In 2022, he entered the singing competition "Stars Awakening", produced by South Korea's Channel A and Japan's ABEMA. He was part of team idol who were declared the winners and, as part of the Top-7, he was allowed to debut as a member of a boy group, initially called YOUTH STAR and later changed to N.SSIGN, under n.CH Entertainment (n.CH엔터테인먼트). They released a pre-debut mini-album, "Salty", and held some concerts in Japan and South Korea. Originally, the company planned it as a 2-year project group, but after several discussions, it was decided to make it a permanent one.
He officially debuted as the group's main vocalist in August 2023 with the album "Birth of Cosmo".
On October 9, 2023, it was announced that he would temporarily halt activities due to health reasons.
