  • My Love from the Star

    1. My Love from the Star

    Korean Drama - 2013, 21 episodes

    9.0

A Hate turned to love situation that melts you like butter with a nice amount of humor. Not hardcore binge-worthy but at the same time good watching in increments. the character development is amazing and you will love the couple because of both of their inexperience in intense love and showing their journey  within their feelings

  • The Heirs

    2. The Heirs

    Korean Drama - 2013, 20 episodes

    8.0

Great for first timers showing all  the Korean clichés (the hand grabbing, the cliché antagonist parent, the 3 way love triangle, the  rich man and poor girl, the multiple unnecessary camera angle shots  etc) with a touch of Second Lead Syndrome but at the same time unique with its plot and heartwarming (to a degree)

  • What's Wrong with Secretary Kim

    3. What's Wrong with Secretary Kim

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    9.0

a different plot line mixed with a not to different plot line to create surprises with what you think will happen but it throws a curve ball. tragic backstory with the characters, rich man poor girl, love the romance development though and how Secretary kim isn't a weak main character (for the most part)

  • Coffee Prince

    4. Coffee Prince

    Korean Drama - 2007, 17 episodes

    9.5

Really cute and different. It's really cute bc of the budding romance in the workplace and the ploline which makes the Main lead fall for the main characters personality first(I will say that the second couple, not the main couple, were very annoying to me so I always skipped those scenes lmao.) But I reallyyyy like the couple and this drama.

  • Dream High

    5. Dream High

    Korean Drama - 2011, 16 episodes

    9.0

this is really good for people who like the singing/ dancing business of Korea but can still be good for people that don't like it. it's setting is in a performing art school for people aspiring to be singers etc. the main character is more on the assertive side but still is a loveable character and has a love triangle with 2 guys she also had to bring to the school. I LOVE the mystery the looms over the plot of Who will make it big? and that its unique in the way it concludes the whole series.

  • Goblin

    6. Goblin

    Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes

    9.0

REALLY popular in Korea  and for good reason too. it was kinda weird that the main character is still in school but past that everything is wonderful. I love the second couple more tho tbh. the ending was kinda confusing but still the journey and character development is so good

  • Healer

    7. Healer

    Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes

    8.5

Healr has Love, Action, humor, a bit of politics, and mystery. the Main male character is so cute bc of his dreams and wants contrasting his job and actions. that mixed with the main female character and her whole characterization. it's sorta like spider man and Mary jane a little bit. the end drags on a bit but still really good

  • Longing Heart

    8. Longing Heart

    Korean Drama - 2018, 10 episodes

    9.5

This one made my heart feel a lot of things. giddy is one of them. so I would first read the synopsis  this website has. the whole plot is so different from what I'm used to in Korean dramas. so he is in a love triangle... with himself. the main male (older) character is actually a singer from a band CNblue that I really like so I probs have a bias in this show. I was obsessed as it was ongoing. one thing that I didn't really like was the female leads almost 2d feelings which I believe couldv been fixed with more episodes and a better production bc everything was there to make her more likeable but it didn't all connect for me. also the ending seemed to have some plotholes that I found confusing but I was probs just overanalyzing

  • Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo

    9. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo

    Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes

    10

Okay moon lovers, had me in a tornado of emotions, if your okay with crying a lot and reevaluating your skill in reading people this will be no problem for you. I legit cried about 10 times and one of those times I cried for 5 minutes straight. I STILL LOVE IT THOUGH. this drama made me so passionate for the characters and gave me a little history lesson while I was at it too. This is also for a more advanced Korean drama person bc there are some terminology used in Korean historical dramas and there are a LOT of faces and names to remember, but still I would highly recommend this drama if you're okay with any of that. it seems like I'm only pointing out the bad parts in this drama but there are so many good parts trust me

  • Secret Garden

    10. Secret Garden

    Korean Drama - 2010, 20 episodes

    8.5

Secret garden shows the rich man poor girl cliché well and nicely to show us why there are so many dramas with the premise and why we yearn for it. and with the tragic back story and disapproving parents. this show  hits you out of no where with a fictional element which I thought was gonna be the whole plotline (I was wrong) and I was okay with that because that slight supernatural event added slightly into the drama created a better recognition for the audience to see their love for each other (if that makes sense)

  • The Lover

    11. The Lover

    Korean Drama - 2015, 12 episodes

    10

The Lover is if ur in the mood for humor whether it's original humor or dirty humor and romance. I love the different "couples"/ roommates that are shown and how they all get screen time as if there is not a definitive main character and main lead. the romances are al different and everyone has different situations pertaining to love in their apartments. I love love love the humor, Korea tends to be on the more reserved side when it comes to romance and jokes etc but this show doesn't follow the norm. hugely underappreciated and my favorite Korean Show in the humor catergory

  • Kill Me, Heal Me

    12. Kill Me, Heal Me

    Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes

    8.0

kill me heal me is not so much complex in plot, but complex to the mind. with mystery/tragic back story. I dropped the show for a while and planned to resume but when I wanted to pick it back up I forgot where I left off and didn't want to rewatch the episodes I already seen but I really wish I didn't put it off because the romance was cute af and the personalities are  funny, daring, and added a lot of spice.

  • 49 Days

    13. 49 Days

    Korean Drama - 2011, 20 episodes

    10

49 days is a show that is glossed over by a lot of people but once it is seen people fall for it. like me! the characters are all so compelling and has awesome character development. it has a very unique plot which I think side more with the culture but it is easy to follow and fall in love with. the romance is one that the audiences yearn and beg for to happen because of the chemistry  and intensity through the situations that she deals with. this drama is more of a drama (lol) than most and makes you think and assess yourself and things beyond the show. I feel that it is a heartwarming slap in the face with the theme of the whole story. My favorite show in the category of dramas.
