is aware of Toh’s feelings all along, even reciprocating them? Will their love story come true, or will it remain nothing more than a secret crush? Meanwhile, Toh’s best friend Jao and Neua’s best friend Sky have been growing close as Sky flirts with Jao, attempting to make Jao fall for him. Alongside Jao, their friend Daisy, a transgender woman, begins talking to another of Neua’s friends named Intouch. Toh suffers from his own insecurities, Jao with serious body image issues, and Daisy dealing with her own dysphoria and the transphobia of those around her, can their partners help them see the good in themselves and learn to love themselves for who they are? This series is so cringeworthy it took a very long time to make it through, but if you are able to look past the second hand embarrassment this is a beautiful coming of age story dealing with several serious and important issues such as homophobia, transphobia, bullying, body image issues (particularly concerning weight and appearance) and unlearning insecurities. After the first 4 episodes this series became a must watch and I can’t recommend this series enough.

This is my favourite season in the HIStory series. This is about a gang leader called Tang Yi, and a police officer called Meng Shao Fei. He has been investigating Tang Yi for 4 years after the death of his college. Meng Shao Fei and Tang Yi both have the same goal, to find the man that killed the people they were close to, as Tang Yi’s adoptive father died in the attack as well. Shao Fei believes Tang Yi knew who did it and was involved, and Tang Yi thought he knew and is devastated to realise the situation wasn’t as he believed. Eventually Tang Yi and Shao Fei get kidnapped and have to work together to escape, and through this they get closer, and eventually feelings develop. We also look at Shao Fei’s college, Zhao Li An, and Tang Yi’s subordinate, Jack. They meet after Jack takes him to their hideout to find out where Tang Yi was. From their we watch feelings between them develop. This was a cute series, and much longer than the previous seasons. All in all it was a really good show, that I think everyone will enjoy, with lots of plot twists, some violence, a lot of romance, and a good ending!

This was such an amazing series and I’m still so mad at how underrated it is, it deserves wayyyy more popularity than it currently has. This series focuses on a ruthless Lawyer called Charn who is know to solve every case he takes on, often using cheap tricks and illegal methods to get his way. He works on a case allowing his client to walk free after being accused of murder, and so the brother of the victim attacks him. Charn is saved by Tinn, and is immediately attracted to him but believes he will never see him again. However, he is soon asked to take a case for the mayor, after his son was accused of killing a young girl named Tonkhao in a hit and run. It turns out that Tonkhao was the younger sister of Tinn, who is fighting to bring the killer to justice. Charn originally tries to pay off Tinn to drop the case, but after he realises something is fishy about this case and is soon removed from the case after questioning the mayors son, he switches sides and decides to help Tinn seek justice for his sisters death. Despite their unfavourable start, the two begin to fall in love, however this case grows more and more complicated the more evidence they gather. Will their love survive and can they seek justice for Tonkhao even when their opponent is powerful enough to make them disappear? I genuinely cannot put the words together to describe how much I loved this series. JamFilm have insane chemistry and the plot of this series was so interesting, I cannot recommend this series enough. If you like crime related dramas I guarantee you will love this.

Wow. I’m in awe of what I’ve just watched. This was absolutely incredible and I’m devastated that this has ended already and I’m praying for a season 2 to be made. This series is about Woo Tae Kyung, an introvert with no friends who, after his teacher Seo Haet Bit encourages him to make some friends, joins the student council. There he meets the silent vice-president Noh Shinwoo, who is rather cold and harsh to him for no reason. The president of the council, Shin Daon, who is kind and considerate of everyone he interacts with, and the playful, cute Nam Goong who is friendly, approachable, and gives great love advice. Soon after joining the council Taekyung and Daon grow closer as feelings spark between the 2, but when Daon is unable to confront his sexuality, Taekyung finds himself drawn to Shinwoo, the man of few words but sweet actions when he believes no one is looking. Meanwhile Lee So Hee, a girl from the nearby private school who has had a crush on Daon for 3 years, becomes jealous of Taekyung and attempts to drive a wedge between the 2. Who will Taekyung finally fall for, the innocent but tsundere Noh Shinwoo, or the passionate but secretive Daon?

HOW??!!! I just… I- How? How is every sequel from this series getting better and better. I’m struggling to form the words to write this review because… wow! This is a sequel to My Beautiful Man seasons 1 and 2 focusing on Hira and Kiyoi as they are getting closer to graduation and are both focusing on their own careers, Kiyoi as an actor and Hira as an assistant photographer. When Kiyoi’s coworker, Anna, has her relationship with another actor publicly outed, Hira worries that his relationship with Kiyoi will also impact his acting career and as such pulls away from him, leaving Kiyoi hurt and confused at Hira’s sudden distance. Hira is still working on hisself esteem issues so Kiyoi encourages him to submit his work for a prestigious photography award with his employers help. Hira sees how talented his boss is as a photographer and begins to loose his passion for photography, believing he will never be at that same level. Kiyoi works with him to improve his confidence and to build their future together. This is honestly such a beautiful movie I immediately want to go back and rewatch it. Generally speaking, this series and all of its sequels are pretty short, so if you have the time definitely add these to your plan to watch list, you won’t regret it!!!

What exactly are they putting into the recent K-BL’s because Korea have really stepped up its game, this was an incredible series and I will cry if we don’t get to see more from them so a sequel better be made! This series is about Ji Wonyoung who was fired after his previous manager was caught in a corruption scandal. Angry about the unfairness of the situation, he decides to spend some time away where he soon meets the artist, Tae Joon, in a pottery shop. Wonyoung recognises Tae Joon as his previous companies CEO’s favourite artist who disappeared two years ago and they have been trying to track him down ever since his disappearance. Wonyoung believes if he convinces Tae Joon to work with the company again he may get his old job back and decides to grow closer to Tae Joon by working part time in the nearby coffee shop he frequents. Unknowingly, he begins to fall in love with Tae Joon without realising, but by the time he realises his feelings, things have already gone too far. Will Tae Joon stay with Wonyoung even after finding out that their whole relationship was built on a lie, or can he move on from his past and forgive Wonyoung so they can continue their relationship together? This was absolutely beautiful, from the cinematography to the acting, and especially the chemistry. My only complaint was that the side couple hardly had any scenes together so I’m hoping the potential season 2 will change that. This is 100% worth watching and I highly recommend it.

This was such a cute series I genuinely cannot put into words how much I enjoyed it. This series is about Yutaka, a lonely man who is known to eat alone and avoids other people as much as possible. One day he meets a young boy named Tane and shares his onigiri with him before his older brother Minoru shows up. Minoru helps raise Tane due to their mother’s death several years ago and immediately becomes drawn to Yutaka seeing the way he interacts with his younger brother. Minoru invites Yutaka over to teach Minoru how to make his special onigiri, which leads to them all having meals together once a week. Through this experience, Yutaka learns what family meals feel like, becoming less afraid of eating around others and feelings begin to develop between Minoru and Yutaka. This series is genuinely the sweetest show I’ve ever watched, it perfectly captures the dynamics of a “found family” which I absolutely loved. The chemistry between the leads was great and the interactions between Yutaka and Tane were adorable. This is definitely a series you need to watch at least once and I cannot recommend it enough!

I was honestly not expecting to like this series that much but it was amazing, such an interesting and unique plot combined with great acting and chemistry created this beautiful BL. This series is about 29 year old Tae Myungha who is tired of life and considers ending it all when his only friend asks him to read his book which is soon being adapted into a game. Myungha admits he didn’t like the book because the main character, Cha Yeowoon, has a very depressing life which still isn’t happy by the stories conclusion. His friend asks him if he would be willing to rewrite Yeowoon’s story and how he would change it, after their discussion Myungha gets drunk and falls asleep. The next moment he wakes up in the body of a 19 year old in a classroom, behind him sits a boy with the name label Ahn Kyunghoon, a name which Myungha recognises as being a character in his friends novel. Myungha quickly realises he has somehow traveled into his friends game with one clear mission, to make Yeowoon happy. When Myungha tries to track Yeowoon down he finds him on a roof about to jump off and saves him, prompting a gradual friendship between the two. However, Yeowoon, finally having a person who cares for him and who he trusts, soon starts to fall in love with Myungha. Myungha now has a dilemma, does he still want to return back to his world after completing his mission, or does he want to stay a student and allow himself to fall for the main character knowing the potential suffering and heartbreak that could come with this? This was an amazing series and I also recognised the actor playing Ahn Kyunghoon as Cha Woongki from Boys Planet which was amazing!! I genuinely loved this series and really hope they’ll make a sequel, I cannot recommend this series enough as it’s definitely a must watch!

This series was so cute, as a Korean BL I was shocked at the chemistry the main couple has. This drama is about Si Won, a student working in film production who has spent the last few years working out to stay in shape, having spent most of his life overweight. At college he meets Da Un, a handsome and rich boy who seems to have everything he wants fall into his lap. Siwon is jealous of Daun and attempts to avoid him on campus, a plan which is derailed after they are partnered together in almost every class they take. As they spend time together working on Siwon’s film, feelings grow between the two. But after Siwon’s film wins an award that Daun’s parents oversaw, Siwon starts to question whether anything he’s accomplished has been his own, or are his connection to Daun creating opportunities he does not deserve? There was so much chemistry in this series and I genuinely loved it. This is how I want to see Korean BL’s be from now on, great plot with a perfect couple. I can’t recommend this series enough, it was beautiful.

If the word ‘messy’ was a series it would be this one. This series focuses on a group of four friends (Mew, Ray, Boston and Cheum) and the relationships between them and also with their significant others as the four work on a group project to set up and open a resort together. The first couple, Mew and Top, met one night in a bar, then later met again when Boston invited his friend to sponsor the resort who it turns out was Top. Top immediately expresses an interest in Mew and publicly asks Mew to be his boyfriend. Mew initially accepts out of embarrassment but later tells Top he wants to take it slow and get to know him better before they date officially. Mew’s friend Ray has been in love with Mew for a while and, heartbroken over Mew’s new relationship, has a one night stand with a singer from the bar named Sand. The two begin a friends with benefits relationship but problems arise when it comes out that Top once stole Sand’s ex. Their other friend, Boston, is known to sleep with anyone who expresses an interest in him and becomes friends with benefits with Nick, who works in a tech store and is Sand’s roommate. However, Boston is mad about Mew and Top’s relationship and convinces Top to sleep with him while he’s with Mew. Cheum is their female friend in a long term relationship with her girlfriend April. The two witnesses their friends love lives fall apart and come back together and try to remain strong for their friends sakes. This is so messy but the good kind of messy, basically every actor in this series makes out with each other, that’s what makes it so great lmao. I really enjoyed this series and if you like mess and lots of NC scenes I 100% recommend you give this a go.

I really enjoyed this series so much, it was sweet and heartfelt but also comedic and hilarious. This drama focuses on two actors, Akafuji and Aoyagi, who are set to star in an upcoming BL series together. When Aoyagi is introduced to Akafuji, he is immediately ignored leaving him to believe Akafuji hates him. What he doesn’t know is that Akafuji has been a huge fan of his for years, and his cold front is a mask to hide his fanboying. The two end up moving in together so they can grow closer and learn more about each other and the feelings of their characters in the process. However, how long can Akafuji hide his fan crush on Aoyagi, and what happens when he starts treating Aoyagi so well that he begins to develop a crush on him in return? The story of this drama was very interesting, focusing almost behind the scenes of the process for a BL series to be created. The comedic side of this series comes from the reveal that Akafuji is a huge fan of and loves Aoyagi so much that he comes off rather awkward and standoffish towards him but is a total fanboy when he is alone. This immediately gave me A Man Who Defies The World Of BL vibes which is also one of my favourite Japanese BL’s so I was very impressed and excited about that. I won’t lie, I was a little nervous about the number of episodes, as often shorter series tend to be fast paced and miss out a lot but the pacing of each episode was great, well planned with a perfect mix of comedy and heartfelt romance. I’m really hoping they’ll give us a season 2. I’ll definitely be adding the manga this is adapted from to my plan to read list. This has been absolutely hilarious, I love a good comedic romance so this was perfect for me. I hope to see more BL’s with similar themes and genres to this in the future.

I think this was one of the best Korean BL series I’d ever seen at this time. This is about Kang Seo Joon, an actor who’s popularity is now in decline after a video of him and another actor leaving a bar while showing bad bruises surfaced online. Seo Joon refused to comment on the issue so he was told by the company to lay low for a while and they decided he had to move house until it was safer. Then we meet Han Ji Woo, a chef working at a small time restaurant. Seo Joon moves in with Ji Woo, who is immediately put off by Seo Joon’s bold personality as Ji Woo is rather shy and isolated. As they spend time together they gradually form a friendship, which eventually leads to something more. However, can a relationship between them last when one is a celebrity and the other is a poor chef with barely enough money to get by? There was so much chemistry between the actors and despite the relatively short run time, I found myself drawn into the quality and pacing of this series. I’m so in love with this and highly recommend.

I love my mafia BL’s and this was definitely no exception. This series is about Bai Zhongyi, a student dreaming to one day become a doctor. One day, walking home from school, he runs into the injured gangster Fan Ze Rui who shoves a knife in his hand and tells him if he doesn’t help him he will be arrested for murder as his fingerprints are now on a murder weapon. Zhongyi has no choice and takes him in and patches him up. Ze Rui decides to stay in Zhongyi’s apartment while his subordinates look for the people responsible for attacking him. After they are caughthe leaves, but they meet again when Ze Rui takes an undercover job as a substitute teacher at Zhongyi’s school. They pretend they don’t know each other on school property, but outside begin a secret relationship. However, after they are captured and attacked by another gang causing Ze Rui to kill the leader in self defence, Zhongyi is charged for the gangsters death and sent to prison, while Ze Rui sustained a head injury and lost his memory. When Zhongyi gets out of prison, will he and Ze Rui be able to reunite and will Ze Rui recognise him when they do? This was such a good series and really enjoyable, I highly recommend if you want an action-packed,steamy romance.

This is not only one of the best Korean BL series I’ve ever watched, but probably the most interesting in terms of plot and style. This series is about Yeon Woo, who is a ‘mono’. A Mono is someone that only sees the world in black and white. One day when he starts a new school he meets Yoo Han, his ‘probe’. A Probe is someone that allows a mono to see colour when looking at their face. Each Mono has a unique Probe out there, and because of this many Monos have been known to kidnap and kill their probes out of paranoia that they will leave them. However, Yoo Han also has lost the ability to identify faces, and when he meets Yeon Woo he is able to see his face. However, when Yeon Woo begins to have terrifying thoughts of kidnapping Yoo Han, what will happen to them? Will they be torn apart, or can Yoo Han help Yeon Woo before it’s too late? This series was so good and I can guarantee I’ll be rewatching it many times.

I’m still reeling from just how incredible this series was. This series was about Gene, a writer of boys love novels that had one of his novels titled “Bad Engineer” turned into a series. During the casting for the main characters he meets Nubsib, a handsome actor who uses Gene to portray his incredible acting ability. After discovering Nubsib’s manager, Tum, was one of Gene’s old friends, Nubsib goes to live with Gene as a favour to Tum. While living together they grow closer than ever and fans become divided, half shipping Gene and Nubsib, the other half shipping Nubsib and his costar Aoey. As Aoey enters the scene, how will things change for Nubsib andGene? Everything about this series, from the incredible cinematography to the high production value, was just amazing and I really hold a lot of love for this series.

  • S.C.I

    46. S.C.I

    Chinese Drama - 2018, 24 episodes

    9.5

This is one of those Chinese dramas that due to censorship bans, couldn’t make it a full BL, but went further that just a bromance. After the criminal Zhao Jue, a psychologist imprisoned for his hypnosis skills causing over 30 peoples death, escapes, Officer Bao decides to create a unit know as the S.C.I. This unit will be known as the greatest unit in the force and will have the power to take over any investigation and request help from any other unit which cannot be refused. The leader of this group is the cop Bai Yutong, known throughout Hong Kong as the youngest and best cop of this generation. Next is the criminal Psychologist Zhao Yao, Yutong’s childhood friend/enemy. Then there is the sniper Ma Han, the medical examiner Gongsun, the hacker Shen Lin, the intelligent Bai Chi, and the brave Wang Shao and Zhao Fu. Together they work and solve a total of 3 serial killer cases in this series. The first one, Killer Training Camp, the second, Magic Murder (where we meet my favourite character, Zhao Zhen), and the final which will progress into the next season which is more complicated than can be explained. I really enjoyed this and like I said at the top, it’s only a bromance but even the criminals said to Yutong, “I will hurt Zhao Yao because I can tell he is the person you care about the most” and their chemistry is perfect. I can’t recommend this series enough and can’t wait for season 2!

I seriously cannot believe how good this was. If you’ve seen the series Addicted Heroine then you’ll love this, in my opinion this was actually better than the original. This series is about Su Yu, a poor high school student living with his father. When he hears about his mother’s remarriage to a wealthy man he rejects her and refuses to go near her. The man his mother married has a son called Wu Bi from a previous marriage. He, like Su Yu, rejects his new mother and decides to change schools and move out to avoid her. The new school he attends happens to be the same school as Su Yu and they are placed in the same class. As they spend time together hatred turns to like and eventually like turns to love. All happening without realising they are stepbrothers. When they discover the truth will they stay together after all, or will their hatred for their parents keep them apart. People are going to call this a Bromance because it is a ChineseBL series, but they are wrong. This is so much more than a Bromance, Su Yu and Wu Bi are clearly in love and (spoiler: they kiss in the series twice). This was incredible and I genuinely cannot wait for season 2!

The amazing second season and ending to an incredible series. This season was set 5 years after season 1, when both Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De have graduated and are now working as the CEO’s of their own companies and join together for a project after spending 5 years apart with no sudden explanation why. We also have the 2 side couples that (despite not getting many moments) are still just as cute, Pei Shou Yi & Yu Zhen Xuan, and Shi Zhe Yu and Liu Bing Wei. Although this season wasn’t as good as season 1, I still really loved it and honestly hope they decide to make a season 3!

The first part of this series I want to draw attention to is the name, which translates to “A world where everything definitely becomes BL vs The man who definitely doesn’t want to be in a BL”. The title alone tells you everything you need to know about the series. This is about the main character known as “Mob/Mobu” meaning the ordinary background character. He lives almost in a BL manga where everyone around him (including his younger brother Ayato) is gay and falls in love with another man. However, just as the name suggests, the Mobu doesn’t want to fall in love with another man. In this series we watch him take every possible action to prevent all the stereotypical aspects of a BL from happening in his own life. This includes expertly avoiding any situations where love could form between him and another man (taking someone home after they get drunk for example) and is actually pretty smart in the way he goes about this. However, will his mission of not turning gay in a world of BL actually be successful? There is a manga to this that I had already read before starting this which is why I was so excited when this series was announced, but this really surpassed my expectations!

I actually loved this series a lot, which isn’t a huge shock considering boss x bodyguard is one of my favourite troupes, and I already know Pond and Phuwin have amazing chemistry together. I think I was expecting it to not be very good as some of the reviews weren’t super positive, but this is mdl and everyone seems to be super negative on here lmao. This drama is about Neungdiao, heir to a successful company that has led to him becoming isolated and looked down upon by his peers for his families wealth. On his 18th birthday, his father is shot and killed, leaving him and his mother, Thanya, to take over the company. Neung’s uncle doesn’t like that he won’t get to take over the company so Thanya assigns her assistants son Palm to act as Neung’s bodyguard both around home and school, fearing for her sons life. When someone threatens Thanya and Neung’s lives, Palm takes Neung and runs away with him until it is safe for them to return home. In this time, Neung and Palm become closer and agree to date at least until they can return home, back to normality. What happens when they do return, will they go back to being a boss and his bodyguard, or will the feelings they developed cause them to stay together permanently? I honestly really enjoyed this series, it was a little slow at times but I thought it was great. I would definitely recommend it.

    Japanese Drama - 2023, 4 episodes

The amazing sequel to My Beautiful Man the series that was, in my opinion actually better than the first season. Very rarely do I like a sequel more than it’s prequel so I’m very surprised to even be typing that out. This season focuses on Hira and Kiyoi’s relationship now that they are official and living together. Kiyoi begins working as an actor and model while Hira is applying for part-time jobs. Hira is still dealing with his own self-esteem issues, leaving Kiyoi alone wondering if Hira truly loves him or was more caught up in the magic of unrequited love so is unable to actually open his heart. Hira believes Kiyoi is leagues above him and has prepared himself for the day Kiyoi will leave him, as such he is keeping his personal, private and family life separate from his love life. Kiyoi just wants a normal relationship where he can meet his boyfriends parents and go on public dates and is heartbroken at Hira’s belief that this relationship is temporary. I’ve said this before in my review of season 1 and I’ll say it again here, from a psychological perspective this is one of the deepest and most impactful series I’ve ever watched. The characterisation of Hira is incredible and I loved that we got to have a deeper perspective into the thoughts and fears of Kiyoi in this relationship. This series has captured my heart and I will never stop recommending this to everyone, if you don’t watch this you are seriously missing out!

As a manga reader I can’t tell you how excited I was for this series, and it didn’t let me down. This series is based off the popular Yaoi manga of the same name. It is about Aoki who has a crush on his classmate named Hashimoto. One day when he borrowed an eraser from her, he didn’t expect her to have written a name on her eraser symbolising her crush on Ida, the boy who sits in front of Aoki. When Aoki accidentally drops the eraser in his shock, Ida picks it up and mistakes the name on the front thinking Aoki has a crush on him. Aoki, still with feelings for Hashimoto decides it’s best not to reveal her feelings and tells Ida to forget about it. However, Ida asks Aoki if he can have some time to think on his feelings and give Aoki an answer. Moved by Ida’s sincerity Aoki begins to develop real feelings for Ida, but worries that even if Ida felt the same way, could they ever have a relationship that’s not the “norm”. The actors look exactly like the manga characters and the storyline was very close to the original. Overall I’m so happy with this adaptation, it was very enjoyable.

Although this is an incredibly flawed relationship, I completely fell in love with this drama. This is about Hira, a boy with strong anxiety and a stutter which leads to him not talking much and having no friends. One day, when starting a new school he falls in love with Kiyoi who is known as “the king”. Kiyoi is popular with lots of friends, is smart and talented at both acting and dancing. Hira decides he wants to stay close to his first ever crush so ends up becoming an errand boy for Kiyoi’s group of friends. However despite Kiyoi’s unreasonable demands he protects Hira from any bullies and keeps him safe throughout the school day. As time goes by will Kiyoi return the obvious feelings of Hira or will he keep him at a distance. From a moral outlook this was an incredibly toxic relationship with a strong power imbalance up until the end. But from a psychological perspective this is one of the deepest and most impactful series I’ve ever watched. The character of Hira is so interesting and I found myself immersed into the story. I really loved this and honestly hope they will make a season 2 with a much healthier outlook into their relationship.

  • Pit Babe

    54. Pit Babe

    Thai Drama - 2023, 13 episodes

I feel empty without having this drama to fill my Fridays now. This series was amazing, not necessarily because of the plot, acting or direction, but because of how this made me feel. This definitely wasn’t perfect and even though it was 13 episodes, it still felt far too short, but I loved it with all my heart. This series is based on an omegaverse novel surrounding Babe, a racer on the X-Hunter team known as Pit Babe or “King of The Hollow” who happens to be a special alpha with heightened senses. One day, after a race, he meets a fanboy called Charlie who is also an alpha and requests Babe’s help in learning how to drive and race professionally. Babe realises that Charlie’s pheromones have no scent, so agrees on the condition that they would become friends with benefits. Babe brings Charlie to meet the rest of his team and is introduced to X-Hunters manager Alan, the second best racer Way, and the junior racers North, Sonic, and Dean. What Babe doesn’t know, however, is that Charlie has a secret motive in getting close to Babe and secretly invites his younger brother Jeff to pose as a mechanic. Jeff is an omega (not mentioned in the series) who quickly catches the eye of Alan and the 35 year old alpha is immediately drawn to the 20 year old. Can Charlie and Jeff still fulfil their plan even when they’re falling in love with the very people they are supposed to betray? This was an amazing series and the first live adaptation I’ve ever seen for an omegaverse, especially with an alphaXalpha main pairing. My only complaint is that we were promised 6 couples (CharlieBabe, AlanJeff, PeteWay, SonicNorth, KentaKim, and WinnerDean) yet only got 2 with 1 being implied but not going anywhere which was very disappointing. Aside from that I cannot recommend this series enough, it’s definitely a must watch!

    Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    9.5

In the past 2 years I’ve noticed that Korean BL’s have seriously been stepping up their game, but it seems 2023 has been on a whole other level. This series is about Lee Wan who has had a crush on his classmate, Shin Ki Tae, for a long time. He finally decides to confess to him on the final day of school and kisses him, but is too terrified to hear Ki Tae’s rejection and runs away before he can respond. Years later, Lee Wan attends an interview as an artist for a gaming company where he meets Ki Tae again who will become one of his new coworkers. Lee Wan believes Ki Tae doesn’t remember him so he decides to accept the position. However, what will happen when Ki Tae not only recognises Lee Wan, but has spent years searching for him so he can finally respond to Lee Wan’s high school confession? I honestly loved this series a lot, the best way to describe it is short and sweet. Although the pacing is a little slow, considering the short run time, it’s a very easy series to get through and the chemistry between the main leads is great. I hope to see them in a potential season 2 someday!

  • The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty

    Chinese Drama - 2020, 48 episodes

    9.0

This was much longer than I expected when I started watching, but I really loved this. This is another Chinese Bromance adapted from a BL novel which is a shame, but censorship bans are very annoying. This is about Tan Fang, a sixth rank official, and Sui Zhou, a uniformed guard. The 2 join forces for a case, becoming unlikely friends. After Tan Fangs landlord is found dead he moves in with Sui Zhou while trying to solve the case. It’s then that they meet Wang Zhi (my favourite character) who is an eunuch serving the King and Queen. The 3 constantly team up to solve cases together, and help each other out when in need. As the story goes on, they must tackle each obstacle while having faith in each other while trying to save lives, including the Kings after it becomes threatened by corrupt Officials. In the beginning this series was (a little) boring but it quickly picked up and became so much better than I ever could have expected. The only reason it’s not higher up is because at times the plot became a little boring, but other than that everything about this series was so good, it made me laugh so much, and cry just as often. Despite how long it was, I really hope they make a season 2!

  • HIStory2: Crossing the Line

    57. HIStory2: Crossing the Line

    Taiwanese Special - 2018, 8 episodes

My second favourite BL in the HIStory series. Its about a boy called Qiu Zi Xuan, who was an amazing Volleyball player, but unfortunately got badly injured and cannot play again, so he continues to help the Volleyball club as a manager. There he meets Xia Yu Hao, a guy with a very bad temper who was forced to join the club after losing a bet. When he finds out about Zi Xuans injuries, he decides that he will fulfil Zi Xuans dream to go to the top for him, and eventually feelings between them develop. We also see Yu Haos friends, Wang Zhen Wu and his stepbrother Wang Zhen Wen. We discover that they both have feels for each other but are too afraid to act on it because of their relations. It’s really cute and funny, and the main and side couples are adorable. There is some good action and sound effects, and I wish it was a bit longer, but luckily they have announced sequel movie which may or may not be happening.

  • Advance Bravely

    58. Advance Bravely

    Chinese Drama - 2017, 30 episodes

This one is unfortunately a Bromance, not a BL. This is about a boxer called Xia Yao, who ends up attracting the attention of a girl named Yuan Ru, and she sends her brother to try and make him fall in love with her, but it backfires completely. Unlike the novel, Yuan Zong and Xia Yao, are just friends, but you can tell there is more than just friendly feelings between them. The actors chosen were perfect, and the production is amazing. I have rewatched this so many times!! We also have 2 side “couples” which, like the main couple, are together in the novel, but just friends in this, but luckily we still had one of the characters as canonly gay. But don’t let this series being a bromance stop you from enjoying it to its fullest!!

  • HIStory2: Right or Wrong

    59. HIStory2: Right or Wrong

    Taiwanese Special - 2018, 8 episodes

    9.5

This is also one of my favourite seasons in the HIStory series. If you’re new to BLs, then the HIStory series is a bunch of short Taiwanese BLs, ranging from around 4 to 8 episodes, or 10 to 20 for the longer ones. This mini series is about a student called Fei Sheng Zhe, who meets a man called Shi Yi Jie and his daughter Yo Yo. Yi Jie hires Sheng Zhe to help babysit Yo Yo while her father works, but soon he finds out that Yi Jie is his new teacher. With the time they spend together taking care of Yo Yo Sheng Zhe begins to fall for him. But what happens when Yo Yo’s mother comes back in the picture? This drama may make some people uncomfortable as there is a large age gap, and a Teacher/Student relationship. However, I personally thought this series was so cute and sweet, and full of heart stopping moments. The ending actually made me cry from happiness!! I would 100% recommend this one!!!!!

  • Boys' Lockdown

    60. Boys' Lockdown

    Filipino Drama - 2020, 6 episodes

    10

This drama isn’t really discussed a lot as a good Filipino BL series, but this is actually one of my favourites that took place during the lockdown. This drama is about Key who lives in an apartment complex where you need a quarantine pass to leave the building and go shopping. One day he goes to the pharmacy and meets Chen who he accidentally bumps into causing them to drop their items and Key accidentally takes one of Chen’s pill packages. A week later they run into each other again and exchange numbers. When they arrange to meet up again, Key is unable to get the quarantine pass and can’t leave. In that time he discovers that Chen is actually a famous uptiker (I’m guess that’s a copyright version of TikTok) going by the name of CCStrng that Key has been following for years and has a huge crush on. With this revelation he goes to ask Chen if it’s true, but what happens when he finds out that not only is it true, but Chen also has feelings for Key? This was such a sweet and light-hearted drama, and I’m so glad I watched it. I would definitely recommend watching this.

That was so sweet, I really fell in love with this series. This is about a marathon runner named Jin Won, who once was known as a record breaker, but since starting university he hasn’t completed a single marathon. While training he meets Sang Ha, a freshman hoping to become his new pacemaker. Although Jin Won originally believed he didn’t need a pacemaker, after seeing Sang Ha in action, he decides to accept the offer. As they spend time together Jin Won finds out that Sang Ha has been crushing on him for a while and he begins to get confused of his own feelings. This series was one of the first I’ve seen with such a confident gay character and their relationship was actually incredibly sweet and healthy. I’m very happy to have finished this and would definitely recommend this!

  • Papa & Daddy

    63. Papa & Daddy

    Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes

    9.5

Wow, although I know that there have been various BL series where the couple adopt a son, this series took that theme to another level. This series is about a couple, Jerry and Damian, who adopt a son named Kai. It focuses on the hardships between them being a gay couple with a son. I think it’s important that this is a Taiwanese series as Taiwan is the first and so far only (not counting Israel) Asian country to legalise same sex marriage and allow partial adoption for same sex couples. This series deals with some serious and prevalent issues that unfortunately many LGBT couples still face to this day, including homophobia, child bullying, and adoption as prime examples of this. I’m really happy to see LGBT dramas portray such realistic aspects of gay relationships, such as societal pressure, and I love that they dug deep into Kai’s confusion with having 2 dads instead of a mum and a dad, because it really exposes the heteronormative society we still live in. Episode 5 was by far my favourite because it does such an amazing job to present the fear of coming out, especially to conservative parents which I’ve definitely had a lot of experience with. It was so heartwarming that their love could be accepted and I nearly cried at the final scene. Unfortunately the ending of episode 6 was when everything went downhill and they left it with a cliffhanger which will cause a lot of drama if a second season is made.

    Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    8.5

I did not expect to enjoy this series as much as I did but wow! I can’t put words into how good this was, everything from the acting to the cinematography to the chemistry was on point! This series is about Yoh, a manga artist known for drawing erotic manga. His dream was always to become a manga artist, but unfortunately this career doesn’t pay well. Back in high school he became friends with Segasaki, a man who later went on to become a popular weather forecaster. Segasaki made Yoh an offer, Yoh could live with Segasaki for free, no need to pay for rent, gas, electric or food. Segasaki would pay for everything. In return for this, Yoh must obey Segasaki’s every command. Yoh did all the housework including the cooking and cleaning during the day, while at night the two would constantly sleep together. Will this relationship be stuck as “friends with benefits” or will the two be able to confront the rising feelings between them and accept that the tension between them has always been love? This was such a good series, my only complaint was that it was way too short. By the time we got through the intro and outro there were probably only 15 minutes of plot each episode. It was a great series, but I wish we got to see more from them. That’s really my main complaint, other than that I really enjoyed this series and would definitely recommend it as a quick and steamy BL to watch in your free time.

This was season 2 to Absolute BL which was already one of my favourite comedy BL series so far and even though this season wasn’t as good as the first season I really enjoyed it. Even though in season 1 Mobu fell in love with Kikuchi, this season that fell through with the return of his ex boyfriend. With this situation he returns to being a passerby and avoiding all the BL troops in everyday life. This season was still just as hilarious as I expected it to be and I can’t wait for season 3 to come out.

  • Men with Sword Season 2

    66. Men with Sword Season 2

    Chinese Drama - 2017, 30 episodes

    10

This continues from where Season 2 left off. After Tianji is destroyed by the new Kingdom of Nansu, it’s King (Yu Qing) is attacked by his own brother, Yu Xiao, who is upset of his neglect for the citizens wellbeing. After his attack he is sentenced to death, but is saved by Murong Li who hides him away until the time is right. Finally when the tine comes, Yu Qing is killed and Yu Xiao steps up as king. Murong Li then creates a plan to attack Tianxuan and take back his kingdom, so he pretends to have been kidnapped so Nansu and Tianquan unite to “save him”, destroying Tianxuan, and Li can finally reclaim his homeland. Meanwhile Zhong Kun Yi is still in hiding but scheming against Li after the death of his close companions. He sets out with 1 aim, to destroy Yaoguang, Murong Li’s kingdom, and won’t stop until he succeeds. This season was so much better than the first which much better props, scenery, music, and outfits. I was so happy with this and couldn’t recommend it enough!

  • From Now to the Past

    67. From Now to the Past

    Chinese Movie - 2015

    10

This is only a short movie, about 8 minutes, but it’s a must watch. It’s about a man who is getting married but kisses his best man before he does. His soon to be wife sees this, then at the ceremony asks him if he really loves her. Then it ends on a sad note when the chandelier breaks and someone gets crushed and dies. Even though it is quite sad it’s a really good movie, and the kiss scene was one of the best I have ever watched. This is a great summary for the fragility of love and I definitely recommend giving this one a go!!!!

    Chinese Drama - 2016, 30 episodes

    9.5

Although this is tagged as a bromance due to being Chinese, it’s definitely more than a simple bromance. It’s literally so obvious that they are all attracted to each other that it couldn’t get much gayer. This is set after Qui Zhen, a secret assassin from Tianxuan Kingdom is sent to kill the king of Jutian kingdom, but compilations arise causing him to kill himself infront of Tianxuan’s king (Ling Guang)/his former companion (lover). Afterwards Ling Guang falls in a state of depression and takes a step back from the throne. Gong Sun Qian joins the kingdom to help Ling Guang move on, which becomes no easy task, but something in Gong Sun reminds Ling Guang of Qui Zhen. Then in the kingdom of Tianquan, the childish king, Zhi Ming (the best character in the series) never takes his tasks seriously and looks for fun always.  Meanwhile Zong Kun Yi, a young man from a poor background, approaches Tianshu kingdom with the intent to learn from one of the greatest teachers. There he meets King Meng Zhang who, after hearing his great analysis and foreword thinking, finds himself with a close attachment to him. Shortly after he and the king becomes close, in the kingdom of Tianji, Jian Bin declares his state is becoming an official kingdom with himself as the new king. Each of the kingdoms send an envoy, and on the road Gong Sun Qian and Zhong Kun Yi meet, becoming fast friends. However, when a mysterious musician by the name of Murong Li shows up, men after men begin falling for him, unaware of his true identity. Li eventually ends up in Tianquan where Zhi Meng quickly falls for him, but is Murong able to return his affection? As someone who’s a huge fan of historical dramas, I can not recommend this enough! It’s just incredible!!!

  • Love Mechanics

    69. Love Mechanics

    Thai Drama - 2022, 10 episodes

    9.0

I enjoyed En Of Love: Love Mechanics so when I heard that mini series would be made into a full length series I obviously had to watch it. Mark has his heart broken after being rejected by his crush Bar and decides to go out and get drunk. He mistakenly believes he is with Bar and has a one night stand with him, but it turns out in his drunken state he mistook Bar for Vee, who happens to be Bar’s close friend. After they sleep together, they begin a strange relationship as Vee battles with his feelings between Mark and his girlfriend who he discovers has been cheating on him too. There’s a lot of misunderstandings and miscommunication between the main couple which definitely gets frustrating at times, but the chemistry between Yin and War was incredible. Even though I typically hate cheating storylines I really enjoyed this series and would definitely recommend it, the whole cast has definitely improved from their previous mini series and to be honest I’m quite glad that the actors for Gun and Bar were replaced. All I will say is if you liked En of Love: Love Mechanics, you’ll love this version.

  • Your Name Engraved Herein

    70. Your Name Engraved Herein

    Taiwanese Movie - 2020

    9.0

This was a really nice movie and I would definitely consider this a must watch. This is set in 1987 in an all boys Christian catholic school. This story focuses on Jia Han and Birdy, who met during the school band led by a Canadian priest. One day, they were granted a day off to go to Taipei for the late president’s funeral. The two took a chance to explore the city and theaters, finding themselves inspired by brotherly love and freedom. A few days after this, Jia Han’s love and affection for Birdy became awakened, but a confused Birdy pushed him away by pretending to fall in love with a girl. The misunderstanding separated them ever since until three decades later, when the two men met again when they’re older in a much more accepting environment. This was such a good coming of age story and while it’s definitely not a happy film by any means, it’s so real and heartbreaking that it was amazing. The reason I consider this to be a must watch is due to the fact that this is based on the real life story of the writer, except he never reunited with this childhood friend even though he longs to find him again. I loved this movie so much and cannot recommend it enough!

    71. Love in the Air

    Thai Drama - 2022, 13 episodes

    8.5

This is such a sweet series with 2 main couples that both get an equal amount of screen time. The first couple is Phayu and Rain, who meet after Rain’s car breaks down and Phayu happens to be nearby and fixes it, taking it back to the garage he owns. They immediately have a connection but Rain dislikes Phayu’s excessive flirting and decides he’s going to make Phayu fall in love with him. This plan ultimately backfires as Rain falls in love with Phayu and they begin dating. After they get together we meet the second couple, Rain’s best friend Sky and Phayu’s friend Prapai who meet at one of the illegal bike tournaments they attended. Prapai rescues Sky from being arrested and sleeps with him, which causes Sky to be embarrassed and avoid him, which only makes Prapai want him more. However, Sky’s previous relationship was filled with abuse and violence to the extent he is afraid to fall in love. We get to watch as Prapai breaks down Sky’s walls and they fall in love with each other. At times this series gets quite dark but overall it was so sweet and I loved it a lot.

Sadly we here we have another bromance series, when the novel is a BL! This is about China many, many years ago, during the war with the Japanese. It’s about a boy named Lui Yu Sheng, who is a teacher, and one day meets one of his old school friends Zhou Yao Hua who tells him to come and live with him. Zhou Yao Hua, like most of China, has a hatred to communists, but Lui Yu Sheng has connections to communists. This show is absolutely incredible. It has amazing costumes, perfect lighting and sound, awesome music, and the characters are all so adorable!! The plot may not sound that interesting, but it was so much better than what it sounds. Definitely try this one out, and you will not regret it!!!

I’m going to be honest, I was very nervous about this series because Force and Book were previously together in Enchanté the series, which I honestly hated. I assumed they were just bad actors because they were so new, but thankfully I decided to give this series a go because I loved them together here. This drama is about Cher, a gamer who has just started his internship at a video game company where his friend Jack works. There he meets the CEO, Gun, who appears to recognise him from his ASMR YouTube channel and has been watching Cher for a while every night before he goes to sleep. As Cher starts working at the company Gun agrees to call Cher every night to fall asleep to the sound of his voice. The two of them spending so much time together causes real feelings to grow between them. However, when Cher’s dark past is revealed, will Gun stand by his side or leave him too? I was shocked how sweet and heartwarming this was, with the occasional dark twist that really added to the shock value of this series. Force and Book had great chemistry and I’m so glad they had a series together where we could actually see this, as unfortunately Enchanté just didn’t do it for me. I loved them together here and can’t wait to see more of them in the future.

  • Ameiro Paradox

    74. Ameiro Paradox

    Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

    8.0

Short and sweet, I really enjoyed it. This series is about Onoe, a reporter for a gossip magazine who has just been paired up with Kaburagi, a photographer on the stake-out team. Kaburagi is known to flirt around and has dated and hooked up with multiple people, he is basically the polar opposite of Onoe. Onoe considers him to be his rival and decides to work with him while secretly trying to beat him and get the best article on the front page. However, the two soon realise they work very well together, tackling huge scandal after scandal and making a name for themselves. As they work together they find that the feelings between them go beyond just coworkers or rivals. Kaburagi is afraid that if he and Onoe date, Onoe will change and loose his kindhearted nature in the same way Kaburagi lost his, writing articles for the public uncaring of who it hurts in the process. Therefore he chooses to hold Onoe at arms length and avoid him. Can Kaburagi overcome his fear of love, or will his fears be confirmed and will Onoe really change? This was so sweet but too short, I immediately wanted more from them. I highly recommend this series as something short and sweet when you have some free time.

    75. Hidden Agenda

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

Simple, sweet and very overhated. That’s the best way to describe this series. This focuses on Zo, a student in the debate club who is building up the courage to confess his feelings towards Nita, another girl on the debate team. He decides to ask for help to date her from her ex boyfriend, Joke. What he doesn’t know, is that Joke has had a crush on Zo for a while and is using this chance to make his own move on Zo. Will Zo’s attempts to win over Nita work, or will Joke’s feelings get through to Zo before he has a chance to confess? JoongDunk easily have the best chemistry out of all GMMTV BL couples, though I find they can be very unlucky with their series as their chemistry isn’t coming through as well. This was a very simple series, don’t go into this expecting anything extraordinary. It’s charm lies in it’s simplicity in my opinion. This is definitely a comfort series for me and I did really enjoy it despite all the hate it got.

  • Bed Friend

    76. Bed Friend

    Thai Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    8.5

A series that broke my heart into pieces. This drama is about Uea, who works in the same office as playboy King. Uea has a horrible past, being abused by his mother, SA’d by his stepfather and cheated on by his ex boyfriend. As a result he often avoids people, especially King who keeps trying to get Uea to sleep with him. One night, after a work party the two get drunk and sleep together. This starts a weird relationship between them where they agree to become friends with benefits with no strings attached. However, when King falls for Uea for real and begins to court him, how will Uea react when his mother is trying to set him up with a rich older man believing she’ll become rich if that happens. The rich older man being the companies newest boss who has been harassing Uea for a while. This series broke my heart and then pieced it back together. Uea has such a horrific past and childhood, I’m so glad he found King who was surprisingly a total green flag boyfriend. The chemistry between the couple was INTENSE and I loved the ending, it was so sweet and a great place to end where the sequel Middleman’s Love will begin.

  • Stay by My Side

    77. Stay by My Side

    Taiwanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    8.5

Wow, I didn’t expect to enjoy this so much but this was absolutely adorable. This series is about Gu Bu Xia who has the ability to hear ghosts. One day he meets Jiang Chi who becomes his roommate. While they originally don’t get along and fight, Bu Xia realises that when he is touching Jiang Chi he cannot hear the ghosts. This leads him to initiate a lot of contact with Jiang Chi who believes Bu Xia is always around him because he has a crush on him. Jiang Chi begins to fall for Bu Xia and kisses him, so now Bu Xia needs to decide what he wants to do. Should he take advantage of Jiang Chi’s feelings to always stay by his side and stop hearing the ghosts, or should he come clean and avoid him as to not lead Jiang Chi on. What Bu Xia doesn’t consider is that he’ll start to return Jiang Chi’s feelings himself. How will a relationship built on lies and deceit turn out in the end? This was short but sweet and honestly, I definitely consider this a must watch. It’s definitely not the best Taiwanese BL I’ve seen, but I highly recommend it regardless.

  • Secrets in the Hot Spring

    78. Secrets in the Hot Spring

    Taiwanese Movie - 2018

    9.0

This, again, is unfortunately a bromance only, but this is one of the funniest films I’ve watched in a long time. In this film we have a boy named Xiaogin, who transferred to school during his fifth year. During the winter vacation, his grandparents tricked him into returning to the hotel which was founded by his parents. Xiaogin’s classmates Little Princess and Lu Qun tagged along to escape the school bullies. While the 3 boys were staying at Xiaogin’s family hotel, they found the hotel was in a terrible shape and was also haunted. Xiaogin and his friends have developed an extremely close friendship while they are trying to step closer to the truth, and in some cases, a little too close, as they work out the mystery behind the hot springs. This was so funny I was honestly crying with laughter throughout the movie. I discovered this on Netflix, and it’s so good!

  • Method

    Korean Movie - 2017

    9.5

This was an incredibly depressing but impressive Korean BL movie. Korea doesn’t often produce BLs, but it seems when they do they make it good. This is about a famous actor and idol who star in a play about 2 gay men. In the play they must be in a relationship, but soon as the rehearsals continue they begin to mix fiction and reality, and see the other in a different perspective, beginning a relationship that is neither safe nor healthy, but one they are happy in, at least until they face a rude awakening.

  • Jun & Jun

    80. Jun & Jun

    Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    8.5

The best way to describe this series is “simple but enjoyable”. This series is about former kpop trainee Lee Jun, who has given up his trainee life to work in an office as an intern in a cosmetic firm. There he meets Choi Jun, his manager, who is a figure from his past before he became a trainee. As the two reunite old feelings begin to spark. Can a love story between a manager and his intern work out, or will it only lead to heartbreak and despair? I really enjoyed this series, it was nothing particularly special but it was interesting and a great watch. I highly recommend this as a sweet break if you’ve been watching a lot of heavier BL’s recently, this has very little plot as the story is carried by the beautiful romance between the two main characters. It’s pretty short, so I definitely recommend giving it a try.

  • Because of You

    81. Because of You

    Taiwanese Drama - 2020, 10 episodes

    9.5

This series was WAYY to short, but so good! This is about 3 half brothers, Yuan Jun Cheng, Yuan Jun Dao, and Yuan Jun Ping. The brothers all have different mothers but all have a rich father who is the CEO of his own company. Because they’re all in line to take on this position, none of the brothers are very close. When the oldest brother, Yuan Jun Cheng returns from Korea and is attacked, he meets Lin Xun who saves him. Shortly after he is called for a meeting with his father and brothers where he discovers that Lin Xun might be his half brother, because their parents were lovers. The father tells them that whoever can become closest to him and discover if he is his son, then they will be granted 1 request. The 2 other brothers get their loved ones to help them. Through this we meet Yuan Jun Dao and his roommate (future lover) Yang Xiang, and Yuan Jun Ping and his best friend (future lover) Yan Yue. As the brothers begin to repair their relationship, while beginning relationships themselves, will Jun Cheng get a happy ending with the one he loves, or will Lin Xun really be his brother? This was such a good series and although it’s short and very fast paced, it’s still so good.

  • Kissable Lips

    82. Kissable Lips

    Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

    8.5

This was a Korean BL series that was short and sweet. I this drama focuses on a vampire calledJun Ho who is about to die. The only way he can survive is by drinking from someone with ‘pure’ blood. One day he meets Min Hyun, a human with pure blood, and decides to befriend him, hoping to find an opportunity to get his blood. The two grow close and eventually develop feelings, so will Jun Ho be able to drink from Min Hyun in time, or will the guilt of using Min Hyun end up being Jun Ho’s downfall. I honestly did like this series, it was just far too short. I think with a longer run time and better character writing this series could have been even better. Regardless, it was a pretty good series that I enjoyed a lot.

    83. Cherry Blossoms After Winter

    Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

    8.5

This was a series I was so excited for and really enjoyed when it came out. This series is about Haebom who lost his parents when he was young and was adopted by his mother’s best friend along with her son Taeseong, who was Haebom’s childhood best friend. Growing up they became distant shortly after Haebom moved in with them but reconnected in high school after Taeseong couldn’t keep hiding his feelings. After confessing to Haebom and being rejected after Haebom fears his feelings are not as strong as Taeseongs which would hurt them both in the long run, he finally agrees to confront his feelings and the 2 begin to date and move out of Taeseongs mothers house to get their own flat together. However, will their Mum accept their relationship after all? The manhwa for this series is one of my all time favourites which caused me to be very disappointed as several of my favourite scenes weren’t included in this series due to lack of time. Regardless I did really enjoy this series and highly recommend it.

    Thai Drama - 2019, 10 episodes

    9.0

This is the first Thai polyamory show I’ve ever watched, and I probably won’t ever watch anything better than this. This show was about the 3 main characters. First you have Neo, a stripper. After crime boss Thana discovered his wife Vanika was sleeping with Neo, he sent out hitmen to bring Vanika to him, and kill Neo. However the hitmen accidentally kill Vanika and chase Neo down after he escaped. He ran into a bar where he met his old friend, Shin. Shin is a gay boy who happens to be crime boss Thanas son. The owner of the bar, Miw, sees the hitman chase after Neo into the bathroom, and she follows him in there. When she sees the hitman trying to kill Neo, she grabs his gun and kills him. Now the 3 of them are on the run, nowhere is safe from Thana and his men, and they must use Shin as a willing hostage in order to escape. However, while they are on the run, they have to balance escape with the feelings that rise between the 3 of them. I absolutely loved this show. It was something different and unique and I couldn’t stop watching it. I couldn’t recommend this enough, and the actors were so perfect.

    85. You Make Me Dance

    Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes

    9.0

There was some debate about this series within its fan base, but I really loved it so much! This series is about Song Shi On, a dancer that is in a lot of debt with Chachacha capital. There he meets Jin Hong Seok, a man who gave up his dream of being a pianist to become a debt collector. Shi On needs to pay the capital back the money he borrowed, and to do this he auditions for the role of a lead dancer hoping if he wins he can pay off his debt. Hong Seok moves in with him to ensure Shi On will do everything he can to win. However, one of Shi On’s jealous teammates, and the CEO of Chachacha capital, Cha Soo Ryeon, are constantly pulling the two apart. Will their efforts succeed or will they fight will all their might to remain by each other’s side. I really enjoyed this series and have rewatched it many times already.

This was so comedic and hilarious I was crying from laughter. This series is about Nott, a handsome mechanic, who lives in an all-boys apartment owned by Porpla, the cross dressing  yaoi fan owner. One day one of Nott's inventions causes an electrical fire destroying Porpla's Yaoi dvds. She decides to kick him out, when Pun, an ad celebrity arrives seeking for a room. Knowing about Porpla's Yaoi likeness Nott asks Pun to help him stay in the apartment by pretending to be his Boyfriend! Pun accepts and pretends to be Nott's boyfriend. But as time passes The two can't help but eventually fall for each other. I loved all the cast members, and despite being a sitcom, the relationship dynamics were really good! Definitely worth a watch.

    87. Long Time No See

    Korean Drama - 2017, 5 episodes

    9.0

This is literally a Mafia AU brought to life and I love it so much!!!!! This is about a hitman called Chi Soo, who goes by the code name ‘Flying Dagger.’ One day he bumps into a man called Gi Tae who also goes by the code name ‘Wild Dog.’ They both meet coincidently a few times, and eventually start talking and fall in love. However they are both hiding their true identities, so when they both discover who the other is during a fight lead by their bosses, they run into danger, as the gangsters they fought for believe them both to be traitors. They have to fight against many obstacles in order to keep their love. This is one of the best movies I have seen, with a happy ending, but it was wayyyy to short. The plot was kinda cliche, but the acting and budget was no joke! I have rewatched this movie many times now, and I know I will definitely continue to rewatch it, and would definitely recommend it to everyone!!

  • Twins

    88. Twins

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    8.5

This was one of those series which starts really well then falls off by the end. This series is about the identical twins Sprite and Zee. Sprite is on his schools judo team and is one of the best in the club, bright and happy and makes friends easily. Zee is on his schools volleyball team and is the polar opposite of Sprite. One day, after Sprite wins a big judo competition and impresses his coach, two other members in the club are jealous and hire some people to beat up Sprite and put him in a coma. What they and the men they hire don’t realise is that the one they beat was not Sprite but Zee. Blaming himself for his brother being put in a coma, Sprite is forced by his mother and childhood friend (adviser to the volleyball team) Salmon to play the part of Zee until he is out of the hospital, otherwise his place on the team could be taken away which will affect future scholarships. What Sprite soon realises is that the whole volleyball team hates Zee, so playing this role will be very difficult for the extroverted and friendly Sprite. On the team he meets First, who clearly has a harsher vendetta against Zee, so he resolves to patch things up between them. First is surprised and at first suspicious about Zee’s change in personality but soon falls for the new version of Zee. Will Sprite be able to admit his real identity to First or will Zee’s arrival force him to disappear as though he was never there, leaving both Sprite and First heartbroken? This started off so well but unfortunately towards the end was a little disappointing. I don’t like how they tackled the twin reveal and I’m not happy about Sprite having so many chances to tell First the truth but waiting till the last possible minute to do so. The acting was also questionable at times by the background characters. I definitely don’t regret watch this series and absolutely loved the main cast Frame and Ryan, but it’s not something I think I’ll rewatch again.

  • The Novelist

    89. The Novelist

    Japanese Drama - 2018, 6 episodes

    9.0

Wow. I haven’t watched many 18+ dramas before but this was so sexual and erotic that it was weird, but in a good way. This is about Kuzumi Haruhiko, a university student who one day gets into a bicycle accident with a novelist who writes erotic fiction, Kijima Rio, breaking his arm in the process. As Kuzumi doesn’t have much money to pay for the hospital fees, Kijima asks him to be his writer and write down everything he tells him for the plot of his next few novels. As they grow closer they begin to explore a more sensual relationship between the 2 of them. This show was incredibly weird but honestly something about this made it really enjoyable. I would recommend giving it a go for yourself as long as you are aware of the explicit sexual content.

  • Star and Sky: Sky in Your Heart

    90. Star and Sky: Sky in Your Heart

    Thai Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

    9.0

I really enjoyed it, it was definitely a short and sweet series that is a sequel to Star in My Mind, so you should only watch this after finishing that series otherwise this won’t make much sense. This drama is about Kuafah, a doctor who is forced to take on community service in a remote village with his friends, JJ and Mesa, after being involved with a drunk driving incident. While up in the mountains he meets the volunteer teacher Prince, who expresses an instant dislike for him, believing him to be a snobby rich guy. As they spend more time in the village together, feelings develop between the two of them. However, can a love between two very different people in two different stages of life work out well, or will it turn into a disaster? I liked this series a lot more than SIMM as the scenery, setting and cinematography were beautiful and the main couple had a lot of chemistry together. Although I don’t think these series are a must watch, I would still recommend giving them a go and seeing what you think.

  • 2 Moons 2

    91. 2 Moons 2

    Thai Drama - 2019, 12 episodes

    8.5

This was so cute, sweet and pure. In this series you have 3 main couples. First we have Wayo, a junior who joins a university to see his life long crush, Pha. Pha is the most handsome boy in the year, and the moon of the campus. Wayo has the opportunity to become the faculty’s moon, which allows him to get even closer to Pha. At first he and Pha don’t get along, as Pha always teases him, but as the competition grows nearer, Pha realises why he recognises Wayo so much, and when the competition ends they begin dating. In the competition the winner, and new Moon of the campus is Wayo’s best friend Ming. Ming was typically a playboy, dating many girls, and was a bit of a womaniser. However, when he meets Pha’s friend Kit, he suddenly changes, and wants to be in a serious relationship with him. Kit is very sweet, but also sharp-tongued and not afraid to voice his thoughts. He avoids Ming and first, but as they grow closer, he starts to see Ming in a different light. Finally Pha’s other friend Beam, who was in love with Kit, was heartbroken after discovering Kit and Ming’s relationship. He runs into Forth, a faculty moon who used to have a crush on Wayo, and the 2 get drunk and sleep together. Afterwards Forth cannot stop thinking about Beam, and begins to court him. But Beam just wants to forget it ever happened. As Forth continues moving forward, Beam can only move so far back, before he begins to meet Forth in the middle, and return his feelings. This was a remake of 2 Moons and honestly the acting was much better, I liked the cast choice more as they  were gorgeous and perfect! I would definitely recommend this much more than the original.

  • Diary of Tootsies

    92. Diary of Tootsies

    Thai Drama - 2016, 12 episodes

    9.5

This was absolutely hilarious!!!! This is about a group of 3 gay guys: Gus, Golf, and Kim, and a lesbian: Natty. This show was about the 4 of them being heartbroken, and searching for love. Their friendship is enviable, and I couldn’t stop laughing throughout this show. It shows very cliche gay guys, who act quite feminine, and dress in drag a lot. I was expecting the entire show to be a comedy, but there were also some serious moments too, which I loved. Originally I didn’t think I would take this show that seriously, but when Gus got his new boyfriend Top I was so invested in their relationship, and they were so cute together. Such a great gay comedy series that I couldn’t stop watching.

A fantastic wrap up from the disappointing ending of season 1. This had the ending I hoped for with the intimacy that 2gether lacked before. I’m so happy they created this so I could enjoy the better ending. However, I can officially say I hate Dim a lot after this series!

  • Dangerous Romance

    94. Dangerous Romance

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    8.5

I’m convinced that 50% of the hate comments just don’t like PerthChimon as a ship and came into this series with a negative mindset, which is why the ratings are so bad. I thought this was actually a great series, not perfect but not awful either. This drama is about Sailom, a poor student on a scholarship and working several part time jobs so he and his older brother Saifah can pay off their debts. Sailom’s scholarship is being sponsored by their local MP whose son is a bully at his school, Kanghan. Kanghan tries to use this to bully and force Sailom into doing his and his friends school work for him, but Sailom is smart and every attempt made to get Sailom kicked out always ends up backfiring on Kanghan. However, when Kanghan tries to break into Sailom’s house one day to threaten him, he finds Sailom being beaten up by loan sharks and saves him. Kanghan’s grandmother offers to pay off Sailom’s debts if he can be Kanghan’s tutor and help him get into a good university. Through their studies, Sailom realises Kanghan isn’t just the rich, bratty bully he appears and begins to fall for him. But when Kanghan prepares to confess to his crush, Pimfah, Sailom has to decide whether he should fight for Kanghan’s love, or step aside knowing he isn’t on Kanghan’s level at all. This was adorable and absolutely not worth the hate it got, though I’ll be honest the kiss scenes were pretty bad. I definitely recommend this if you want a simple BL to get through when you have some free time, it is pretty good overall.

  • Star and Sky: Star in My Mind

    95. Star and Sky: Star in My Mind

    Thai Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

    8.5

My advice with this series is to honestly ignore the negative reviews and give it a chance. This drama is about Daonuea who had a crush on Khabkluen since high school. He confessed on the final school day before travelling to spend a year in Germany but was rejected. Now he finds out that they are in the same university and living in a shared dorm together with a group of other guys. When someone else in their friend group develops a crush on Daonuea, he decides to give that person a chance, unaware that Khabkluen has began developing feelings of his own for Daonuea. What happens when one person falls out of love while the other begins to fall in love? This was a series filled with misunderstandings, miscommunication and was pretty short overall. Despite that, I actually enjoyed it as a breath of fresh air in comparison to some of the heavier, 18+ BL’s I’ve been watching recently. I would definitely recommend giving it a go, if only so you can watch Sky in Your Heart next.

  • The Stranded

    96. The Stranded

    Thai Drama - 2019, 7 episodes

    9.5

Wow, this was so inclusive and diverse I loved it. If you’ve seen Lost, White Christmas, and Lord of the Flies, then this will remind you of all 3. In this mini series, a tsunami hits a small island leaving 36 students Stranded on their own fighting for a way home. However as they continue to explore the island, they realise there’s more to the island and themselves than what they realise. Unexpectedly they begin to awaken supernatural powers out of their control. This features a gay couple, a (future) lesbian couple, a bromance, and straight couples. The gay couple, Jack and Krit, were so adorable and my heart broke for them so many times! The lesbian couple, Arisa and Ying, were also 2 of my favourite characters, especially Arisa who was so awesome despite everyone hating her. The bromance, Gun and Nat, didn’t have very many moments but I really loved them regardless! I would definitely recommend this series, but there was a cliffhanger ending and the main actor sadly passed away so a sequel is unlikely. This series contains happiness, sadness, and deaths that will leave you in tears, so it’s definitely not the typical happy-go-lucky drama but I still enjoyed it so much!

  • Wish You: Your Melody From My Heart (Movie)
    9.0

Decided to watch the movie instead of the series as I was told this was better as it has an extra 20 minutes that wasn’t in the series, and other than that it was the exact same things. This series is about Yoo Sang Yi, a keyboardist working at a large record company. One day he sees Kang In Soo, an aspiring singer, singing and playing the guitar in public and falls in love with his voice. Sang Yi overhears his name and researches him to find some of his songs he’s uploaded on YouTube. His coworker, Lee Yoo Jin, sees him listening to In Soo’s songs and asks to listen. She loves his voice too and at the next company meeting she brings him up to their Team Leader. They reach out to In Soo and sign him under the company. One of the conditions for his offer is that one of the company members must move in with him and they decide that person will be Sang Yi. As the two live together and connect with each other, Sang Yi begins to fall in love with In Soo. Unfortunate, if In Soo is to debut, he can’t be caught in a relationship, especially with another man. Can their feelings be reciprocated even when their dreams are standing in the way? Although their wasn’t a lot of development with the characters as we know next to nothing about who they are, especially In Soo who remained a mystery the entire time. Despite this the pacing was great and the build up of feelings was at a great speed despite a relatively short run time. Very happy with this.

  • My Engineer

    98. My Engineer

    Thai Drama - 2020, 14 episodes

    8.5

When I first started watching this I was not expecting it to be so good! This series has 4 couples. The main couple is Boun, a popular engineering student that gets accidentally punched in the face by Duen when trying to help him. Duen is a first year medical student and as punishment Boun makes Duen buy him flowers everyday for a month. Slowly as the month goes on the value of the flowers change and Boun begins having feelings for the junior and his flowers. The next couple are possibly my favourite if I had to choose. Ram is a first year engineering student and Duen’s friend, but because he’s so shy he rarely speaks to people, preferring the company of dogs instead. However when he meets Bohn’s friend King, the outgoing senior tries to become closer to Ram. Ram tries to avoid him, but he finds himself opening up to the senior who seems to understand him in ways he never expected anyone to, and despite Kings fear of dogs they become more than just close friends. Next is 2 of Boun’s other friends Mek and Boss. They have been friends for years and the whole faculty gives them the nicknames silly wife and mute husband. However Mek has had feelings for Boss ever since they met but has kept them hidden fearing it would destroy their friendship. But when Boss gets a girlfriend will Mek finally have the courage to confess his love? Finally, Dr. Thara is a medical intern who meets the snappy Frong who was just rejected by Duen. Originally they don’t get along but after Frong’s mother is admitted to hospital for possible cancer, the 2 grow closer. However, is it possible to fall in love in such a short amount of time? I never expected to love this as much as I did but other than 1 couple (the main couple ironically) which I hated, the other 3 couples were super cute and I was really rooting for them all.

This about 2 boys called Gu Hai and Bai Yuo Lin, who meet in school and at first have a disliking to each other, but eventually manage to become friends, and then something more, before finding out their parents are getting married and they will become step brothers. This was amazing, and while it is a bromance there is an uncut version of this, where they actually kiss quite a few times, and Chinese censorship bans haven’t held it back at all!! I loved this one, and it’s a very big, well rated one! This is one I would definitely recommend, however it does end on a cliffhanger after the series was cancelled, and there is no chance at all of there being a second season so the ending isn’t as satisfying as I would have liked.

The second season to Call It What You Want. Although opinions are divided over this season I actually preferred it over season 1, mainly for the Marco Bas storyline. This season was about James and Ait after they finally began dating, but had to navigate to find a balance between work and love. Meanwhile Bas is having to deal with the trauma of what his boss Tee did to him and his coworker Kaprao, after Kaprao revealed what Tee did to himself and Bas. He looks to Marco who helps him cope with his trauma and takes revenge for him, and along the way they find love. The ending was quite rushed and I honestly didn’t care for Ait and James this season but other than that I loved everything about this. Michaels acting was incredible and he portrayed such dark themes amazingly. So happy with this season!
